    hey Folks, Is there any way in ruby to get the memory address of objects.. say.. (i = 5) is that possible to get the mem address of that object 5.. 'object_id_' is not that satisfying.. I just wanted to know how referencing to objects work on ruby, so i thought address will be useful, to get things done plugin memprof doesnt work on x_32bit, so is there any better way pls help me..., Any answer would be really appreciated... thanks, Regards levirg

What is the best way for me to localize my javascript messages and strings? Ideally, I would like to store the strings in the .resx files to keep them with the rest of the localized resources. I'm open to suggestions.

    Is there any method or plugin available that will alert the user to upgrade an app if the version they are using is not the latest? I suppose I could ping a web service to check what the current version is and compare with the user's version and go from there. As an aside, is there a way to check the current version of the app (some property I don't know about) or do you simply have to hardcode the version as some float variable or something? Thanks

    I have a controller plugin with postDispatch() hook, and there I have a $variable. How to pass this variable to the view instance? I tried Zend_Layout::getMvcInstance()->getView(), but this returns new view instance (not the application resource). The same with $bootstrap->getResource('view'). I don't want to pass it as a request param. Now, as a workaround I do it using Zend_Registry. But, is it the best way?

  • I need help to disable shadowbox from resizing

    This overlay seems to be the only overlay plugin that works within my schools wonky template... but the problem is that when the browser is resized the shadowbox resizes too, clipping the contents inside. I want it so the box stats fixed and if the browser does get smaller the browser will have scrollbars. I know it's been modified before, but i dont know where to start. I cant even find an unminified version of the .js file. Thanks

    I'm trying to use Registration.SensorTypeValue.MAGNETIC_FIELD in SmartWatch's 2 plugin. But values that I received put me into some dissapointed state, cause of few reason: Values is to big (I tested magnetic fields on 3 phones and result is like "-12. , 38, -14", and the watch give me something like "488, 440, -115") Values are almost static, they live in very small range. What's wrong with me or with the watch? I think this question is for Sony support team.

    No, I'm not talking about making a slideshow of pictures. How can I make the actual file that windows (at least windows 7) uses for screensavers? It is a .scr format, and when I opened it in Notepad, I got a bunch of symbols, with a few words scattered throughout, but that was expected.     Is it possible check the Accessibility of a page before loading it? I have a form, running on mobile device using wireless connection. The problem is: not always this connection is avaible and i would like to alert the user when is doing a submit or an unload of the page. The problem is that the page contains elements doing redirect like this: <input type="button" value="MyText" onClick="script1;script2;...window.location='mylocation" /> If the user click on this button and the server is not achievable, i will recive some undesiderable errors.     I have used tinybrowser with tiny mce as a plugin (My panel is php based). When uploading, there is link like this: www.****.com/dashboard/tiny_mce/plugins/tinybrowser/tinybrowser.php?type=image This link can open in all browser without permission. What is the solution in this case? Could I use admin panel's session control in tinyMce plugins?? Thanks in advance
