    How can i generate a list of files in a directory [e.g.: "/mnt/hdd/PUB/"] ordered by the files modification time? [in descending order, the oldest modified file is at the lists end] ls -A -lRt would be great: https://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=AzuSVmrJ but if a file is changed in a directory it lists the full directory...so the pastebined link isn't good [i don't want a list ordered by "directories", i need a "per file" ordered list] os: openwrt..[no perl - not enough space for it :( + no "stat", or "file" command] Thank you!

  • How do I crop an image in the Mac version of Microsoft Word?

    I know how to do it in the Windows version of Word but I can't work out how in the Mac version. In Windows there's a crop tool where you can just drag to move the edges in to crop the image, how do I do that on the Mac? Also on the old version of Windows there was a command to delete the cropped sections of all images in a document to save file space, I can't find that in Word 2007 or Word for Mac.

    I'm looking for a way to take screenshots when I press Ctrl + Prtsc and have them saved as PNG images in C:\Users\Me\Pictures\Screenshots Can I configure Windows 7 to do this? If not, what freeware applications would you recommend (preferably something that I never have to see again (i.e. it sits quietly in the system tray) once I install and configure it)?

  • How do I slow down a video generating new interpolated frames?

    I've used mencoder's speed parameter to generate a video which is played at half the speed. This basically means halving the framerate of the video. But I'm interested in software that could convert a 30fps video to another 30fps video with half the frames interpolated, maybe using the motion information stored in the video stream per se. I think this is called intra-frame interpolation, but I haven't found anything practical other than research papers. Any pointers to such software?

    I imported a .jpg image into adobe acrobat to convert it into PDF form with textboxes and stuff. the scanned .jpg is tilted and has to be rotated 5 deg. anti-clockwise. I know how to do this on image editor like paint.net. But I want to do this on PDF itself. is there anyway to rotate document/images in PDF by any other degree other than 90,180 or 270? thanks in advance

But none of them seem to work for Leopard. Does anyone have a solution to generate a true middle click without an external mouse, under Leopard?

    Is there a recommended filesystem to use when sharing an external drive between the Mac and PC? I understand there are options for Macs to read/write NTFS filesystems and also for PCs to read/write HFS+ filesystems. Is there a preferred filesystem or perhaps a different filesystem that both Mac and PC and read/write? I know I could use FAT32 but some of the files I use are larger than 4 GB (i.e. Virtual Machine images)

Are VMs usually used to run the backbone (actual code) of DFS structure ? I.e. I want to display the actual numerical value (in percent and/or the absolute number) of each box. How can I do that?

    I know Ghost and Clonezilla aren't able to build images of a system while the system is running(Without Rebooting). Haven't Checked on Acronis though, but i don't simpatize with private solutions. Question: Is there a software solution which is able to build a "Live" image?     I want to learn how to use Software Raid 10, is it possible to use VirtualBox by adding four storage images? This is my plan: 4x 100mb partitions (1 on each drive) configured as a raid 1 for /boot in ext3. Then with the remaining space on each drive, setup a software raid partition and configure it to to LVM and raid 10. In the LVM, set up a 4gb swap partition and the remaining space as the root partition ( / ) as ext3.
