    I have a Macbook, but it's slightly too old to use Mac OS X 10.6's trackpad Chinese input. I have a Wacom tablet, but even though Mac OS X has had tablet character recognition since 10.2 and now knows Chinese characters, they're separate enough that it apparently can't put these two together and read Chinese characters I write on my Wacom. But I'm sure somebody has a way to let me do this. What software do I need to let me write Japanese kanji on my Wacom tablet under Mac OS X?

  • Postfix as mail relay for web servers?

    Hi all, I want to set up Postfix to relay mail from a group of webservers. I would like to limit senders by IP so I can restrict the box to only my webservers, so I don't have an open relay and don't have to worry about authentication. So, what I guess I need is to limit inbound access but allow mail to be sent to any outbound address. I've looked through the docs and don't even know where to start, so any tips would be appreciated. Thanks!

  • What is the most Linux friendly video card chipset/manufacturer on the market?

    I've wasted an absurd amount of time trying to get my nVidia card to function properly in Linux (Ubuntu & Fedora). I've decided to purchase a new video card that will "just work" with any Linux I throw at it. Making things even easier, I'm not a gamer, though I do appreciate some of the 3D or alpha blending effects seen in modern GUIs. What cards and/or manufacturers do you recommend for the maximum acceleration with minimum problems?

  • Windows External Harddisk drive letter after cloning boot partition to it

    I cloned my windows 7 installation on c: to external hard drive. I applied usb patch using pwboot and i could successfully boot into windows. But My problem is even though i am booting in to external hd the file reference and system path is pointing to c: on my internal hard disk. If i remove internal hd and boot it will get stuck at login screen. Is there any way i can force drive letter c: to my boot partition on external hd while booting from it.

    I just accepted that ethernet cables CAT 5 and more must be ended with specific arrangement. I learned when I ending my cables to take attention that either end must be in same arrangement(568A or 568B ). Sometime I get stacked with my fellow servant that they claim that Cable should work if just arrangement at both side are same even if it is not in 568A or 568B layouts. My experience said that it is not true, but I am now looking for some technical argument to prove that.

    I have made a mess of my Dreamhost slice and want to know if there's a way to clean install/fresh install/wipe everything and start over? Is there a shell script to do this or would I have to do it through the Dreamhost admin panel or even contact Dreamhost to get them to do it for me?   • Insertion of rows without changing formulas on anohter sheets

    I have two separate spreadsheets which feed each other (one person completes the main one so all others autofill). I have set up formulas so it autofills but when I insert new lines into the main spreadsheet the other spreadsheet takes information from the wrong line, even though the new data was put in the place of the old data. (The new inserted lines were put in where the data was before). can anyone help me to "protect" the formulas from movement? I will appreciate any help.

The CRM software I am running on this server requires this upgrade or else I probably wouldn't even perform it, because it seems like it's going to be perhaps trickier than I hoped it would be.     I have this command to create a service: sc create svnserve binpath="\"C:\Program Files (x86)\Subversion\bin\svnserve.exe\" --service --root C:\SVNRoot" displayname="Subversion" depend=tcpip start=auto obj="NT AUTHORITY\LocalService" Unfortunately, it seems not to work, even though the syntax is correct. When I run it, I get the usage instructions (which I guess is a way of telling me that I've supplied incorrect arguments, although I have no idea what incorrect argument I might have supplied). Can anyone help me out of my difficulty? Thanks!

I have tried everything, setting it back to python.exe does not work, I even went to Control Panel to see if it could help, but Control Panel couldn't help either. Are VMs usually used to run the backbone (actual code) of DFS structure ?   • Git: push via ssh to a root owned repository with ssh root logins disabled

    is that even possible? Summary, i'm running puppet master on a server and ideally we want root logins via ssh disabled, we want to force all access via sudo if root access required however we have puppet installed using a git repo to manage the manifests, this repo is currently owned by root and currently i only know of 2 solutions (less ideal) allow root access via key auth only - if so, what can i lock it down to to only allow the git push commands? own the repo in /etc/puppet as a different owner - will puppet work reliably with this?

    I fell into a snare when i downloaded and install virtual box 4.0 on my ubuntu 10.4, when i started the virtualbox i tried i saw that my network icon on my desktop showed my red x showing iam disconnected and this happened shortily when i installed virtual box 4.0 I have searched through the web and found some people who have faced some problem. but the solution they gave them i tried but it coudn't work, of restarting,starting ,stoping the netowrk manager, i was even thinking of uninstalling this virutalbox but not netowrk connection truely i need your help
