  • OpenCV : How to display webcam capture in windows form application?

    - by sneixum
generally we display webcam or video motion in opencv windows with : CvCapture* capture = cvCreateCameraCapture(0); cvNamedWindow( "title", CV_WINDOW_AUTOSIZE ); cvMoveWindow("title",x,y); while(1) { frame = cvQueryFrame( capture ); if( !frame ) { break; } cvShowImage( "title", frame ); char c = cvWaitKey(33); if( c == 27 ) { break; } } i tried to use pictureBox that is successful to display image in windows form with this : pictureBox1-Image = gcnew System::Drawing::Bitmap( image-width,image-height,image-widthStep,System::Drawing::Imaging::PixelFormat::Undefined, ( System::IntPtr ) image- imageData); but when im trying to display captured image from video it wont works, here is the source : CvCapture* capture = cvCreateCameraCapture(0); while(1) { frame = cvQueryFrame( capture ); if( !frame ) { break; } pictureBox1->Image = gcnew System::Drawing::Bitmap( frame->width,frame->height,frame->widthStep,System::Drawing::Imaging::PixelFormat::Undefined, ( System::IntPtr ) frame-> imageData); char c = cvWaitKey(33); if( c == 27 ) { break; } } is there anyway to use windows form instead opencv windows to show video or webcam? or is there something wrong with my code? thanks for your help.. :)

  • Logging Into a site that uses Live.com authentication

    - by Josh
I've been trying to automate a log in to a website I frequent, www.bungie.net. The site is associated with Microsoft and Xbox Live, and as such makes uses of the Windows Live ID API when people log in to their site. I am relatively new to creating web spiders/robots, and I worry that I'm misunderstanding some of the most basic concepts. I've simulated logins to other sites such as Facebook and Gmail, but live.com has given me nothing but trouble. Anyways, I've been using Wireshark and the Firefox addon Tamper Data to try and figure out what I need to post, and what cookies I need to include with my requests. As far as I know these are the steps one must follow to log in to this site. 1. Visit https: //login.live.com/login.srf?wa=wsignin1.0&rpsnv=11&ct=1268167141&rver=5.5.4177.0&wp=LBI&wreply=http:%2F%2Fwww.bungie.net%2FDefault.aspx&id=42917 2. Recieve the cookies MSPRequ and MSPOK. 3. Post the values from the form ID "PPSX", the values from the form ID "PPFT", your username, your password all to a changing URL similar to: https: //login.live.com/ppsecure/post.srf?wa=wsignin1.0&rpsnv=11&ct= (there are a few numbers that change at the end of that URL) 4. Live.com returns the user a page with more hidden forms to post. The client then posts the values from the form "ANON", the value from the form "ANONExp" and the values from the form "t" to the URL: http ://www.bung ie.net/Default.aspx?wa=wsignin1.0 5. After posting that data, the user is returned a variety of cookies the most important of which is "BNGAuth" which is the log in cookie for the site. Where I am having trouble is on fifth step, but that doesn't neccesarily mean I've done all the other steps correctly. I post the data from "ANON", "ANONExp" and "t" but instead of being returned a BNGAuth cookie, I'm returned a cookie named "RSPMaybe" and redirected to the home page. When I review the Wireshark log, I noticed something that instantly stood out to me as different between the log when I logged in with Firefox and when my program ran. It could be nothing but I'll include the picture here for you to review. I'm being returned an HTTP packet from the site before I post the data in the fourth step. I'm not sure how this is happening, but it must be a side effect from something I'm doing wrong in the HTTPS steps. using System; using System.Collections.Generic; using System.Collections.Specialized; • MATLAB Builder NE crash apppool on IIS 7.5

    - by Alkersan
Im developing a web user interface for MATLAB functions with ASP.NET. Ive started with studying demos and stucked with such problem. I created a MyComponent.dll assembly with deploytool from MATLAB 2010a, target framework - 3.5. This component has one function GetKnot() which returns a figure. function df = getKnot() f = figure('Visible', 'off'); knot; df = webfigure(f); close(f); end Then I made simple webapp in visual studio 2008 sp1, with only one page Default.aspx. I added references to MWArray.dll, WebFiguresService.dll and MyComponent.dll. The codeBehind is: using System; using System.Web; using System.Web.UI; using System.Web.UI.WebControls; using MyComponent; using MathWorks.MATLAB.NET.WebFigures; namespace MATLAB_WebApplication { public partial class _Default : System.Web.UI.Page { protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e) { var myComponentClass = new MyComponentClass(); var x = myComponentClass.getKnot(); //WebFigureControl1.WebFigure = new WebFigure(); } } } When I run this page on Visual Studio`s Development web server - everything is fine, figure works. But when I`m trying to deploy webfigure on my local iis 7.5 which runs on Win7 x32 - iis app pool crashes. There is an entry in System Event Log "A process serving application pool 'Classic .NET AppPool' suffered a fatal communication error with the Windows Process Activation Service. The process id was '3676'. The data field contains the error number 6D000780". This happens when MyComponent is instantiating. What I could forget when moved to IIS? Other examples, like magic square console application, runs perfect, and every matlab component instantiating, but not in IIS environment.

  • Problem with Mapping Linq-to-Sql on different Types

    - by csharpnoob
    Hi, maybe someone can help. I want to have on mapped Linq-Class different Datatype. This is working: private System.Nullable<short> _deleted = 1; [Column(Storage = "_deleted", Name = "deleted", DbType = "SmallInt", CanBeNull = true)] public System.Nullable<short> deleted { get { return this._deleted; } set { this._deleted = value; } } Sure thing. But no when i want to place some logic for boolean, like this: private System.Nullable<short> _deleted = 1; [Column(Storage = "_deleted", Name = "deleted", DbType = "SmallInt", CanBeNull = true)] public bool deleted { get { if (this._deleted == 1) { return true; } return false; } set { if(value == true) { this._deleted = (short)1; }else { this._deleted = (short)0; } } } I get always runtime error: [TypeLoadException: GenericArguments[2], "System.Nullable`1[System.Int16]", on 'System.Data.Linq.Mapping.PropertyAccessor+Accessor`3[T,V,V2]' violates the constraint of type parameter 'V2'.] I can't change the database to bit.. I need to have casting in mapping class.

  • No Source available

    - by Eric
I am not sure what happened or if I did anything.. Now anytime I try and debug it says no source available on all BCL stuff For example, on a debug.print I get that message with Locating source for 'f:\dd\ndp\fx\src\CompMod\System\Diagnostics\Debug.cs'. Checksum: MD5 {40 74 18 44 a8 15 28 2e 54 75 5e 40 d1 5f 6a 0} The file 'f:\dd\ndp\fx\src\CompMod\System\Diagnostics\Debug.cs' does not exist. Looking in script documents for 'f:\dd\ndp\fx\src\CompMod\System\Diagnostics\Debug.cs'... Looking in the projects for 'f:\dd\ndp\fx\src\CompMod\System\Diagnostics\Debug.cs'. The file was not found in a project. Looking in directory 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\VC\crt\src\'... Looking in directory 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\VC\atlmfc\src\mfc\'... Looking in directory 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\VC\atlmfc\src\atl\'... Looking in directory 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\VC\atlmfc\include\'... The debug source files settings for the active solution indicate that the debugger will not ask the user to find the file: f:\dd\ndp\fx\src\CompMod\System\Diagnostics\Debug.cs. The debugger could not locate the source file 'f:\dd\ndp\fx\src\CompMod\System\Diagnostics\Debug.cs'. This happens all the time now and I 1. Don't have an F: 2. Enable .net framework source stepping is unchecked Is there some other sneaky setting to make these messages go away? Regards _Eric

  • WCF selfhosted service, installer class and netsh

    - by jeho
I have a selfhosted WCF service application which I want to deploy by a msi installer package. The endpoint uses http port 8888. In order to startup the project under windows 2008 after installation I have to either run the program as administrator or have to edit the http settings with netsh: "netsh http add urlacl url=http://+:8888/ user=\Everyone" I want to edit the http settings from my installer class. Therefore I call the following method from the Install() method: public void ModifyHttpSettings() { string parameter = @"http add urlacl url=http://+:8888/ user=\Everyone"; System.Diagnostics.ProcessStartInfo psi = new System.Diagnostics.ProcessStartInfo("netsh", parameter); psi.Verb = "runas"; psi.RedirectStandardOutput = false; psi.CreateNoWindow = true; psi.WindowStyle = System.Diagnostics.ProcessWindowStyle.Hidden; psi.UseShellExecute = false; System.Diagnostics.Process.Start(psi); } This method will work for english versions of windows, but not for localized versions (The group Everyone has different names in localized versions). I have also tried to use Environment.UserName to allow access at least for the current logged on user. But this does also not work, because the installer class is run by the msi service which runs under the user SYSTEM. Hence Enviroment.UserName returns SYSTEM and that is not what I want. Is there a way to grant access to all (or at least for the current logged on) user to my selfhosted WCF service from a msi installer class?

  • Castle Windsor using wrong component to satisfy a dependency

    - by Neil Barnwell
    I have the following component mapping in Windsor xml: <component id="dataSession.DbConnection" service="System.Data.IDbConnection, System.Data, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089" type="System.Data.SqlClient.SqlConnection, System.Data, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089" lifestyle="custom" customLifestyleType="MyCompany.Castle.PerOperationLifestyle.PerOperationLifestyleManager, MyCompany.Castle"> <parameters> <connectionString>server=(local);database=MyCompany;trusted_connection=true;application name=OperationScopeTest;</connectionString> </parameters> </component> <component id="dataSession.DataContext" service="System.Data.Linq.DataContext, System.Data.Linq, Version=3.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=B77A5C561934E089" type="MyCompany.BusinessLogic.MyCompanyDataContext, MyCompany.BusinessLogic" lifestyle="custom" customLifestyleType="MyCompany.Castle.PerOperationLifestyle.PerOperationLifestyleManager, MyCompany.Castle"> <parameters> <connection>${dataSession.DbConnection}</connection> </parameters> </component> However, when I ask the container for a DataContext, it actually uses the constructor requiring a connection string, despite the ${dataSession.DbConnection} being an IDbConnection. Why is this, and how to I make Windsor use the correct constructor?

  • Uploadify not working with ASP.NET WebForms

    - by João Guilherme
Hi ! I'm trying to use Uploadify in a ASP.NET webforms project. The problem is that my script is not calling the generic handler. • Excel Plug-In Assembly Loading Problem (Access Denied)

    - by PlagueEditor
I am developing an Excel 2003 add-in using Visual Studio 2008. My add-in loads fine; however, it loads plug-ins from other C# DLL's. I would like this to be done dynamically at run time so referencing them during development is something I would rather not do. Anyways, anytime I try to load a DLL from the Excel add-in at start up, it throws a security exception. This particular example is HTML Agility Pack. It's not a plug-in but a plug-in's dependency. But nonetheless it won't even load: {System.IO.FileLoadException: Could not load file or assembly 'HtmlAgilityPack, Version=1.4.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=bd319b19eaf3b43a' or one of its dependencies. Failed to grant permission to execute. Thank-you to anyone who can give me an answer as to why this is happening or a solution to fix it. Thank-you for your time.

  • How can I use a delimiter in wmic output, separating columns?

    - by Abhishek Simon
I want to fetch Windows Hotfix listing with some format, whose output can be separated with some delimiter. so far I found a wmic command which gives me a desired output but the problem is the \s delimiter is not going to work here. Is there a way I can place some , or anyother character, which I can later use in java program to get individual columns? • why i add more insignificant code but cost less time

    - by user3714382
    i write a method and when i add some insignificant code it works faster, like these : array[1]=array[1]; array[0]=array[0]; array[3]=array[3]; array[2]=array[2]; i use double t=System.currentTimeMillis(); at first to record the time. then call the method and use System.out.println(System.currentTimeMillis()-t); in the end. when i delete the code (array[1]=array[1];...) the cost time is 1035.0 ms,but if i add these code, the cost time become 898.0ms. here is my method and my code. PS:this method is use for the game 2048, exp: {2,2,2,2} trans to {0,0,4,4} static void toRight2(int[] array){ if (array[2]==array[3] ) { array[3]=array[2]*2; if (array[0]==array[1]) { array[2]=array[1]*2; array[0]=0; array[1]=0; }else { array[2]=array[1]; array[1]=array[0]; array[0]=0; } } else{ if (array[0]==array[1]) { array[1]=array[1]*2; array[0]=0; array[3]=array[3]; array[2]=array[2]; }else { array[1]=array[1];//delete this cost more time array[0]=array[0];//delete this cost more time array[3]=array[3];//delete this cost more time array[2]=array[2];//delete this cost more time } } } public static void main(String[] args) { double t=System.currentTimeMillis(); int[] array={1,2,3,3}; for (int j = 2; j <400*1000000; j++) { toRight2(array); } System.out.println(System.currentTimeMillis()-t); }

  • Capture keystrokes (e.g., function keys) while a messagebox is up

    - by FastAl
We have a large WinForms app, and there is a built-in bug reporting system that can be activated during testing via the F5 Key. I am capturing the F5 key with .Net's PreFilterMessage system. This works fine on the main forms, modal dialog boxes, etc. Unfortunately, the program also displays windows messageboxes when it needs to. When there is a bug with that, e.g., wrong text in the messagebox or it shouldn't be there, the messagefilter isn't executed at all when the messagebox is up! I realize I could fix it by either rewriting my own messagebox routine, or kicking off a separate thread that polls GetAsyncKeyState and calls the error reporter from there. However I was hoping for a method that was less of a hack. Here's code that manifests the problem: Public Class Form1 Implements IMessageFilter Private Sub Form1_Click(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Me.Click MsgBox("now, a messagebox is up!") End Sub Private Sub Form1_Load(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles MyBase.Load Application.AddMessageFilter(Me) End Sub Public Function PreFilterMessage(ByRef m As System.Windows.Forms.Message) _ As Boolean Implements IMessageFilter.PreFilterMessage Const VK_F5 As Int32 = &H74 Const WM_KEYDOWN As Integer = &H100 If m.Msg = WM_KEYDOWN And m.WParam.ToInt32 = VK_F5 Then ' In reality code here takes a screenshot, saves the program state, and shows a bug report interface ' IO.File.AppendAllText("c:\bugs.txt", InputBox("Describe the bug:")) End If End Function End Class Many thanks.

  • Conversion failed when converting datetime from character string. Linq To SQL & OpenXML

    - by chobo2
Hi I been following this tutorial on how to do a linq to sql batch insert. http://www.codeproject.com/KB/linq/BulkOperations_LinqToSQL.aspx However I have a datetime field in my database and I keep getting this error. • Axis2 attachments are vanishing in the response

    - by Shamik
I am using axis2 to come up with a basic web service which will get the file name as parameter and produces a response SOAP packet which will have the file attached along with the SOAP. Here is the way I am creating the service code (its simple and inspired by Axis2 sample code) public String getFile(String name) throws IOException { MessageContext msgCtx = MessageContext.getCurrentMessageContext(); File file = new File (name); System.out.println("File = " + name); System.out.println("File exists = " + file.exists()); FileDataSource fileDataSource = new FileDataSource(file); System.out.println("fileDataSource = " + fileDataSource); DataHandler dataHandler = new DataHandler(fileDataSource); System.out.println("DataHandler = " + dataHandler); String attachmentID = msgCtx.addAttachment(dataHandler); System.out.println("attachment ID = " + attachmentID); return attachmentID; } Now The client side code - MessageContext response = mepClient .getMessageContext(WSDLConstants.MESSAGE_LABEL_IN_VALUE); SOAPBody body = response.getEnvelope().getBody(); OMElement element = body.getFirstElement().getFirstChildWithName( new QName("http://service.soapwithattachments.sample","return")); String attachementId = element.getText(); System.out.println("attachment id is " + attachementId); Attachments attachment = response.getAttachmentMap(); DataHandler dataHandler = attachment.getDataHandler(attachementId); Problem is that dataHandler is always null. Though I think at the server side, the file was read and attached along with the SOAP packet. Am I doing something wrong ? EDIT : I have put <parameter name="enableSwA" locked="false">true</parameter> in the axis2.xml file.

  • T-SQL Right Joins to ALL Entries inc Selected Column

    - by Pace
Hi Experts, I have the following Query which produces the output below; SELECT TBLUSERS.USERID, TBLUSERS.ADusername, TBLACCESSLEVELS.ACCESSLEVELID, TBLACCESSLEVELS.AccessLevelName FROM TBLACCESSLEVELS INNER JOIN TBLACCESSRIGHTS ON TBLACCESSLEVELS.ACCESSLEVELID = TBLACCESSRIGHTS.ACCESSLEVELID INNER JOIN TBLUSERS ON TBLACCESSRIGHTS.USERID = TBLUSERS.USERID The output is this; 29 administrator 1 AllUsers 29 administrator 2 JobQueue 29 administrator 3 Telephone Directory Admin 29 administrator 4 Jobqueueadmin 29 administrator 5 UserAdmin 29 administrator 6 Product System 27 alan 1 AllUsers 97 andy 1 AllUsers 26 barry 1 AllUsers 26 barry 2 JobQueue 26 barry 3 Telephone Directory Admin 26 barry 4 Jobqueueadmin 26 barry 5 UserAdmin 26 barry 6 Product System 26 barry 7 Newseditor 26 barry 8 GreetingBoard What I would like to do is modify the query so I get all Access Levels regardless of weather there is an entry for that user. What I would also like to do is some sort of exist case so that I get output like the following; 29 administrator 1 AllUsers True 29 administrator 2 JobQueue True 29 administrator 3 Telephone Directory Admin True 29 administrator 4 Jobqueueadmin True 29 administrator 5 UserAdmin True 29 administrator 6 Product System True 29 administrator 7 Newseditor False 29 administrator 8 GreetingBoard False 27 alan 1 AllUsers True 27 alan 2 JobQueue False 27 alan 3 Telephone Directory Admin False 27 alan 4 Jobqueueadmin False 27 alan 5 UserAdmin False 27 alan 6 Product System False 27 alan 7 Newseditor False 27 alan 8 GreetingBoard False 97 andy 1 AllUsers True 97 andy 2 JobQueue False 97 andy 3 Telephone Directory Admin False 97 andy 4 Jobqueueadmin False 97 andy 5 UserAdmin False 97 andy 6 Product System False 97 andy 7 Newseditor False 97 andy 8 GreetingBoard False 26 Barry 1 AllUsers True 26 Barry 2 JobQueue True 26 Barry 3 Telephone Directory Admin True 26 Barry 4 Jobqueueadmin True 26 Barry 5 UserAdmin True 26 Barry 6 Product System True 26 Barry 7 Newseditor True 26 Barry 8 GreetingBoard True ......................................... So the rules are ALWAYS show ALL Entries for ACCESSLEVELS and where EXISTS in ACCESSRIGHTS produce a true / false to show this. I hope this makes sense and hopefully you dont need the table definitions as everything I need to work with is in the original Query. I just need a way of manipulating it slightly and getting the join in the right place. Thank you. Pace

  • NAudio Mp3 Playback in Console

  • Debugger Visualizer, ElementHost, and Edit and Continue problems

    - by Frank Fella
I recently wrote a custom Debugger Visualizer for Visual Studio 2008 for one of the custom types in my application. The UI for the visualizer is written in WPF and is hosted in an element host and shown using the IDialogVisualizerService windowService object. Everything works great, and my visualizer loads and shows the relevant information, but if try to "edit and continue" in my application after loading the visualizer, Visual Studio crashes with no useful error message. In trying to debug this I removed almost all of my code from the solution to the point where I was only serializing a string with the ObjectSource and displaying just an empty element host and I still get the crash on edit and continue. If I remove the element host and show a WinForms control or form there is no crash. Here is the Visualizer code: using System; using System.Drawing; using System.IO; using System.Runtime.Serialization.Formatters.Binary; using System.Windows.Forms; using System.Windows.Forms.Integration; using Microsoft.VisualStudio.DebuggerVisualizers; using ObjectVisualizerShared; using ObjectVisualizerUI; namespace ObjectVisualizer { public class Visualizer : DialogDebuggerVisualizer { protected override void Show(IDialogVisualizerService windowService, IVisualizerObjectProvider objectProvider) { try { Stream stream = objectProvider.GetData(); if (stream.Length > 0) { BinaryFormatter formatter = new BinaryFormatter(); VisualizerNode node = (VisualizerNode)formatter.Deserialize(stream); if (node != null) { VisualizerWindow window = new VisualizerWindow(node); ElementHost host = new ElementHost(); host.Child = window; host.Dock = DockStyle.Fill; host.Size = new Size(800, 600); windowService.ShowDialog(host); } } } catch (Exception ex) { MessageBox.Show(string.Format("Error!\n{0}", ex), "Object Visualizer"); } } } } Any ideas?

  • high performance hibernate insert

    - by luke
I am working on a latency sensitive part of an application, basically i will receive a network event transform the data and then insert all the data into the DB. After profiling i see that basically all my time is spent trying to save the data. here is the code private void insertAllData(Collection<Data> dataItems) { long start_time = System.currentTimeMillis(); long save_time = 0; long commit_time = 0; Transaction tx = null; try { Session s = HibernateSessionFactory.getSession(); s.setCacheMode(CacheMode.IGNORE); s.setFlushMode(FlushMode.NEVER); tx = s.beginTransaction(); for(Data data : dataItems) { s.saveOrUpdate(data); } save_time = System.currentTimeMillis(); tx.commit(); s.flush(); s.clear(); } catch(HibernateException ex) { if(tx != null) tx.rollback(); } commit_time = System.currentTimeMillis(); System.out.println("Save: " + (save_time - start_time)); System.out.println("Commit: " + (commit_time - save_time)); System.out.println(); } The size of the collection is always less than 20. here is the timing data that i see: Save: 27 Commit: 9 Save: 27 Commit: 9 Save: 26 Commit: 9 Save: 36 Commit: 9 Save: 44 Commit: 0 This is confusing to me. I figure that the save should be quick and all the time should be spent on commit. but clearly I'm wrong. I have also tried removing the transaction (its not really necessary) but i saw worse times... I have set hibernate.jdbc.batch_size=20... i need this operation to be as fast as possible, ideally there would only be one roundtrip to the database. How can i do this?

Hi. I had an old (but great) app using NHibernate 1.0.2. Worked like a charm. But then I decided to upgrade to NHibernate 2.1.2. Had to change some stuff, worked great also. Problem is, I founded out that new version works in some machines and do not work in others. What the heck? Thinking a while, I discovered that it only works in pcs with SQL 2000 installed!! previous version used to works everywhere.... • CSharpCodeProvider 'cannot find metadata file' Compiling Plugin Code With Mono

    - by Jason Champion
I have some code in an XML file that I load and compile at runtime in an application. This works fine on Windows, but under Mono I get assembly reference errors. Here's the examine code in question: public static bool CompileSpell(Spell spell) { CSharpCodeProvider prov = new CSharpCodeProvider(); CompilerParameters cp = new CompilerParameters(); cp.GenerateExecutable = true; cp.GenerateInMemory = true; cp.ReferencedAssemblies.Add("system.dll"); cp.ReferencedAssemblies.Add("system.xml.dll"); cp.ReferencedAssemblies.Add("BasternaeMud.dll"); cp.ReferencedAssemblies.Add("ZoneData.dll"); Log.Trace("Compiling spell '" + spell.Name + "'."); StringBuilder sb = new StringBuilder(); int idx = spell.FileName.IndexOf('.'); string file = spell.FileName; if (idx > 0) { file = spell.FileName.Substring(0, idx); } int lines = GenerateWithMain(sb, spell.Code, "BasternaeMud"); CompilerResults cr = prov.CompileAssemblyFromSource(cp,sb.ToString()); .... The specific errors I get in the compiler results are: cannot find metadata file 'system.dll' at line 0 column 0. cannot find metadata file 'system.xml.dll' at line 0 column 0. Mono obviously doesn't like the way I add referenced assemblies to the code I'm compiling for system.xml and system.xml.dll. The other two assemblies add fine, which is no surprise because they're the code that the compiler is actually executing from and exist in the executable directory. Any clue what I need to do to fix this? Maybe I could just drop those DLLs in the executable directory, but that feels like a dumb idea.
