• How do I include external Libraries in CodeIgniter?

  I'm new to codeigniter, and I'm trying to integrate amazon's FPS into my page. There are a bunch of libraries and models that go with Amazon FPS, which I would need included to make the appropriate calls. How do I include them in CodeIgniter? I tried placing the entire Amazon folder inside the system/libraries directory, and then tried including libraries with $this-load-library( 'Amazon/FPS/Client' ); However, I run into problems with the relative path there, because Client.php contains the statement require_once ('Amazon/FPS/Interface.php'); ... which is in the same folder. There has to be a better way to do all this - can anyone please help? Thanks!!

• How to include simple collections in ConfigurationSection

  Is there a way for me to include a simple array of strings, or List<string> on my custom subclass of ConfigurationSection? (Or an array or generic list of simple data objects, for that matter?) I'm becoming familiar with the new (and VERY verbose) ConfigurationSection, ConfigurationElement, and ConfigurationElementCollection classes, but I'm by no means an expert yet. It seems like ConfigurationSection should handle simple collections/lists on its own, without me having to create a custom ConfigurationElementCollection subclass for each and every one. But I haven't found any reference to this ability online.

  I have setup the combination Codeigniter + HMVC + Twitter Bootstrap using this tutorial. I have created two modules named app and session. The app module contains the twitter bootstrap sample. When I click on About link, a new login page is displayed which is the session module configured using <?php echo Modules::run('session/session/index'); ?> The problem I am facing is that when I include the twitter bootstrap in both the views, the app module gets realigned and corousal doesnt work. How do I get the CSS to work with the session module ?

  How can I import all files and classes into my AIR bundle... it must take a note that I created first a flex project, and set it's main class as Actionscript (.as) . This is in the head of a HTML document.) I've been looking at some HTML recently and I've noticed this a few times (all on the one site). I can't think of any reasons why you would do it like this, but I can hardly claim to be a web developer. It's likely that these lines of code are automatically generated, but still, someone somewhere must have thought this was a good idea.

  Hi, I am trying to include jpeg files in latex \includegraphics[width=57.6mm, height=43.2mm]{../../results2/html/zerooneloss_stumps.jpg} With specified the width and height and compiled with pdflatex, however, it produces the error: ! LaTeX Error: Cannot determine size of graphic in ../../results2/html/zerooneloss_stumps.jpg (no BoundingBox). The true size of the image is 576x432 in pixels. Have I specified the size correctly in the latex file? Anyway to use the default setting without need to specify the width and height? If I don't specify the them in the latex file, \includegraphics[]{../../results2/html/zerooneloss_stumps.jpg} I still get the same no BoundingBox error. Thanks and regards!

• Designing a recipe database that needs to include ingredients as well as sub-recipes

  I am designing a recipe database that needs to be very flexible as it is going to be communicating directly with our back-of-house inventory system. This is what I have so far in regards to the tables: Recipe: this table will contain the recipe date: the name, steps needed to cook, etc. Ingredients/Inventory: this is our back of house inventory, so this will have the information about each product that will be used in our recipes. Recipe Line Item: This is the tricky table, I want to be able link to the ingredients here as well as the quantity needed for the recipe, but I also need to be able to directly include recipes from the recipe table (such as marinara sauce that we make in-house), and that is why I am having trouble figuring out the best way to design this table. Basically, the recipe line item table needs to be able to link to either the ingredients table or the recipe table depending on which line item is needed and I want to know what would be the most effective way to handle that. • #include <string> adding ~43 KB to my exe

  I'm using Code::Blocks to write my program and when I include <string> (or <iostream>) the size of my exe grows. My program is very simple and I need to keep it small <20kb. I'm pretty sure this is happening because of the C++ Standards Committee swapped the old .h versions for many new libraries without the .h. But how would I keep it from adding the ~43kb? Are there settings for Code::Blocks so that it wont add the extra kb or is there another native lib I can use?

  I have a note class that belongs to a user (ie a user can create many notes). clip from my notes controller class NotesController < ApplicationController before_filter :authenticate_user! respond_to :html, :xml, :json # GET /notes # GET /notes.xml def index @notes = Note.includes(:user).order("created_at DESC") respond_with @notes end When I ask for the index in json results for example /notes.json, it returns the notes but only returns user_id for the user object. I would like it to also include user.username (and would be curious how to have the whole user object embedded). Bonus question: I could not find a way to make the column show as author_id and have it relate back to user. If this is easy to do, how do you do it?

  Hello, I have a User model as illustrated below: class User < ActiveRecord belongs_to :college belongs_to :class_level end I want to ALWAYS join with those other two tables returning one simplified User object. How do I accomplish this in my User model. I'm aware that I can do this in another model: class Foo < ActiveRecord has_many :users, :include => [:college, :class_level] end But I want to do this in my User model, so Foo.users will either be eager loaded OR be joined already. Is there a way to create an initialize this in the User model?

  Hi, I'm new to Java (C++ guy myself) and am trying to compile a simple program (testing different random number algorithms) in Java. I have an interface that I want to use to implement another class with, both of these items are in the same package. So I have two files right now in my "Random" package directory--"RandomInterface.java" and "RandomTest1.java" (which implements RandomInterface). I can use javac to compile RandomInterface.java just fine, but I get the following error when I then try to compile RandomTest1: RandomNew.java:3: cannot find symbol symbol: class RandomClass public class RandomNew implements RandomClass ^ 1 error I declare both files to be part of the same package (Random) as the first line of each file. What do I need to do to include the RandomInterface class into the compile command for RandomTest1? Thanks!

  I have a sentence and correction model class Sentence < ActiveRecord::Base has_one :correction class Correction < ActiveRecord::Base belongs_to :sentence and I'm trying find all sentences which don't have a correction. To do this I'm simply looking for corrections which don't exist i.e. whose id = nil. But it is failing and i can't figure out why Sentence.find :all, :include => :correction, :conditions => {:correction => {:id => nil}} Perhaps its the syntax or maybe just the overall approach. Can anyone help?

• Not able to include ntifs.h in win32 project

  I tried to use the function called NTCreateFile. When I compiled it gave me an error saying "_NTCreateFile identifier not found". I inlcuded the header winternl.h. So next I tried to use ZwCreatFile, as per MSDN I included ntifs.h, but I am not able to include that header. It says "not able to open/find the directory". I am using V@2008. What is the problem? Am I missing anything?

  Hello, Form is 'get' to a API which operates off of querystring. One of the parameters is a PackageID which indicates a vacation package. In order for the packageID to appear I also need to append '#packages' to the end of the get request. Since not all form 'get' have a package I need this to be dynamic. I've tried adding a hidden field with '#packages' as the value - however the '#' is automatically encoded and therefore not registered when the server grabs the URL. What would be the best way for me to dynamically include '#packages' as it appears in the querystring via javascript? Thanks!

  Let us say I have a model Post which belongs to a User. To convert to json, I do something like this @reply.to_json(:include => {:user => {:only => [:email, :id]}, :only => [:title, :id]) However, I want to set some defaults for this so I don't have to specify :only everytime. I am trying to override as_json to accomplish this. When I add as_json in User model, it is called when I do @user.to_json but when user is included in @reply.to_json, my overriden as_json for User is ignored. How do I make this work? Thanks

ViewGroup currentPersonContainer = (ViewGroup) root.findViewById(R.id.propria_pessoa_container); if (dto.occupation!= null) { . . . } else { root.removeView(currentPersonContainer); } After the root.removeView(currentPersonContainer); I can still find it in root and the view is still visible. How can I remove a view included in a xml layout resource file?

I can't add by 1 because my for-loop looks like: for x in range(1,math.floor(math.sqrt(x))): y = math.sqrt(n - x * x) But as I understand it will actually be 1 < x < M where I need 1 < x <= M Adding 1 will completely change the result.   If I'm not wrong, because of its nature in factory method there is cyclic dependency: Base class needs to know subclasses because it creates them, and subclasses need to know base class. Having cyclic dependency is bad programming practice, is not it? Practically I implemented a factory, I have problem above, even I added #ifndef MYCLASS_H #define MYCLASS_H #endif I'm still getting Compiler Error C2504 'class' : base class undefined And this error disappers when I remove subclass include from base class header.
