    This error just started happening this morning in one particular project. When I try to publish the site it gives me this error and I can't complete the publish! Sometimes restarting Visual Studio magically fixes the problem, but it will just appear again later. Not only that, when I restart VS I lose all my "undo capabilities". There is a KB article on the subject, but it did not help. What can I do to stop this very annoying problem once and for all?

  • UINavigationController doesn't fully push view and only changes the Navigation toolbar to the next v

    So I have an iPhone application that utilizes a UINavigationController for setting up the views. When the application first starts, it presents the user with a UITableViewController and the user can select an item and it will push another view. Now I have it set so that my app remembers the user's last selection and automatically selects it and loads the correct view controller. The only problem is that I am experiencing a really weird glitch when I load the next view automatically.. When the view is pushed, the navigation toolbar will change so that a back button directed to the previous view is showing but it won't display the next view. It will instead keep showing the table view and I can interact with it as well. I can press the back button and it will change the toolbar back and the tableview is still shown. Then when I select an item it loads the view just fine. Thanks for the help.

  • pyplot.scatter changes the data limits of the axis

    I have some code which plots some points. I substituted ax.scatter for ax.plot so I could control the color of each point individually. However when I make this change the axis x and y ranges seem to increase. I can't pinpoint why this is happening. The only thing I've changed is plot to scatter. This code makes an axis that is too big ax.scatter(x, y, c=color_list, s=pts_size, marker='o', edgecolor='none') #ax.plot(x, y, linestyle='None', marker='o', markerfacecolor=pts_color, markersize=pts_size, markeredgewidth=0) This code does the right thing (but I can't control the color) #ax.scatter(x, y, c=color_list, s=pts_size, marker='o', edgecolor='none') ax.plot(x, y, linestyle='None', marker='o', markerfacecolor=pts_color, markersize=pts_size, markeredgewidth=0) Is there a way I can call scatter such that it doesn't mess with my current axis limits?

    I have a function that grabs an XML document and transforms it according to an XSL document. It then places the result into a div with the id laneconfigdisplay. What I want to do is, separate to the transformation logic, setup a jQuery change event for that div so I can tell when it has changed, and run some jQuery code.   • SVG text - total length changes depending on zoom

    In SVG (for web-browsers), if i add a <text>-element and add some text to it the total rendered width of the text string will change depending on the scale of the text. Lets say i add "mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmA" as text, then i want to draw a vertical line(or other exactly positioned element) intersecting the very last character. Works fine but if i zoom out the text will become shorter or longer and the line will not intersect the text in the right place anymore. The error can be as much as +/- 5 characters width which is unacceptable. The error is also unpredictable, 150% and 160% zoom can add 3 characters length while 155% is 2 charlengths shorter. My zoom is implemented as a scale-transform on the root element of my canvas which is a <g>. I have tried to multiply the font-size with 1000x and scale down equally on the zoom-transform and vice versa in case it was a floating point error but the result is the same. I found the textLength-attribute[1] which is supposed to adjust the total length so the text always end where i choose but it only works in Webkit. Firefox and Opera seems to not care at all about this value (haven't tried in IE9 yet). Is there any way to render text exactly positioned without resorting to homemade filling of font-outlines?   • Synfony2 validation changes invalid integer to 0

    I've added validation to a form and found that in some cases it is losing the invalid data I am feeding it and saving 0s instead. The output at the bottom shows that if I post the latitude as 'zzzzzz' (clearly not a number nor between -90 and 90) the form is declared as valid and saved with the value 0 How can that happen given that I have declared the input must be a number?     A view is flipped using this: self.transform = CGAffineTransformMakeScale(-1, 1); // self is an UIView To rotate this view: -(void)handleRotate:(UIRotationGestureRecognizer *)recognizer { recognizer.view.transform = CGAffineTransformRotate(recognizer.view.transform, recognizer.rotation); recognizer.rotation = 0; } The issue is that after the view is flipped so is the rotation's direction. Any solution how to fix this? Edit: My current solution is using a boolean and negate the recognizer.rotation value in handleRotate method. But I am still looking for the technical solution.

What I want is next to each item a link to change the status of that item. So it might look like this: A nice item - Enable Another pretty item - Disable I can't think of how to make the link work.     I will be more clear. What I want to realize is the following: In a JSP x I have a 3 dropdownlists and a button called edit when user click this button a table dynamically should be displayed. Now this table is modified correponding the values in those 3 ddl. So it can be 3 cols or 4 cols or even 6 cols it depends on the selected values. So what I tried is to use the servlet to getParameter doing the if clause construct the html and then forward the response.Have you any the suggestion of the structure that I can use. Think you.

    Hi, I have a table of venues, with each venue belonging to an area and a type. I recently dropped the table and added to it some addressline fields. I have re-migrated it but now the area_id field saves as a random? 9 figure number. Both the area_id and venuetype_id integers are created in the same way from the create new form and the venuetype_id saves as normal but not the area_id.   • android drawable changes sizes on screen when reading image from file

    Hi I have an image on a private file. I read the file, create the drawable, and assign it to an ImageView. The ImageView has WRAP_CONTENT so the size is automatic. On 320x480 screens, the image looks good But on screens with more resolution and high density 480x800 or 480x854 (N1, droid) , when the image is for example 150x150, I see the image as 100x100. Of course it has something to do with the density but not sure how should I resolve this.   • Java swing doesn't show changes to source

    I'm using Java Swing graphical editor with netbeans to make my project...but using it brings some limitations like I can't add to a jpanel an image,using java swing options. So i'll need to code it, implementing a new jPanel. My problem is that the code generated by the java swing graphical editor can't be edited so instead of adding the new JPanel code in the initComponents() section I'm doing it after this function is called in the constructor of my main JPanel. But any code I add is not recognized by the "Designer" which means that after making my coded objects I can't use them in the "Designer" and everything must be coded, which is a pain considering how much easier is previewing and moving elements in the "Designer" tool. How can I code what I want but steel appear in the "DEsigner"? Thx in advance

    I just got Scott Hanselman's chat app with SignalR working with ASP.NET MVC 4. After hours of configuration, trial and error, and getting different versions of Windows to talk to each other on my home network, it's all working except that I'm left with one issue that I'm not sure how to handle. This line of javascript has to change, depending on if I'm running the app through Visual Studio or the published (IIS) version: Works when running within VS: var connection = $.connection('echo'); Works with published version: var connection = $.connection('ChatWithSignalR/echo'); When I run within VS, the URL is: http://localhost:9145/ And the published version is: http://localhost/ChatWithSignalR If I don't change that line of code, and try to run the app within VS, using the javascript that has ChatWithSignalR in it, I get an error like this: Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) http://localhost:9145/ChatWithSignalR/echo/negotiate?_=1347809290826 What can I do so that I can use the same javascript code and have it work in both scenarios? var connection = $.connection('??????'); Note, this is in my Global.asax.cs: RouteTable.Routes.MapConnection<MyConnection>("echo", "echo/{*operation}");

  • PHP PDO changes remote host to local hostname

    I'm trying to connect to a remote mysql server using PDO. However, regardless of the hostname or ip address i supply in the dsn, when the script is run it always reverts the address to the hostname of the local server where the webserver is running. Google suggests this could be something to do with SELinux and apaches ability to connect to remote databases, however i have SELinux disabled. Distro: Ubuntu 11.04 x64 Apache version: 2.2.17 PHP Version: PHP 5.3.5-1ubuntu7.11 with Suhosin-Patch (cli) Edit: Added code as requested.   • Make network changes permanent - C++

    I need to allow an external client to change the IP of the Linux machine where the program is running (C++). I already know how to list all the local interfaces and the current IPs assigned to them. I also know how to programatically change said IPs. What I need to know is how to make this change permanent so, if the machine reboots, it keeps the same network configuration. What's the best way to do this? Manually parsing /etc/network/interfaces? Calling some linux command? Edit: I'm using Debian. Thanks!

    I am writing a linux kernel module that needs to pin two threads on two different cpus. I am planning to use sched_setaffinity() after exporting it in the kernel. Is there any other exported function for the same ? Also, if I set only 1 CPU in the cpumask, will the thread be moved to that cpu with immediate effect ? If not, how do I enforce the same ? Will it help to call schedule() just after sched_setaffinity() ?
