  I need to know how to fix this problem. I have a mouseleave event on my list. jQuery(".list").live("mouseleave", function(event) { alert("Boom"); }); But at the same time I have a tooltip displayed over it. This tooltip doesn't belong to this list, it is in other div. Now, when i move mouse over that div, i get an alert - i left the list. Please, tell me how i can do that when i move mouse in this tooltip, there will be no action. I've tried this sentence, but it doesn't work: if($(event.target).hasClass('name')) alert("D");

• Drupal subscriptions to taxonomy only

  Playing around with the subscriptions module; i have some troubles getting it to send the right notification for right subscription. Here's the situation : I have a content-type of type 'work'; it has a cck-taxonomy field; when creating the content users choses one category in which his 'work' fulfills. In user profil, under Categories (user/3/subscriptions/taxa) I choose two categories, lets say 'house work' and 'car work'. When creating a new 'work' content I do not get the notification. But, when manually select 'content-type' in user's profile of type 'work' I get the notification e-mail but independant to which 'category' i had chosen. This is quite annoying since I only want the user to receive his notifications upon the taxonomy he has chosen, not for every new content of type 'work'. Am I missing something obvious here ?

To cast IList<T> to IEnumerable<T> it is just reference copy: IList<T> l = new List<T>(); IEnumerable<T> e = l; To cast IEnumerable<T> to List<T> we need to iterate each element or to call ToList() method: IEnumerable<T>.ToList(); or may pass IEnumerable<T> to List<T> constructor which doing the same iteration somewhere within its constructor.   Hi, I have two list boxes and some JQuery function that does the following: $(document).ready(function () { //If you want to move selected item from fromListBox to toListBox $("#AddButton").click(function () { $("#fromListBox option:selected").appendTo("#toListBox"); }); }); I have a button that when clicked moves items from one list to another. This works, however when I do "View Page Source" in chrome, the list contains the original list and not the newly added items. I expected appendTo to change the DOM but clearly this is not what is happening. Why is this? JD

  Let's assume I have a database with two tables: categories and articles. Every article belongs to a category. Now, let's assume I want to fetch the latest article of each category that fits a specific criteria (read: the article does). If it weren't for that extra criteria, I could just add a column called last_article_id or something similar to the categories table - even though that wouldn't be properly normalized. How can I do this though? I assume there's something using GROUP BY and HAVING?

• Sorting in Lua, counting number of items

  Two quick questions (I hope...) with the following code. The script below checks if a number is prime, and if not, returns all the factors for that number, otherwise it just returns that the number prime. Pay no attention to the zs. stuff in the script, for that is client specific and has no bearing on script functionality. The script itself works almost wonderfully, except for two minor details - the first being the factor list doesn't return itself sorted... that is, for 24, it'd return 1, 2, 12, 3, 8, 4, 6, and 24 instead of 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, and 24. I can't print it as a table, so it does need to be returned as a list. If it has to be sorted as a table first THEN turned into a list, I can deal with that. All that matters is the end result being the list. The other detail is that I need to check if there are only two numbers in the list or more. If there are only two numbers, it's a prime (1 and the number). The current way I have it does not work. Is there a way to accomplish this? • Routing fails when only category is supplied

  My website uses categories and sub-categories. I'd like the follow mapping: /Category/Fruit /Category/Fruit/Apples But if I use the below: routes.MapRoute( "Category", // Route name "Category/{category}/{subcategory}", // URL with parameters new { controller = "Entity", action = "Category" } // Parameter defaults ); I get a 404 for /Category/Fruit however /Category/Fruit/Apples works ok. I'd like /Category/Fruit to work as well but I can't add another route with the same name. How do I get around this? Thanks in advance.

  I have a class that contains some data: class DATA Now I would to create some functions that uses those data. I can do it easily by writing member functions like DATA::usedata(); Since there are hundreds of functions, I would to keep an order in my code, so I would like to have some "categories" (not sure of the correct name) like: DATA data; data.memory.free(); data.memory.allocate(); data.file.import(); data.whatever.foo(); where memory, file and whatever are the "categories" and free, allocate and foo are the functions. I tried the inheritance way, but I got lost since I can not declare inside DATA a memory or file object, error C2079 occurs: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/9ekhdcxs%28VS.80%29.aspx Since I am not a programmer please don't be too complicated and if you have an easier way I am all ears.

• Cached data accessed by reference?

  I am running into an odd problem, and this is the only thing I can think of. I'm storing a list in cache, and I am randomly losing items from my list as users use the site. I have a class that is called that either goes to cache and returns the list from there, or if the cache is over a certain time frame old, it goes to the database and refreshes the cache. So when I pull the data from cache, this is what it looks like.... results = (List<Software>)cache["software"]; And then I return results and do some processing, filter for security, and eventually it winds up on the screen. For each Software record, there can be multiple resources attached to it, and based on how the security goes they may see some, all, or none of the records. So in the security check it will remove some of those resources from the software record. So my question is.... when I return my results list, is it a reference directly to the cache object? So when I remove a resource from the software object, it is really removing from cache as well? If that is the case, is there any way to not return it as a reference? Thanks!

  I'm aware of why this is happening, but is there any way to do this without having to implement ICloneable or a Copy() method? Preferably .net 2.0, but 3.5 is fine if it is necessary. Essentially I'm trying to implement an undo method. In most cases I can just perform the reverse action in the Undo(), but for others that is not possible. So I want to keep two lists. One for the list of items that I will be modifying, and one for the original, unmodified list of items. This way if I need to do an undo, I just delete the modified items and replace them with the originals. Most of the ways I've tried to assign the _originalItems variable doesn't work, so what would I need to do? public MyClass(List<SelectedItems> selectedItems) { _selectedItems = new List<SelectedItems>(selectedItems); _originalItems = ?? }

In other browsers (except IE) i get area with all needed categories, but in IE i get only new received categories(that just create DomObject), other old objects that keeped old DomObject not show. I know it possible make with innerHTML, but i wont keep DomObject, not text. Because DomObject keep many events. And it very hard for browser attach events for each DomObject after refresh area.

I'd like to get all the entries from the database that are in that table. I have a Person class that is a simple POJO with a property for each column in the table (name, age,..) Here's what I have : Query lQuery = myEntityManager.createQuery("from Person") List<Person> personList = lQuery.getResultList(); However, I get a warning saying that this is an unchecked conversion from List to List<Person> I thought that simply changing the code to Query lQuery = myEntityManager.createQuery("from Person") List<Person> personList = (List<Person>)lQuery.getResultList(); would work.. but it doesn't. Is there a way to do this ? Does persistence allow me to set the return type of the query ? (Through generics maybe ? )
