  I want to deploy an application to a list of servers. I have all of the build issues taken care of, but I'm having trouble publishing to a list of servers. I want to read the list of servers from an external file and call a target passing the name of each server in. <ItemGroup> <File Include="$(SolutionFolder)CP\Build\DenormDevServers.txt" /> </ItemGroup> <Target Name="DeployToServer" Inputs="Servers" Outputs="Nothing"> <Message Text="Deployment to server done here.   Hi, I am migrating a website over to a new server, its in ASP and uses several Access databases, the site and CMS can read, display the data, and even edit and update existing data entries, but when I want to add a new entry, I get an error... Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a0046' Permission denied: 'CreateObject' /padp2010d/ads_tradetracker.asp, line 11 There seems to be no passwords on the databases, I have set up and tested the ODBC Data Sources and they are working fine. • Logging to a file on Android

  Is there any way of retrieving log messages from an Android handset. I'm building an application which uses the GPS of my HTC Hero. I can run and debug the application from eclipse but this isn't a good use case of GPS, sat at my desk. When I fire the app up when I am walking around, I get an intermittent exception. Is there anyway I can output these exceptions to a text file on the SD card or output calls to Log.x("") to a text file so that I can see what the exception is. • How do I generate reports in R?

  I've been struggling for a week now trying to figure out how to generate reports in R using either Sweave or Brew. I should say right at the beginning that I have never used Tex before but I understand the logic of it. I have read this document several times. However, I cannot even get a simple example to parse. Brew successfully converts a simple markup file (just a title and some text) to a .tex file (no error). But it never ever converts tex to a pdf. > library(tools) > library(brew) > brew("population.brew", "population.tex") > texi2dvi("population.tex", pdf = TRUE) The last step always fails with: Error in texi2dvi("population.tex", pdf = TRUE) : Running 'texi2dvi' on 'population.tex' failed. What am I doing wrong? The report I am trying to build is fairly simple. I have 157 different analysis to summarize. Each one has 4 plots, 1 table and a summary. I just want output plot 1,2,3,4 output table \pagebreak ... that's it. Can anyone help me get further? I use osx, don't have Tex installed. thanks

I downloaded these images myself from the internet! They should exist in disk.

Althought it would be desired, it is NOT an option to split the CSV list into another related table. In the example data below I would be trying to capture the code 99 for widget A. Below is an example data representation. • [C++] Wrong EOF when unzipping binary file

  Hello there, I tried to unzip a binary file to a membuf from a zip archive using Lucian Wischik's Zip Utils: http://www.wischik.com/lu/programmer/zip_utils.html http://www.codeproject.com/KB/files/zip_utils.aspx FindZipItem(hz, filename.c_str(), true, &j, &ze); char *content = new char[ze.unc_size]; UnzipItem(hz, j, content, ze.unc_size); delete[] content; But it didn't unzip the file correctly. It stopped at the first 0x00 of the file. For example when I unzip an MP3 file, it will only unzip the first 4 bytes: 0x49443303 (ID3\0) because the 5th to 8th byte is 0x00000000. I also tried to capture the ZR_RESULT, and it always return ZR_OK (which means completed without errors). Do I need to install FTP Extensions, and if so, which ones and where do I get them? • How to partition bits in a bit array with less than linear time

  This is an interview question I faced recently. Given an array of 1 and 0, find a way to partition the bits in place so that 0's are grouped together, and 1's are grouped together. It does not matter whether 1's are ahead of 0's or 0's are ahead of 1's. An example input is 101010101, and output is either 111110000 or 000011111. Solve the problem in less than linear time. Make the problem simpler. The input is an integer array, with each element either 1 or 0. Output is the same integer array with integers partitioned well. To me, this is an easy question if it can be solved in O(N). My approach is to use two pointers, starting from both ends of the array. Increases and decreases each pointer; if it does not point to the correct integer, swap the two. int * start = array; int * end = array + length - 1; while (start < end) { // Assume 0 always at the end if (*end == 0) { --end; continue; } // Assume 1 always at the beginning if (*start == 1) { ++start; continue; } swap(*start, *end); } However, the interview insists there is a sub-linear solution. The input to the controller is an XML file that contains the path to each executable and list of command line parameters to be passed to each. I need to implement the following functionality: Start each executable as an independent Be able to kill any of the created processes independent of the others In order to do (2), I think I need to capture the pid when I create a process, to issue a system kill command. I tried to get access to pid in Java but saw no easy way to do it. All my other logic (putting info about the tasks in DB, etc) is done in Java so I'd like to stick with that, but if there are solutions you can suggest in C, C++, or Python I'd appreciate those, too.

Well, the functoin accepts a program path, the stopwatch is started, the program run and the stopwatch then stopped. Problem: the System.Diagnostics.Process.Start is asynchronous and the next instruction (watch stopped) is not executed when the application finishes. A new process is created... I need to stop the timer once the program ends. I thought about the Process class, thicking it held some info regarding the execution times... not lucky... How to solve this?

I need to find the best continuous 8 minute time interval where x value was the highest among all the others. if i capture say from 0th minute to 8th minute, there may be another time frame like 0.4 to 8.4 where it was maximum. the granularity is one second. every second we need to consider. basically the peak 8 minute window where x was maximum. please help me with the design

I can see nothing untoward in IB. Has anybody seen this and have any suggestions. I am using xcode 3.2.1 on snow leopard thanks

  I'm going through the google app engine tutorials at https://developers.google.com/appengine/docs/java/gettingstarted/usingusers I'm very new to google app engine, java and web programming in general. So my question is, at the bottom of the page it says to add a link to allow the user to log out. So far I've got this: public void doGet(HttpServletRequest req, HttpServletResponse resp) throws IOException { UserService userService = UserServiceFactory.getUserService(); User user = userService.getCurrentUser(); if(user != null){ resp.setContentType("text/plain"); resp.getWriter().println("Hello, " + user.getNickname()); String logoutLink = String.format("<a href=\"%s\">Click here to log out.</a>", userService.createLogoutURL(req.getRequestURI())); resp.getWriter().println(logoutLink); }else { resp.sendRedirect(userService.createLoginURL(req.getRequestURI())); } } However instead of a link, the full string is printed to the screen including the tags. When I look at the page source, I have no tags or any of the other stuff that goes with a webpage. I guess that makes sense considering I've done nothing to output any of that. Do I just do a bunch of resp.GetWriter().println() statements to output the rest of the webpage, or is there something else I don't know about? Thanks!

  I am running net share from a ruby script to delete a windows network share. If files on the share are in use, net share will ask the user if they want to go ahead with the deletion, so my script needs to inspect the output from the command, and write out Y if it detects that net share is asking it for input. In order to be able to write out to the process I open it with access flags "r+".
