Must attach to the property Width, what I'm doing this: <ColumnDefinition Width="{Binding Path=TabPanelWidth, RelativeSource={RelativeSource TemplatedParent}}" /> - public float TabPanelWidth { get {return (float) GetValue (TabPanelWidthProperty);} set {SetValue (TabPanelWidthProperty, value);} } public static readonly DependencyProperty TabPanelWidthProperty = DependencyProperty.Register ("TabPanelWidth", typeof (float), typeof (BivTabControl), new UIPropertyMetadata (null)); But vozmozhnast need to set not only fixed values, but still a value of type: Auto, 0.5 *, and the like. • Force lowercase property names from Json() in ASP.NET MVC

    - by kouPhax
Given the following class, public class Result { public bool Success { get; set; } public string Message { get; set; } } I am returning one of these in a Controller action like so, return Json(new Result() { Success = true, Message = "test"}) However my client side framework expects these properties to be lowercase success and message. Without actually having to have lowercase property names is that a way to acheive this thought the normal Json function call?

  • Value Object and View Model Property

    - by William
I am working on a solution that used DDD for architecture. I have a property in my ViewModel which points to a ValueObject, the view model also implements INotifyPropertyChanged interface. The value of the ValueObject will change as a user enters data on the front end. The problem I am running into is the value object is suppose to be immutable. How can I work around this issue? Thank you in advance.

  • Quote marks in controls' property in ASP.NET markup

    - by abatishchev
Sounds dummy but I can't set to a server-side control's property a value contains quote marks ": <asp:CompareValidator ErrorMessage="Curreny-from can't be equal to currency-to" runat="server" /> I need to quote "from" and "to". I tried escaping \"from\" and double quote marks ""from"" - both doesn't work. How to do that?

  • multiple validation errors showing up for single property

    - by Dave K
i'm often getting multiple errors showing up for an individual property, when I'd like them to be prioritized, as in, if Required is satisfied, check StringLength, but if Required fails, show that message only. I'm getting inconsistent behavior here, and I'm curious as to how the framework determines this priority? has anyone else had problems with this? Thanks!

  • How to return a property name when comparing two properties at class-level

    - by CodeMonkey
Hi I have implemented an 'EqualTo' Validation Attribute, that compares two Properties of an object, during ModelBinding in ASP.NET MVC 2. The problem I have is not with it not working, because it does work. The problem is, when I do my request - which is an ajax request - I get back errors to my front-end, where it sets a class on the input fields to indicate invalid input. What it does is iterate through a list of Errors (in a JsonResult), and set a class. This is all dandy. But the ValidationAtrribute I am having trouble with is set at a Class-level, i.e., it's not like other ValidationAttributes where you set something like "[Required]" or something like that. [AttributeUsage(AttributeTargets.Class, AllowMultiple=true, Inherited=false)] public class EqualToAttribute : ValidationAttribute { public String SourceProperty { get; set; } public String MatchProperty { get; set; } public EqualToAttribute(string source, string match) { SourceProperty = source; MatchProperty = match; } public override Boolean IsValid(Object value) { Type objectType = value.GetType(); PropertyInfo[] properties = objectType.GetProperties(); object sourceValue = new object(); object matchValue = new object(); Type sourceType = null; Type matchType = null; int counter = 0; foreach (PropertyInfo propertyInfo in properties) { if (propertyInfo.Name == SourceProperty || propertyInfo.Name == MatchProperty) { if (counter == 0) { sourceValue = propertyInfo.GetValue(value, null); sourceType = propertyInfo.GetValue(value, null).GetType(); } if (counter == 1) { matchValue = propertyInfo.GetValue(value, null); matchType = propertyInfo.GetValue(value, null).GetType(); } counter++; if (counter == 2) { break; } } } if (sourceType != null && matchType != null) { return sourceValue.ToString().Equals(matchValue.ToString()); //return Convert.ChangeType(sourceValue, sourceType) == Convert.ChangeType(matchValue, matchType); } return false; } private object _typeId = new object(); public override object TypeId { get { return this._typeId; } } } Now this code works, except for the fact that the validation process does not return which Property failed. And I simply can't figure out how to make it return one of the two. In reality I don't care which one it returns.. because both are failing.. Do you have an idea how to make it return the/or both Property/Properties that is/are failing.

  • Unable to get value of property 'keyCode': object is null or undefined : Internet Explorer

    - by user1409232
One of the customers are facing difficulty while logging into our webiste, whenever the user types the first character in UserName text box on the sign in page, he gets below JavaScript error message. Unable to get value of property 'keyCode': object is null or undefined We do check for event.keyCode to validate the userName textbox , so as soon as the user types the first character we send the event.keyCode for validation which is failing. The browser is internet Explorer 9 and we are not able to reproduce the problem in our workstation which has I9

  • Current / Context property in class

    - by richard-heesbeen
Hi, I would like to implement an current property in my class which returns the current active context of the class (much like httpcontext.current etc.), like so: using(classA x = new classA(..)) { classB.Dosomething(); } where the method dosomething() gets the current context of classA to perform some operation. How would i go about creating such functionality? Greetz, Richard

  • How to use java property files?

    - by Click Upvote
So I have a list of key/value pairs of configuration values I want to store as java property files, and later load and iterate through. Questions: Do I need to store the file in the same package as the class which will load them, or is there any specific location where it should be placed? Does the file need to end in any specific extension or is .txt ok? How can I load the file in the code And how can I iterate through the values inside?
