Tween Animation Cannot Start

Do you have any reasons why my tween code didn't run or work? I already add the tween engine onto the library folder under LibGDX project folder and "Order and Export" it under Java Build Path at the Properties menu. My first two classes ran correctly and workly but my third class didn't work. Here's the sequence: First class is the first screen. Fade animation works on the company's logo. Second class is the second screen. Fade animation for the loading screen works. Third class is the third screen. After the second screen, now calls for the third screen. Animation stopped or won't run since I want the black screen to fade out at the start when the menu is here. Can you check if I did right? Open Multiple Sites Without Reopening the Menus in Firefox

Are you frustrated with having to reopen your menus for each website that you need or want to view? Now you can keep those menus open while opening multiple websites with the Stay-Open Menu extension for Firefox. Stay-Open Menu in Action You can start using the extension as soon as you have installed it…simply access your favorite links in the “Bookmarks Menu, Bookmarks Toolbar, Awesome Bar, or History Menu” and middle click on the appropriate entries. Here you can see our browser opening the Productive Geek website and that the “Bookmarks Menu” is still open. As soon as you left click on a link or click outside the menus they will close normally like before. Note: Middle clicked links open in new tabs. The only time during our tests that a newly opened link “remained in the background” was for any links opened from the “Awesome Bar”. But as soon as the “Awesome Bar” was closed the new tabs automatically focused to the front. A link being opened from the “History Menu”…still open while the webpage is loading. Options The options are simple to sort through…enable or disable the additional “stay open” functions and enable automatic menu closing if desired. Conclusion If you get frustrated with having to reopen menus to access multiple webpages at one time then you might want to give this extension a try. From Eric Lippert's Blog: Here’s a crazy-seeming but honest-to-goodness real customer scenario that got reported to me recently. There are three DLLs involved, Alpha.DLL, Bravo.DLL and Charlie.DLL. The classes in each are: public class Alpha // In Alpha.DLL { public virtual void M() { Console.WriteLine("Alpha"); } } public class Bravo: Alpha // In Bravo.DLL { } public class Charlie : Bravo // In Charlie.DLL { public override void M() { Console.WriteLine("Charlie"); base.M(); } } Perfectly sensible. You call M on an instance of Charlie and it says “Charlie / Alpha”. Now the vendor who supplies Bravo.DLL ships a new version which has this code: public class Bravo: Alpha { public override void M() { Console.WriteLine("Bravo"); base.M(); } } The question is: what happens if you call Charlie.M without recompiling Charlie.DLL, but you are loading the new version of Bravo.DLL? The customer was quite surprised that the output is still “Charlie / Alpha”, not “Charlie / Bravo / Alpha”. Use a Free Tool to Edit, Delete, or Restore the Default Hosts File in Windows

The hosts file in Windows contains mappings of IP addresses to host names, like an address book for your computer. Your PC uses IP addresses to find websites, so it needs to translate the host names into IP addresses to access websites. When you enter a host name in a browser to visit a website, that host name is looked up in DNS servers to find the IP address. If you enter IP addresses and host names for websites you visit often, these websites will load faster, because the hosts file is loaded into memory when Windows start and overrides DNS server queries, creating a shortcut to the sites. Because the hosts file is checked first, you can also use it to block websites from tracking your activities on the internet, as well as block ads, banners, third-party cookies, and other intrusive elements on webpages. Your computer has its own host address, known as its “localhost” address. The IP address for localhost is 127.0.0.1. To block sites and website elements, you can enter the host name for the unwanted site in the hosts file and associate it with the localhost address. Blocking ads and other undesirable webpage elements, can also speed up the loading of websites. You don’t have to wait for all those items to load. The default hosts file that comes with Windows does not contain any host name/IP address mappings. You can add mappings manually, such as the IP address 74.125.224.72 for www.google.com. As an example of blocking an ad server website, you can enter the following line in your hosts file to block doubleclick.net from serving you ads. Hello! At the moment, I try to install Arduino on my Ubuntu 10.04 (32 Bit) computer. I downloaded the latest release at http://arduino.cc/en/Main/Software, cd'ed to the directory and unziped the package. I'm now trying to create a really basic order form that pulls from an XML file to populate the form; there's an image, a title, a price, and selectable quantities. If I was making this form as a static HTML file, I'd have each field named manually and so on postback I could query each field to get the values. But I'm trying to do this dynamically so that I can add/remove items from the form and not have to change the code. In terms of displaying the XML, I rolled my own by loading XmlDocument and using XmlNodeList and a bunch of foreach loops to get things displayed. Then, I learned about <asp:XmlDataSource> and <asp:Repeater>, which made displaying the XML simpler by a large margin. However, I've had a really hard time getting the data that's been submitted on postback (it was implied on SO that there are better ways to get data than nested RepeaterItems). So, what I've learned so far is that you can do things a bunch of different ways in .NET. that's why I thought it'd be good to ask for answers regarding the best way to use ASP.NET to display a XML document and dynamically capture the data that's submitted. Any help is appreciated! I'm using Notepad++ to code .NET 2.0.

Hey, I am getting intermittent issues with my site. Pages often hang with huge loading times and sometimes fail to load. Html5 Input Validation Presentation

Java crashes on lubuntu but not Ubuntu

I have lubuntu and Ubuntu partitions on my drive. I've been having an interesting time with the new lubuntu partition. I've encountered strange things with the game Minecraft, Java and graphics drivers on the lubuntu partition. Firstly, I'll say that Minecraft runs fine at about 60fps on the Ubuntu partition with the latest drivers. (This is lower than it should be as it's a pretty decent graphics card [Radeon HD 5700].) When I first started lubuntu, I tried to see if I could get Minecraft running on Java. Java crashed when loading the main game graphics on both Sun and OpenJDK without proprietary drivers. Java also crashed on both Javas with proprietary drivers after the necessary restart. However, after disabling (with 'remove' button) the proprietary drivers with jockey-gtk in the session after the restart to install the drivers, Minecraft ran very well at ~120fps. This didn't continue after another restart, when it ran at 9fps. After failing thereafter on lubuntu to get it working at 15fps, I tried reinstalling lubuntu and installed the exact same driver (the latest one, not the one appearing on jockey) and Java versions as on Ubuntu. That is, now Ubuntu and lubuntu have the same graphics driver and Java version. Minecraft still crashes in the same way on lubuntu but works fine on Ubuntu. I would appreciate any explanation for any of these events. What differences between lubuntu and Ubuntu could cause this? Edit: After installing the 32bit driver version on lubuntu (seeing as lubuntu is 32bit), I have Java "working" for Minecraft. However, it is at <15fps again and it can't log in to servers as it takes too long.

Motivation for this post was the process of changing my blog theme. When I was trying to change the blog theme, encountered a killing scroll in configuration page of blog. you can see the sample in this picture. (10 inch screen) All I saw in my screen without scrolling was that. I tried to change my blog a few times. but the scroll slows down my try !! after all I gave up changing the FK theme!! In my opinion there is a check list for designing efficient and useful forms.(if you care about it!!) First of all, don’t forget wide range of screen sizes and screen resolutions. Second, always consider the cost of checking the changes made in fields. Third, never forget the scroll. scroll should not hide any main functionality (like save in this case). Forth, don’t use real data to preview the result. (like loading full blog to check new theme) and don’t forget didn’t say this list is a definitive list data entry form usability testing! That’s it! How can I resize a set of sprite images?

Hey StackExchange GameDev community, I'm attempting to resize series of sprites upon instantiation of the class they're located in. I've attempted to use the following code to resize the images, however my attempts have been unsuccessful. I have been unable to write an implementation that is even compilable, so no error codes yet. wLeft.getScaledInstance(wLeft.getWidth()*2, wLeft.getHeight()*2, Image.SCALE_FAST); I've heard that Graphics2D is the best option. Any suggestions? I think I'm probably best off loading the images into a Java project, resizing the images then outputting them to a new directory so as not to have to resize each sprite upon class instantiation. What do you think? Photoshopping each individual sprite is out of the question, unless I used a macro.
