    Hi all, Let me show you a demo: here it is working for only rows. its not working for cells. i want to change cells' (tds') background colors with mouse clicks. For example: a have a table, and it has 4 tds. table's background color is white. if i click to a td, a td should be red, than if i click to b, b td should be red and a td should be white again. if i click to c than, c should be red and b should be white right now. A - B C - D Can anyone help me?

  • Java ME right to left TextField label

    Hello, I'm writing a Java ME app and i need the label for the text field to be right aligned.. I've tried setting the layout of the TextField to Item.RIGHT but it doesn't seem to affect anything when running on my test phone (Nokia E71). The text inside the TextField is right aligned and Lists and such items are desplayed correctly (RTL aligned) but the TextField label isn't. Any ideas? Thanks.

  • JavaMe Bluetooth service registration

    Hello, I am trying to develope an application that offers a service via bluetooth. Everything works fine in the emulator but as soon I install it on a real device (6120/X6 Nokia) the service cannot be found. If I search for already registered services such as OBEX they are found. So I think it has something to do with the registration.   • cross-platform development for mobile devices

    What language/framework is best worth learning for mobile application development? My specific situation is that I'm very familiar with Java and C++ (I especially love Qt), but have limited experience with other languages. Some options I'm considering: 1) Learn Objective-C and all the iPhone-specific tools I do have access to a mac. The downside here is I'm restricted to the iPhone, so I'd have to rewrite almost everything if I wanted to branch off into another mobile device (or move later to a cross-platform framework). Even after knowing Objective-C, it seems like other frameworks might be more efficient/faster to code in? 2) Use some existing cross-platform framework for development I've looked at rhomobile, but I only have limited experience with Ruby (and at first glance, it might be a little pricey comapred to other options). Appcelerator also looks popular and nice, but it uses html/css/javascript. Airplaysdk looks good, but it's new and I haven't been able to see much written about it (is it worth going for?). 3) Wait for something better to come along How far away is Qt for the iPhone? That would be ideal, but it isn't available now. So what do you recommend? Productivity/efficiency is my top priority, although learning a useful language for the long term would also be okay.   • Is it possible to turn a string with base64 encoded image data into a displayable image in flash lit

    I have tried using a data URI to load the image data into a movie clip, but flash lite does not appear to support the data URI scheme. I also thought it might be possible to base64 decode the image data and write it out to a file and load the file back into the movie clip using the file URI scheme. However, I do not see a way to write to the filesystem in the documentation. Am I missing something in the flash lite docs that would allow me to write to the filesystem?

  • Broadcast message or file to nearby Bluetooth devices

    Hiya, A client of ours is attending a business fair and would like to push some sort of "welcome message" to people visiting their space. I'm not too familiar with Bluetooth, so I have a few questions: What kind of content can you transfer via Bluetooth? (Is it files only or is it possible to send a simple text message?) Is it possible to push content only to recipients within a certain distance? (ie. based on signal strength or similar) Can anybody recommend a piece of software that can do some or all of the above? If necessary we could program a custom solution ourselves (.NET), but I'm sure there must be a program out there that can do the job. I've googled a bit and came across the 32feet.NET framework - does anybody have any experience with this framework? Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

I know latency over local wifi is probably fine but what are the issues with latency over GPRS/3G? I've searched and the best I've seen is someone saying it was 'high', without presenting any concrete numbers. I suppose latency fluctuations are important as well - does anyone have any info on this?

    hello all, i want to do a simple function in a module in excel vba, so i can use it as a custom function in excel. (i use excel 2003, or 2007 , it's doesnt matter) i create a function(!) in a new workbook and it's looks like this: Function a() Sheets(1).Range("A1").Value = 4 end function but when i try to use it on the sheet1 it's wont work! i tried many things. how can i make this work (with no workarounds, i want to use it as a custom function) ? please help. thanks, gadym

    I would like to create a location-aware application on WP7.5 Is it possible to automatically get a trigger on location change without our application running on background? For example: I would like to know if a user has moved in a new location. If the user has moved I would like to trigger a specific event from my application. My only concern is that if I do that from my application I will consume a significant amount of battery. Is it a specific WP7 service which can inform my application that the user has changed his location and trigger an event from my application? If it is possible can you please point me an example?
