    I have a Groovy application. I am rendering the view list using the following statement: render (view: 'list', model:[reportingInstanceList: reportingInstanceList, reportingInstanceTotal: i, params: params]) The list.gsp is as follows: The view is rendered but the default sorting is not working. <g:sortableColumn class="tabtitle" property="id" title="Id" titleKey="reporting.id" /> <g:sortableColumn class="tabtitle" property="company" title="Company" titleKey="reporting.company" /> Unfortunately the default sorting (by id, by company, etc) are not working.   • onItemClick gives index/ position of item on visible page ... not actual index of the item in list .

    hi, I am creating a list .. the elements of the list are drawn from sqlite database .. I populate the list using ArrayList and ArrayAdapter ...upon clicking the items on the list I want to be able to fire an intent containing info about the item clicked ... info like the index number of the item .. using the method : onItemClick(AdapterView av, View v, int index, long arg) I do get index of the item clicked . however it is of the list currently displayed . the problem comes when I do setFilterTextEnabled(true) , and on the app type in some text to to search some item ..and then click it ..rather than giving me the index of the item on the original list it gives me the index on filtered list.. following is the snippet of code: myListView.setOnItemClickListener(new OnItemClickListener() { public void onItemClick(AdapterView<?> av, View v, int index, long arg) { Intent lyricsViewIntent = new Intent(iginga.this, LyricsPage.class); lyricsViewIntent.putExtra("title", songList.get((int)arg).getTitle()); lyricsViewIntent.putExtra("id", songList.get((int)arg).getSongId()); startActivity(lyricsViewIntent); } }); myListView.setTextFilterEnabled(true); Is there any way I can get the original index /position of the item instead of the one showing in filtered text ...when filtered.

Data Rows: Will be added Asynchronously. Will be grouped by a Common Category column. Will add a Dynamic Category if it does not yet exist. Will add a Type Column if it does not yet exist within its appropriate Dynamic Category.     Hello, I have a program that displays a list (a TableView). When the user clicks an item, it's detail is shown. On the detail view, the user can ask to modify it so a modify window is shown. Here, the user can ask to delete the item. I would like at this time return to the list with the item deleted from the list and from the data source. There may be thousands of methods to do this, but I wonder which is the best / good one. Could you help me, and/or give me a good reference to read about this ? Thank you.

  • custom Filter Android won't show me the results

    Hi, I have been implementing a class which class extends ArrayAdapter and implements Filterable. The filtering part (in the performFiltering method()) seems to go ok, it fills the FilterResults object just as expected. But then I think I'm not doing it right on how to publish the results, atm I have : protected void publishResults(CharSequence prefix, FilterResults results) { // NOTE: this function is *always* called from the UI thread. subItems = (Vector)results.values; notifyDataSetChanged(); } But this simply won't "populate" my List with the received data. So now my question is how do I populate my List with the received results ? Do I have to do that programmatically ?

    I'm quite new to QT and I have to display a list of "panels" like this: My datamodel handles different classes' instances, so having more than one panel layout would be great - but it's not a requirement. Btw I have to catch mouse clicks on the images to execute related actions. I'm thinking about use some html capable widget (QWebPage?) to render the items in a QListView or QListWidget, but as I said, I don't know QTs so much and need a direction (delegates? stylesheets?). Any help will be appreciated.

    I have two tables one is members table with columns member id , member first name, member last name. I have another table guest passes with columns guest pass id and member id and issue date . I have a list view that will displays guest passes details (I.e) like member name and issue date and I have two text boxes those are for entering member name and issue date . member name text box is auto complete text box that working fine.... but the problem is when I am entering the name that is not in member table at this time it will accept and displays a blank field in list view in member name column and member id is stored as "0" in guest pass table ...... And also if the value is not selected am getting the first value id by using $("#cnty1").val(); So, please suggest me a solution so that, 1) I should get only the Selected value and 2) Value of the dropdown list Only if the user selects a value from the list, but don't get the value of the list without selecting.

  • ImageViews in a ListView not aligned vertically [Mono for Android]

    I'm very new to developing apps to android, so bear with me. Having said that, I'm trying to make a list with a image to the left and a title and description to the right of the image. The image is downloaded from the web in the background and then set in the UI as they complete. This all works. However, the images are not aligned properly and I simply cannot understand why. I'm thinking it has something to do with the layout defined in the xml file? I tried using android:layout_alignParentLeft="true" and android:layout_gravity="left" but that got me nowhere. Then I didn't know how to proceed, even after googling every way I could think of. I'm sorry if this is very basic, but I would really appreciate some help here.
