    hi i want to include the vedio download option in my webpage. I am using ffmpeg, but it seems to work very slow.     Hi there, I thought hours about that problem but I didn't come to any conclusion. My problem here is that I need a 'Previous' Button added to a form. The user should fill out a formular that is splitted up in 13 parts. Every part is an own formular having a 'Next' button for submitting everything to a database and redirecting to the next page. How do I integrate a 'Previous' button there? ... I don't if it might be usefull for you to know that I'm using cakePHP, and well I'm pretty new to it.

  • php soapclient returns null but getPreviousResults has proper results

    I've ran into trouble with SOAP, I've never had this issue before and can't find any information on line that helps me solve it. The following code $wsdl = "path/to/my/wsdl"; $client = new SoapClient($wsdl, array('trace' => true)); //$$textinput is passed in and is a very large string with rows in <item></item> tags $soapInput = new SoapVar($textinput, XSD_ANYXML); $res = $client->dataprofilingservice(array("contents" => $soapInput)); $response = $client->__getLastResponse(); var_dump($res);//outputs null var_dump($response);//provides the proper response as I would expect. I've tried passing params into the SoapClient constructor to define soap version but that didnt' help. I've also tried it with the trace param set to false and not present which as expected made $response null but $res was still null. I've tried the code on both a linux and windows install running Apache. The function definition in the WSDL is (xxxx is for security reasons) <portType name="xxxxServiceSoap"> <operation name="dataprofilingservice"> <input message="tns:dataprofilingserviceSoapIn"/> <output message="tns:dataprofilingserviceSoapOut"/> </operation> </portType> I have it working using the __getLastResponse() but its annoying me it will not work properly.     Hi, I'm trying to get the users full activity throughout the website. I need to Join many tables throughout the database, with that condition that it is one user. What I currently have written is: SELECT * FROM comments AS c JOIN rphotos AS r ON c.userID = r.userID AND c.userID = '$defineUserID'; But What it is returning is everything about the user, but it repeats rows. For instance, for one user he has 6 photos and 5 comments So I expect the join to return 11 rows. Instead it returns 30 results like so: PhotoID = 1; CommentID = 1; PhotoID = 1; CommentID = 2; PhotoID = 1; CommentID = 3; and so on... What am i doing wrong?

    I have one function on my code. say its xyz(). This function is being called from different files of my project. Is there any way than I can get from where the function is being called. I want below infromation: File name from where its called. Line number of that file. if call is from inside the function then that function name. Class name Class method name. I know about use of magic constants like FILE and all that. but i don't want to pass all that in function call. like below: xyz('msg',__FILE__,__CLASS__); is there any way that i have to pass just my error related data only. and it will find the above details from where the function is called. let me know if anything is not clear.

    i need a pattern which satisfies mysql field names, but also with the option of having a table name before it examples: mytable.myfield myfield my4732894__7289FiEld here's what i tried: $pattern = "/^[a-zA-Z0-9_]*?[\.[a-zA-Z0-9_]]?$/"; this worked for what i needed before, which was just the field name: $pattern = "/^[a-zA-Z0-9_]*$/"; any ideas why my addition isnt working? maybe i'm making up regex, so i'll explain what i added... the first '?' is to say that it isn't greedy, ie. it will stop if the next part, namely "[.[a-zA-Z0-9_]]?" is satisfied. now, that second part is just the same as the first except it is optional (hence the '?' at the end) and it starts with a period (hence the '[.' and ']' wrapping my old clause. and obviously, the "^" and "$" rep the beginning and end of the string so... any ideas? (also, i'm a tad confused as to why i need to put in those "/"s in the begining/end anyways, so if you could tell me why it's required, that'd be awesome) thanks a lot! (and thanks for reading this all if you actually did... it's quite a ramble)

    hi as my client needs, I developed a code to login via cURl. login to www.web1.com and store cookies in cookie.txt go to www.web2.com and browse a page using that cookie.txt no problem with www.web2.com so when i want to do this with www.web3.com, the problem appears. the www.web3.com uses session and cookies itself and I have to gather and use them. it means I should have tow series of cookies, first those from www.web1.com , and second those from www.web3.com , then request the www.web3.com/somepage how I can do that?

    Does anyone know a solution to this problem? I'm unable to open a subdirectory within a symboliclink'd directory. I've confirmed that the paths are correct (even copy & pasted the path into explorer, which parsed it fine). This is a strange, annoying, bug :|. Example: C:\folder\symbolic_link\dir1\dir2 - opening dir2 fails. C:\folder\symbolic_link\dir1 - works C:\folder\real_directory\dir1\dir2 - works C:\folder\real_directory\dir1 - works

Like "Mage, Warrior" etc. I am thinking of a method like have some CharacterBase class (abstract?) and then I have a child class which is like WarriorClass or something like that. I think the approach is called Factory pattern or something like that. Anyone got a clue of what I'm trying to achieve here, and are there perhaps any better way to do this?

    I have a list of items that the user can select. I want it to be more user friendly than standard checkboxes so I have seperate div's each with a unique id. When user clicks an item, I use javascript to display a tick on top of that item and change the style to show that it is highlighted. Im trying to work out how I can pass the list of id's when the form is submitted. Remember, if the user unticks an item, it should be removed from the list, I was thinking of using comma seperated values in a hidden text field but couldnt work out how to remove items from the start of the list if they were deselected
