• Are wrapper classes banned in the iPhone OS Developer Agreement?

  Hey everyone, I am a little confused after reading this thread on the revisions to the iPhone Developer Agreement. While it lists the languages that are permitted, I don't understand what classifies as falling under what is banned. Does this include wrapper classes? What if the code is written in Objective C but is not an official Apple class/library? I'm wondering about things like: Three20 from Facebook SQLite Wrappers such as this one Charting / Graphing Libraries If anyone could clarify this, I'd greatly appreciate it.

• Pango-WARNING **: failed to choose a font, expect ugly output.

  I'm getting this error when starting anything that uses the Pango library. I'm using Kubuntu 9.10. I've done 'sudo apt-get --reinstall install' on libgtk* libcairo* libpango* and fontconfig, with no luck. Could someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

  I could generate DLL and link it to the EXE as follows with Visual Studio (csc) mcs /target:library /out:MathLibrary.DLL Add.cs Mult.cs mcs /out:TestCode.exe /reference:MathLibrary.DLL TestCode.cs But, with mono, I have to give the DLL info as follows. mcs /out:TestCode.exe /reference:./MathLibrary.DLL TestCode.cs <-- Is this expected behavior? Is there any way to use just the name of DLL in mono?

• C++ Linker Error SDL Image - could not read symbols

  Hi, I'm trying to use the SDL_Image library and I've added the .so to the link libraries list for my project (I'm using Code::Blocks, by the way). After doing this, when I go to compile, I get this error: Linking console executable: bin/Debug/ttfx /usr/lib32/libSDL_image-1.2.so: could not read symbols: File in wrong format What does this mean and how can I get it working? • Obtaining the tropicity of an image on the iPhone

  Hello all I was wondering how it's possible to find out if an image in the iPhone photo library is isotropic or anisotropic. Basically how many millimeters each pixel measures in height and in width. In JPG images the information is hardcoded into the data stream so it's possible to do by simply pointing a const char* to the image file, but I'm not sure I can do that with the data the iPhone image returns.   Has anyone measured the rate of submission through a GSM modem? We are implementing a solution at the moment and are only able to submit at a rate of about one message every 3 to 5 seconds. We are not sure if this is a library/api problem or if our modem is just of poor quality. Has anyone had any experience with these devices and measured the throughput rate?

  When using ANT to build my Java application I keep getting this error. I have tried multiple times to use SQLJDBC.JAR and SQLJDBC4.JAR but continually receive this error message. I am completely stumpped why this error is received even after upgrading to sqljdbc4.jar. [javadoc] java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version 1.6 is not supported by this driver. Use the sqljdbc4.jar class library, which provides support for JDBC 4.0.

  Hi all, I am getting an error when I go to start my world. it says that " The procedure entry point OPENSSL_add_all_algorithms_noconf could not be located in the dynamic link library libeay32.dll".I have tried re loading the whole thing, just downloading the dll file, downloading a dll file form the internet but nothing fixes it.   I have downloaded and installed the latest Window V2 Community M06 build of Neo4j on a windows 7 64 bit machine (I have tried the 32bit and 64 bit installs). Installation proceeds without and problems and the system runs normally but there is no /plugins directory (on both versions):- \Program Files (x86)\Neo4j Community\ \Program Files (x86)\Neo4j Community\.install4j \Program Files (x86)\Neo4j Community\bin I am trying to install the Spatial plugin .. so I tried creating the \plugins directory. • Reading Foxpro database date field using PHP

  I've wrote a PHP script to export a Foxpro database to other formats by using ADODB (http://phplens.com/lens/adodb) library to access Foxpro OLE DB provider. Everything worked fine except the date fields are mangled and become like these: 11/17-/2-00 3/4/-20-08 By comparing to actual data I can guess that it is probably in the format of MM/DD/YYYY or m/d/YYYY. How can I properly export the date field?

• Using same name for Core Data object as a Private Framework Object

  Hi all, I've got a core data-based app for iPhone and I'm getting the following warning: objc[2472]: Class Property is implemented in both /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Notes.framework/Notes and /var/mobile/Applications/B69194FF-448F-48AD-A78D-DDB8935F/AmcCalc.app/AmcCalc. One of the two will be used. Which one is undefined. When I started working on this app back with SDK 3.0 I didn't get this error, so how do I deal with this? Thanks! Bjorn
