    I'm newbie with Gstreamer and I'm trying to use it in order to make a RTP session I can make a Gstrtpbin sender and a Gstrtpbin receiver separately but I can not make the same Gstrtpbin as sender and receiver in the same time.     Is anyone aware of a Pascal interpreter/compiler which is embeddable in C++ (or anything else other than Pascal) applications? I am cloning (for lack of a better word) an application which uses an Object-Pascal compatible scripting language and needs to be script compatible. Am I going to end up writing an interpreter? (!)

Other people have reported similar errors with other XML documents. The way I worked around this was to do a StreamReader.ReadToEnd, then do Regex.Replace on the result of that to yank out the script block, before passing the modified string to XmlReader.Create(). Feels like a hack. Has anyone got a better approach? I don't like this because I have to read in a 125k string into memory. Is it valid rss to include "complex content" like that - a script block inside an element? Thanks.

  • MKMapView within UITableView

    I have a MKMapView within a UITableviewCell and I want to be able to disable scrolling of the table view when the user starts to drag within the map view. My plan had been to override the MKMapView touchesBegan/Moved etc methods and if they were called to then disable scrolling in the parent view. Scrolling in the parent view would be enabled again only when the touches in the MKMapView ended or were cancelled. My problem is that the touchesBegan/Moved methods inside MKMapView are not called - the problem is also discussed here: stackoverflow discussion. My table view is within a tab control, so I don't think I can extend UIWindow the way they describe, as there are several views that could be within the window, depending on which tab is active. How can I access the MKMapView touch events please?

  • Bug tracking/ticket systems? What is good?

    Hello, we are looking for a bug tracking software that is suitable for us developers and for our (non technical) end users. We our currently using FogBugz which is very amazing, except for it sucks for the end user support. It could be possible to write a portal/add in for it to do what we want, but it'd still be rather hackish to make FogBugz do something it wasn't designed for. What bug tracking systems out there would you guys recommend? We are looking for something relatively cheap(or free). We are a very small startup (less than 5 people) dealing with 50 or so end users. Any ideas? Also, we do not need extra features like wikis or discussion groups or anything like that. Basically just a way for our end users to submit bugs and support requests, and a way for the developers to keep track of bugs and features.

I've heard may times that one of the reasons PHP is "better" than python is that PHP is more easily scalable, and that Yahoo proves that(assumig Yahoo still uses PHP).     Assume you have a vector like so: v <- c(1,1,1,2,2,2,2,1,1,3,3,3,3) How can it be best reduced to a data.frame like this? v.df <- data.frame(value=c(1,2,1,3),repetitions=c(3,4,2,4)) In a procedural language I might just iterate through a loop and build the data.frame as I go, but with a large dataset in R such an approach is inefficient. Any advice?

  • Breaking a concave polygon into convex ones.

    I'm using a game physics library (Box2D) which only supports convex polygon shapes. However, I'd like the level builder to be able to just specify concave polygons without having to worry about that. So, how can I automatically break apart a concave polygon into convex ones (or even all triangles). Speed would be cool, but ease of implementation is more important. The breaking apart will only be done on game initialization. (My language is Flash/ActionScript 3, but that shouldn't matter)
