  • How do I get a get the left pane of my GUI app to talk to the right pane?

    I need help on developing a UI for a app. Basically this app will have do panels, left and right, lets say. On the left panel will be displayed customers and when I click on the customer name on the right will appear tabs with information, some kind of form with name, email, picture, etc. I already developed the left panel with DictionaryGrid which I could found on tutorials and so on, but no idea on the right panel which is the form side. Any help??? Just the idea and the development is with me, thanks very much

Many factors have been driving this growing awareness, most notably, the global financial crisis, heightened regulatory environments and a need to more effectively operationalize corporate strategy. Executives in India are no exception. In fact, given the phenomenal rate of progress of the country, top of mind for all executives (whether in finance, operations, IT, etc.) is the need to build capacity, ramp-up production and ensure that the right resources are in place to capture growth opportunities. So, each generalized screen size above has an associated minimum resolution that's defined by the system. These minimum sizes are in "dp" units—the same units you should use when defining your layouts—which allows the system to avoid worrying about changes in screen density. xlarge screens are at least 960dp x 720dp large screens are at least 640dp x 480dp normal screens are at least 470dp x 320dp small screens are at least 426dp x 320dp So, If I want to support all Android screens, can I create images, for full screen view, in those dimensions and that will be sufficient condition to support all available screens? or they are just the minimum sizes, and I need other dimensions? Can save the document created and edited on my own/ custom server addr. (Which api can support this???     Every new generation of CPU introduces some sets of new instruction, ie.: MMX,3DNOW,SSE and so on. I've got few general questions about them: 1) If some program uses for example SSE instruction can it be run on CPU that doesn't support SSE? 2) If yes , does it mean that those instuction will be changed to some greater number of simpler instuctions? 3) If not, does it mean that the real perfomance impact of such new instructions will be after few years when most CPU will support such technology (so there won't be any incompatibilities)? 4) When I compile a C++ program with optimizations does it mean that it'll use some of this new instructions? (I know that it depends on many factors, especcialy on the code, but I want some general answer) Or are they reserved mostly for programs written in asm?

    I am in need of a software that is PHP-Based, or similar that can be installed on my server that doesn't offer SVN Perks. It should be somewhat similar to an SVN, however, since the server doesn't support SVN, we'll need another means of doing sort of the same thing. We have a team of Developers and need to accomplish progress in the same way that an SVN does, but without that type of server support. Is there any software that could be installed via webhosting that would be somewhat, if not exactly, similar to an SVN?     Recently I have had conversation with a number of people that are selling and implementing 'cloud' solutions. I put cloud in quotes as implementations like co-location (aka co-lo) and managed services (sometimes referred to as 'your mess for less') have become popular options for companies moving to the cloud. These are obviously not pure public cloud offerings and probably more of hybrid cloud implementations as the infrastructure (PasS and IaaS)is dedicated to a specific customer. This eliminates the security, multi-tenancy, performance and other concerns that companies have regarding public cloud. Are co-location and managed services cloud to you? Are they something your company is considering when you think about cloud ?

  • TabHost disappears after locking the phone and reopening it:

    I have a weird issue with my TabHost in my FragmentActivity that contains a ViewPager. The problem is that when I close my phone (press the power button) while I use my application, and then I turn back the phone and my application gets reopened, at this point my TabHost is missing. So the closing of my phone is causes the TabHost to disappear. Is completely encrypted. I intend to use it as a secure environment to work on sensitive customer data - and also need the system on the stick to be able to connect to the internet.     I need internet browser on my device which has 4.3 Inch screen with 480x272 resolution, I am using embedded Qt 4.6.2 on embedded linux. Micro-controller has ARM9 with 450 Mhz. Requirements for browser are - Touch Screen Support, Panning ( No Scroll bars) - Single touch Zooming ( No Multi Touch Available). - Fit to screen width support ( No Horizontal Scrolling). - Acid 3 Standard Compliable. - Page loading should be like, display all visible text first and then load and show Images Gradually. Is there any browser which is near to this requirements.

  • Implement a WebDAV server in C#?

    We've got a CMS system written in .NET C#. This system has editing facilities for templates (essentially HTML files) and various other support files such as CSS and javascript files. These "files" are not really files, but database records and they are edited using plain old textareas within the CMS system. To make editing these "files" easier, on idea was to implement WebDAV support in the CMS system for these files, so users could use some WebDAV client software to connect to the CMS and then open these in VS 2008 for example. Firstly, is this a feasible idea? Secondly, if so ... where do start? Any good articles out there about implementing a WebDAV server in C# to provide access to either physical documents or "pseudo" documents which are in reality just records in a database? Any input appreciated ....

  • LBA48 in Linux SCSI ATA Passthrough

    I am writing a custom disk monitoring/diagnostics app which, among other things, needs to do stuff to SATA disks behind a SAS PCI card under Linux. So far I am following this guide as well as the example code in sg_utils to pass ATA taskfiles through the SCSI layer. Seems to be working okay. However, in both cases, the CDB data structure (pointed to by the cmdp member of the sg_io argument to the ioctl) has only one unsigned char worth of space for the number of sectors. If you look at the ata_taskfile structure in linux\ata.h you'll see that it has an "nsect" and a "hob_nsect" field - high order bits for the sector count, to support LBA48. It turns out that in my application I need LBA48 support. So, anyone know how to set up an sg_io_hdr structure with an LBA48 sector count?

Are there any plug-ins that bring mixed mode debugging functionality to Eclipse in a reliable way or should I continue to use two separate debuggers?

    Hi, How can GQL support ORDER BY when it does not support aggregation? The question is - if say the result of the query is more than 1000, does ORDER BY return fully ordered list or only the first 1000 items which is then ordered? To explain the question more: is conceptually MIN() same as query.orderby('asc').fetch(1)? If it is properly ordering the list, then how can it not provide COUNT(), since to properly order the list, GQL possibly has to parse through the whole list - in which case, COUNT() is not an issue at all? Or is item indexed and kept in some type of tree so that it does not need to parse it all the time?
