    Is there a way to sort Devexpress QuantumGrid rows on data from a different column other than the one whose header has been clicked? For example, when the header of column A is clicked the rows of the grid are sorted on the data from column B. Visually it should still appear that it is column A that has been sorted as the sort glyphys will be shown in column A's header.

  • Move jQuery data() when an element is destroyed and re-created

    Can anyone think of a (preferably quick) way to move the data() attached to a DOM element to a new instance of itself? The lightbox plugin I'm using deletes and re-appends and element to the page in order to display it in the lightbox (to aviod the multiple-ids issue that ASP.net has), and obviously the .data() that is attached to the element is lost when this happens.

  • Procedure in converting int to decimal data type?

    I have an int(11) column which is used to store money. I read some of the answers on SO and it seems I just need to update it to be a decimal (19,4) data type. Are there any gotchas I should know about before I actually do the converting? My application is in PHP/Zend and I'm not using an ORM so I doubt I would need to update any sort of class to consistently identify the data type.

How to open LPT1 port and send data to? Initially i install database on this pc with some initial data (there are some tables that application uses and the user doesn't touch). We have three ways of saving sensitive data in these packages : not storing them at all storing them with a user key storing them with a password However, each of these options is inconvenient while testing packages saved and committed by an other developer. For each such package, one has to update the credentials, no matter how the sensitive data was persisted. Is there a better way to collaborate on SSIS packages?
