    Hi everyone , can anybody tell me why the following code doesn't work properly? I want to play and stop an audio file. I can do the playback but whenever I click the stop button nothing happens.     Hi all, jQuery newbie here. I need to be able to set multiple cookies within the code without have to change out this variable each and every time. Is there any way to make this code generate unique cookies for different pages? As it is now, I'm having to rename that variable for each page that the jQuery animations exist on. (sbbcookiename) Background on the issue: We are having issues with the sliders not autoplaying once one has already been triggered, due to it the cookie having been cached. Thanks for your help. This aggregation API seems to let you do stuff like this for counts and sums, but I don't need a count or sum or anything, I actually want the invoice objects!

    I have a string 12012009 input by the user in ASP.NET MVC application. I wanted to convert this to a DateTime. But if I do DateTime.TryParse("12012009", out outDateTime); it returns a false. So I tried to convert 12012009 to 12/01/2009 and then do DateTime.TryParse("12/01/2009", out outDateTime); which will work But I don't find any straight forward method to convert string 12012009 to string "12/01/2009". Any ideas?

    We all know that in C# we can't cast bool to int. I wanted to see what is the binary representation of true with bitmask, but I can't use (bool & int).. I think the problem is the architecture desicion "true is true, not any number != 0" (C++) and I was wondering what the benefits of such an architecture are?     i have a simple update query (foo column type is BOOLEAN (default false)): update tablename set foo = true where id = 234; which "id" is set to (primary) key, and if i run "explain analyze" i got: Index Cond: (id = 234) Total runtime: 0.358 ms but still, i have plenty of unexplained queries at slow log (pgfouine), which took more than 200s (?!): Times executed: 99, Av. duration (s): 70 can anyone please explain, whats the reason for that? (1.5 mio rows in table, postgresql 8.4)

If the user changes tabs quickly the widget gets behing and bogged down. This causes the tabs to to not align with the data being displayed and just general lag. I believe that this is because the tab is being changed before $.load() is finished. I have tried to implement the following: ("#tabs li a").click(function() { $("#tabs li.active").removeClass("active"); $("#tab_content").load($(this).attr('href'), function (){ $(this).parent().addClass("active"); }); return false; }); It is my understanding that the callback function within in the load function does not execute until the load function is completed. I think this would solve my problem, however I can not come up with a way to select the correct tab that was clicked within the callback function. If this is not the way to do this then what is the best way implement these tabs so that they would stop loading an old request and load the newest tab selection by the user? Thanks
