    I'm building an hybrid Android App using Phonegap/Apache Cordova. My app should get data from my web api. I'm using JSON to serve the data to the APP. Everythings works fine in the Eclipse browser, but on the Android Emulator is not working.     Hi guys. Trying to fiddle around with regex here, my first attempt. Im trying to extract some figures out of content from an XML tag. The content looks like this: www.blahblah.se/maps.aspx?isAlert=true&lat=51.958855252721&lon=-0.517657021473527 I need to extract the lat and long numerical vales out of each link. They will always be the same amount of characters, and the lon may or may not have a "-" sign.   • ASP.NET MVC based CMS - dynamic generation of form helpers

    I am working on an ASP.NET MVC based CMS that presents a rather extreme case. The system must allow the user to add custom content types based on different fields, and for every field, one can add options and validations. The thing is that everything is stored in a complex DB and extracted at runtime using LINQ. I am pretty fresh with ASPNET MVC so the following dilemma came to mind How should I make the content creation view so that form helpers are not predefined int he view code but are loaded based on the type of the field ? Do I have to create a factory class that checks the value of the type property of the field, and then returns a helper based on that or there's a better way to do it. This one seems pretty rigid to me , because anytime I make a change in the Fieldtypes table, I will have to make sure to create a check for that new type too.

  • How to efficiently manage files on a filesystem in Java?

    I am creating a few JAX-WS endpoints, for which I want to save the received and sent messages for later inspection. To do this, I am planning to save the messages (XML files) into filesystem, in some sensible hierarchy. There will be hundreds, even thousands of files per day. I also need to store metadata for each file. I am considering to put the metadata (just a couple of fields) into database table, but the XML file content itself into files in a filesystem in order not to bloat the database with content data (that is seldomly read). Is there some simple library that helps me in saving, loading, deleting etc. the files? It's not that tricky to implement it myself, but I wonder if there are existing solutions? Just a simple library that already provides easy access to filesystem (preferrably over different operating systems). Or do I even need that, should I just go with raw/custom Java?

    Is there any way we can make the ASP.NET 4.5 Bundling functionality generate GUID's as part of the querystring when running in debug mode (e.g bundling turned OFF). The problem is when developing locally, the scripts/CSS files are generated like this: <script type="text/javascript" src="/Content/Scripts/myscript.js" /> So if i change that file, i need to do a hard-refresh (sometimes a few times) to get the file to be picked up by the browser - annoying. Is there any way we can make it render out like this: <script type="text/javascript" src="/Content/Scripts/myscript.js?v=x" /> Where x is a GUID (e.g always unique). Ideas? I'm on ASP.NET MVC 4.

  • jQuery Cluetip not activated until after hover or click event

    I'm not sure what is causing this, but I am using cluetip and binding it to a live event (either click or mouseenter), but in each situation the cluetip isn't firing until after one click or hover event. I am using the live event for ajax loaded content, but I'm also having this issue with non-Ajax loaded content. I'm not sure why this is happening - can anyone see where I might be going wrong?     hi, i am having issues with my django templating system, i have a base.html file, which contains the content which will be common on all the web pages of the web site, the base.html file fetches some dynamic content, like the categories and the archives, which are passed to it by a python file, which fetches the categories and the archives data from a mysql database. the issue when i inherit this base.html file in other html files like index.html: {% extends "base.html" %} and when when i call the main index URL for ex: http://mywebsite.com/index/ the index page gets loaded, but the categories and the archives data that should get loaded from the base.html file does not. what am i doing wrong, please help.

    Hi. I am creating a portfolio page for m personal site. I have a slider with approx 20 anchors that link to projects I have worked on, each one contains a client logo that when clicked should load some html content then fade that content into a container div on the same page. I have been advised to use the JQuery method load() which seems straight forward. The question I have is do I have to repeat the following code for each of the 20 anchors as the url is different for each one or is there a more efficient way? $('a#project1').click(function() { $('#work').load('ajax/project1.html'); } Also would I have to use the unload() method first to ensure the div I am loading into is empty?     I'd like the load content of my tabs thru AJAX, but only on the first tab click. Now the tabs gets loaded every time I click on any tab. Is this possible ?   • php preg_match pattern to extract a specific information, regex

    I need to extract a specific Id from a html document but the problem is that the id must not "be used". Here is the html content http://pastebin.com/wF2dx8JZ As you may see there are different html blocks . Some of them contain the "Used" word so I need to extract only the first id which is not used. Basically I can write a simple pattern like : $pattern = "/javascript:tw(.*))/"; preg_match_all($pattern, $content, $matches); $id = $matches[1][0]; However in this case I'm also getting the "ids" which are used so I don't know how to exclude them from the equation . Any idea would be highly appreciated.
