    When trying to connect to a server in Management Studio (specifically 2008), there is a field where you enter the Server name. That field also has a drop-down list where it shows a history of servers that you have attempted to connect to. I would like to know: How to remove an individual item from that history. How to remove an item from the Login field history for each Server name. Thanks!

    Hello all. I'm trying to populate a page with X entries from my tumblr feed, and I'm wondering how I can only pull that X number from the JSON object it returns.   • Populating cell in UITableView with unique items

    I have an array of URL Links that I'm trying to load into a Grouped UITableView. The goal being that I have numberOfSectionsInTableView return [url count] so I can have number of sections equal to the number of url links. Then in numberOfRowsInSection returns 1 so I only populate 1 URL for each section. The trouble I'm having is to ensure that cellForRowAtIndexPath won't keep grabbing the first url link. I suspect it's because it's always grabbing the first url because the rowIndex is always zero.     I have the following code for each lookup table. So far I am doing copy/paste for each drop down list control. But I think there is a better way of doing this. I should be able to specify DataTextField, DataValueField, control names etc. Of course I will have to manually add configuration related database values on the database side like look up table, and other changes in the stored proc.     Hi, I have an application resource of the following <Style TargetType="{x:Type TextBlock}"> <Setter Property="Background" Value="{DynamicResource windowTextBackColor}"/> <Setter Property="Foreground" Value="{DynamicResource windowsTextForeColor}"/> </Style> So all the text blocks in my application should assume those colours. However the Menu and its containing MenuItems on my Main Window does not take these colours? I have to do the XAML for it to assume those colours, Is there a reason why setting a style that targets Text blocks does not work? Thanks

    Hi, I am using MVVM to show the database records in a gridview (ListView view). i have a textbox where we can enter the text to be searched in the results listed in the gridview. i tried many ways to highlight the search text (Not the entire row only the text matches in the record) in the records displayed in the list view but unable to highlight. i am able to find the starting and ending indexes. i tried to created rectangles using those indexes on the text block but unable to highlight.     When using a nosql type datastore like Cassandra, how would you return a result set based on a column? e.g. SELECT * FROM Articles WHERE category='blah' ORDER BY datetime DESC is this something that you would store in a sql db and then pull the data from cassandra? Or can cassandra handle this type of query? (assuming millions of rows in a db) From what I understand, cassandra is great at key based lookups, confused if it can and should be used for getting a list of data back and paging that data also (and if it is highly performant)

  • Select only items in a specific DIV using HtmlAgilityPack

    I'm trying to use the HtmlAgilityPack to pull all of the links from a page that are contained within a div declared as <div class='content'> However, when I use the code below I simply get ALL links on the entire page. This doesn't really make sense to me since I am calling SelectNodes from the sub-node I selected earlier (which when viewed in the debugger only shows the HTML from that specific div). So, it's like it's going back to the very root node every time I call SelectNodes. The code I use is below: HtmlWeb hw = new HtmlWeb(); HtmlDocument doc = hw.Load(@"http://example.com"); HtmlNode node = doc.DocumentNode.SelectSingleNode("//div[@class='content']"); foreach(HtmlNode link in node.SelectNodes("//a[@href]")) { Console.WriteLine(link.Value); } Is this the expected behavior?     Hi, I would like to store a list of entityIDs of outlook emails to a file. The entityIDs are strings like: "000000005F776F08B736B442BCF7B6A7060B509A64002000" "000000005F776F08B736B442BCF7B6A7060B509A84002000" "000000005F776F08B736B442BCF7B6A7060B509AA4002000" as you can notice, the strings are very similar. I would like to save these strings in a collection class that would be stored as efficiently as possible when I serialize it to a file.   • Problem With HTML5 Application Cache Whitelist - Won't Ignore Items

    I'm trying to use HTML5 Application Cache to speed some things up on an iPhone webapp. It works great for storing images, css and JS, but the problem is that it also tries to store the HTML. I haven't been able to get it to ignore the html and stop storing it in the cache. From what I've read, I have to "whitelist" the files and directories that I want to load no matter what. I've tried listing the files I want cached explicitly, and I've tried adding a series of things under the "NETWORK:" heading. I've tried * / /* http://mysite.com http://mysite.com/ http://mysite.com/* None of them seem to work. Is there any way to ignore HTML files by MIME-Type or anything? Any advice would be appreciated. Ryan P.S. Of course, my site is not mysite.com..I just used that for simplicity.

    I've just started using Qt, so please bear with me. When I use QTableWidget-getItemAt(), it returns a different item from if I used currentItemChanged and clicked the same item. I believe it's necessary to use itemAt() since I need to get the first column of whatever row was clicked. Looking at the SQL trace in NH Profiler the query appears to be correct. The problem feels like it is in the mapping but I am unsure how to troubleshoot that process. I am about to turn on logging to see what I can find but I thought I would post here in case someone with experience mapping joins knows where I am going wrong.

  • jQuery drag drop slower for more DIV items

    Hi there, I have got a hierarchichal tags (with parent child relationship) in my page and it will account to 500 - 4500 (can even grow). When i bound the draggable and droppable for all i saw very bad performance in IE7 and IE6. The custom helper wont move smoothly and was very very slow. Based on some other post i have made the droppable been bound/unbound on mouseover and mouseout events (dynamically). Its better now. But still i dont see the custom helper move very smoothly there is a gap between the mouse cursor and the helper when they move and gets very bad when i access the site from remote. Please help me to address this performance issue. Am totally stuck here.. :(

    Hello, I want to modify this code which works pretty good but (or I don't know because I'm new with php) I can't limit the number of li's displayed for the main elements in the menu. The actual code will echo all elements it finds, I want to limit the times <li><a href='{$sLink}' {$sOnclick} target='_parent'>{$sPictureRep}{$sText}</a> this line is echoed.. let's say to echo just the first 15 elements + a "MORE" button under which to display the rest of the elements as sub-menus.. (this is a 2 level horizontal menu). Can someone please help me? I really tried a lot but I'm not an expert in PHP.. I want to just set a Combobox's ItemsSource to the IEnumerable, but when I do it goes and loads all the data anyway (which removes the point of lazy loading). I've tried it with Linq-To-Sql as well since it seems to be a similar theory and it also loads all the data. Is there an easy way to do this?
