  • Wanting to edit a google maps info bubble

    I have to edit an info bubble on a website to help someone out. The site is already online and i dont have the ftp login details so i cant download the files and use them locally to test it. So im having some issues with inserting a logo on the top of the bubble, like a header. Im also having problems with the code needed to add 'to here' and 'from here' directions at the bottom of the bubble. Everything else is plain text in the middle of these 2 objects, so thats easy. Can anyone help me with the header pic and directions code?

  • Creating a new coloumn for date info with specific date format

    Dear All I am working with a file which has few years data and I am trying to create an aditional coloumn that reads the year and month info from the date coloumn (e.g. 01/01/1997 12:00) and create a new coloumn with month and year together(e.g. Jan-97).     I have an application which intensively uses DB (SQL Server). As it must have high performance I would like to know the fastest way to insert record into DB.Fastest from the standpoint of execution time. What should I use ? As I know the fastest way is to create stored procedure and to call it from code (ADO.NET). Please let me know is there any better way or may be there are is some other practices to increase performance.

    I'm doing a little digging and looking for a explanation on how SQL server evaluates MIN(Varchar). I found this remark in BOL: MIN finds the lowest value in the collating sequence defined in the underlying database So if I have a table that has one row with the following values: Data AA AB AC Doing a SELECT MIN(DATA) would return back AA. I just want to understand the why behind this and understand the BOL a little better. Thanks!

    I have an intranet server running on a Windows XP computer and the internet connection on it has been known to be pretty unreliable (surprise, surprise) so I was wondering if there was a way to use an AppleScript to poll it every hour or so to see if it is up and running and if it isn't, execute something, like send myself an email.     Hello everyone, I am learning and using SQL Server 2008 new Merge statement, merge statement will compare/operate source table and destination table row by row ("operate" I mean operations performed for when matched or not-matched conditions). Is it possible without looping? Probably not.

    I am trying to insert NULL value in Sql Server if I have null value in corresponding C# String object like below : String Residence = xmlDoc.Descendants("Appointment").Single().Element("StateOfResidence") == null ? null : xmlDoc.Descendants("Appointment").Elements("StateOfResidence").Single().Value; I am using Entity framework for Database access. So if Residence is null, 'NULL' gets inserted into Database instead of NULL. How can insert NULL for null ?

I'm looking for something which behaves similarly to mysqldump, taking a database name, and producing a single script which will recreate all the tables, stored procedures, reinsert all the data etc. I've seen http://vyaskn.tripod.com/code.htm#inserts, but I ideally want something to recreate everything (not just the data) which works in a single step to produce the final script.
