• SQL 2005 - Search stored procedures for text (Not all text is being searched)

  The following bits of code do not seem to be searching the entire routine definition. Code block 1: select top 50 * from information_schema.routines where routine_definition like '%09/01/2008%' and specific_Name like '%NET' Code Block 2: SELECT ROUTINE_NAME, ROUTINE_DEFINITION FROM INFORMATION_SCHEMA.ROUTINES WHERE ROUTINE_DEFINITION LIKE '%EffectiveDate%' AND ROUTINE_TYPE='PROCEDURE' and ROUTINE_NAME like '%NET' I know for a fact that these bits of SQL work under most circumstances. The problem is this: When I run this for "EffectiveDate" which is buried at line ~800 in a few stored procedures, these stored procedures never show up in the results. It's as if "like" only searches so deep. Any tips on fixing this? I want to search the ENTIRE stored procedure for the specified text. Thanks!

  Batch file search and replace using wildcards I have a html (txt) file I am using as a template or sourcefile to create further html files.  Filename = pg_0001.htm and it contains a line of code thus: pg_0001.jpg I want to parse the pg_0001.htm sourcefile, increment and replace the jpeg string, like this:  "pg_0002.jpg", and then output the edited htm file to a new filename pg_0002.htm I then take each newly created file (pg_0002.htm, pg_0003.htm etc) as the sourcefile and repeat the processing until I have reached my target goal (let's say 100 newly created htm files containing code to display the corresponding jpeg. It must be done this way (fileX.htm containing fileX.jpg) because there is other javascript that uses these incremented filenames as function input. I used to know how to write incrementing batch files many years ago but I'm old & very rusty now.  Can anyone please help me do this?  Many thanks in advance. regards Harry

  Hi, I need a very fast method to detect if an image is empty. Im my case then all pixels are white and transparant. The images are png's. My current method is to load them in a memory bitmap and check each pixel value, but this is way to slow. Is there a more efficient way? This is my current code: 'Lock the bitmap bits. • Computer Vision Website Image Slideshow help

  Hi, I'm making an online display of the output of a computer vision algorithm. After running the algorithm I am left with a folder of about 1000 16 bit .tiff files. I need to put those on the website in a list for so that the researchers can click through and find the list. Also there needs to be an image frame with an "animated gif" feel that can be started stopped and played in reverse. Any ideas on the best way to do this? What language to use? I made a simple website in Ruby on Rails but I don't know if it has the capabilities to do what I require.

  Hi, Is there any change i can search for anything in the Open Stream in Facebook? Let´s say that i want to look for "obama", this will return all of the obama mentions for a bunch of people in their streams, so far I haven't found anything like this, probably only looking in one user stream, but not the whole stuff. So, i haven't found a way to do this, but how come, sites like socialmention.com can do it? Do they query user by user streams? and how to do it without users permissions? What do you guys think? • WPF: How to efficiently update an Image 30 times per second

  Hello, I'm writing a WPF application that uses a component, and this component returns a pointer (IntPtr) to pixels of a bitmap (stride * height). I know in advance that the bitmap is a 24bits rgb, its width and height. Updating the Image control with these bitmaps makes up a video to the user, but I'm not sure what's the most efficient way to do that, most of the time the CPU usage goes to 75%+ and memory changing from 40mb to 500mb and the nI think GC starts to work and then it drops again to 40mm. The app starts to not be responsive. What shoud I do? thanks!

  I have a tableview with an indexed scrollbar on the right side that shows the letters A-Z and has a magnifying glass icon at the top ({search}). All of the letters in the scrollbar appropriately take the user to the corresponding section except for the magnifying glass, which takes the user to "A" and keeps the searchBar hidden. I just want it to go to the very top of the table so that the searchBar shows up when the user taps the magnifying glass icon in the scroll bar. I've been looking all over for ways to do this, but I can't find any way shy of adding the searchBar to the first tableCell and it's own section, which I'd prefer not to do unless it's the only way. • Add a background image to tables in a navigation view in a tabbed application

  Hi people, I have a tabbed application which then has a navigation controller. In each the navigation controller I an a table View Controller which obviously contains a table. I push a new table view controller from this one. I want to put a background to the table but can only add an image infront of the table. I think this may be because I am adding the sub view in the table view controller, but I don't seem to be able to add it anywhere else. Please could you help me, thanks.

• Paperclip + ImageMagick on Windows 7: Image display fails when I add styles to attached_file in mode

  I'm working with Ruby on rails 2.3.8, NetBeans IDE. I've installed paperclip and I could show/save images successfully. Now, I've installed ImageMagick-6.6.2-4-Q16(for windows 7, 64bits). Until that moment, my model looked like this(and worked fine): has_attached_file :photo Now, after installing ImageMagick, when I add the :style line it fails: has_attached_file :photo, :styles => {:thumb => "100x100#", :small => "150x150>", :large => "400x400>" } and it throws the following error message when I try to upload an image: TypeError in ProfilesController#update backtrace must be Array of String The only thing I'm doing in the update action of that controller is the following: @profile.update_attributes(params[:profile]) @profile.update_attribute(:photo, params[:profile][:photo]) I've also installed miniMagick gem(because I read somewhere I had to do it). What am I missing?

• new image makes http request even though cached?

  I have a javascript slide show that creates the next slide dynamically and then moves it into view. Since the images are actually sprites, the src is transparent.png and the actual image is mapped via background:url(.. in css. Everytime (well, most of the time) the script creates a new Element, Firefox makes an http request for transparent.png. I have a far-future expires header, and Firefox is respecting all other files' expiries. Is there a way to avoid these unnecessary requests. Even though the server is returning 304 unmodified responses, it would be nice if Firefox would respect the expiries on dynamically created images. I suspect that if I injected a simple string instead of using new Element, this might solve the problem, but I use some methods on Prototypes extended Element object, so I would like to avoid a bunch of html strings in my js file. This is a nit-picky question, but I'm working on front-end optimization now, so I thought I would address it. Thanks.

  On my website when the user selects the facebook like button they have the option to enter comments. This popup window to enter comments only contains the users avatar and place to enter comments. How can i include my pic and a brief description of the site directly below the comment??? At first I thought it was from the HTML title attribute or meta property="og:title" ... but populating these have no affect I have another site that contains both pic and a desc below the comment but the pic seems to be grabed at random -but always the same- from the site and the short desc I thought from the -title- attribute but its not - I changed the -title- and it still shows the same desc, its like its cached??? Any ideas how to control or populate a brief description and image within the comment section of a like button???

• wordpress mu image speed problem

  I have an mu install with the typical blogs.dir folder storing files for each blog. When loading these images however they take forever to appear, but they eventually do. It seems that wpmu uses php to serve each image which is ludicrous. When using images from the same domain but in a root folder, the images are displayed quickly. Is there a workaround the blogs.php for rendering files? Could there be something else wrong in the settings of my install?
