    Hello everone, I am using preg_match() function only to allow specific charachters to accept. It is allowing all alphabates and numbers but along with that i also want to allow utf-8 characters such as "ÀÁÂÃÄÅÆÇÈÉÊËÌÍÎÏÐÑÒÓÔÕÖ" so how can i allow this charachters from preg_match() function.Plase suggest me.     Hello, I have a php-file which includes another html-file: <? virtual("../top.html");?> The problem is that any code before this include compiles and runs well, after - nothing. There aren't any errors etc. After commenting this line, everything works. Code was written under local computer with ArchLinux + LAMP. Now I have ubuntu 10.04 with the same configuration. What could it be?

    Hello, a relative of mine has a problem. She's working at a company, using Windows 7 and can't set a password because if she's not there her boss might want to use some of her data, but she has suspicions that there is a colleague who spies on her files, because there is no password set for her computer. Does anybody know how can somebody view some kind of history of when was the computer turned on before and what files were opened/runned? Thanksin advance for your answers.

    Hello, I'm building a query with the LINQ dynamic library so I don't know how many potential parameters will I have and I get an error when trying to query DATE type fields: Operator '=' incompatible with operand types 'DateTime' and 'String' When I step through the debugger in the Dynamic.cs it shows that the value is of type string and the field is of type date so the problem is obvious but I have no idea how to approach it. Any ideas? BR

Some examples of the source filenames are: alpha--sometext.381928 comp--moretext.7294058 The resultant files would be renamed as: alpha.sometext.381928 comp.moretext.7294058 The number of characters before and after the -- is not consistant. The script needs to work on current installations of Ubuntu and FreeBSD. These are lean LAMP servers so only the necessary packages have been installed. Thanks
