  • one page over 9 different urls

    Hi I am using prestashop as the cart for my website. I have a problem; the website used to be in dynamic urls. I enabled friendly url writing. The problem is that one page has more than one url. You can access a same page from the dynamic url and static url. In fact a single page has 9 different urls. This obviously creates problems for seo as search engines penalize my website for this. Here are examples of a page with more than 2 urls (http://www.turkishfootballstore.com/lang-nl/product.php?id_product=515) (http://www.turkishfootballstore.com/fenerbahce/515-fenerbahce-thuisshirt-20092010.html) (http://www.turkishfootballstore.com/lang-nl/fenerbahce/515-fenerbahce-thuisshirt-20092010.html) you can see even the static url's have 2 one with language defined and the other without. out fo the three urls above the correct one is the one at the bottom. What can I do to solve this problem? I have no knowledge of programming. Here is the htaccess for the website. Any sample code or help is really appreciated. There is 550 pages and every page is published in 17 different languages I want to use a 301 auto redirect. What is the simplest way to do it?   • Best way to handle global state

    Hi there, I was wondering if anyone could offer some advice on 'best practices' for using global state in a web application - specifically PHP, although im looking for generic best practices i.e. design patterns etc. At the moment I just use a static class, calling it Configs. I suppose this is similar to using the registry pattern but surely there is a more elegant way of handling global data within an application - i just cant think of a better way though.

    Hi All, I had a problem when I am using Cilk++, an extension to C++ for parallel computing.     Hello, I've just started studying and I need help on one of my exercises. I need the end user to input a rain fall number for each month. I then need to out put the average rainfall, highest month and lowest month and the months which rainfall was above average.   • Performance Hosting under WAS vs Host as Service?

    I have some performance issue when I host WCF service (net.tcp) under WAS (IIS 7). It is working fine when I host service under console application. The issue is WCF Become Slow After Being Idle For 15 Seconds and a solution. After applying Wenlong Dong workaround delay is gone, but it does not work in WAS (IIS 7). I tried to put "ThreadPoolTimeoutWorkaround.DoWorkaround()" in static AppInitialize() as suggested here, still no luck. Thanks

  • Force CloudFront distribution/file update

    I'm using Amazon's CloudFront to serve static files of my web apps. Is there no way to tell a cloudfront distribution that it needs to refresh it's file or point out a single file that should be refreshed? Amazon recommend that you version your files like logo_1.gif, logo_2.gif and so on as a workaround for this problem but that seems like a pretty stupid solution. Is there absolutely no other way?

    I've got a JPanel class called Board with a static subclass, MouseHanlder, which tracks the mouse position along the appropriate listener in Board. My Board class has fields pointerX and pointerY. How do i pass the e.getX() and e.getY() from the MouseHandler subclass to its super class JPanel? I tried with getters, setters, super, and cant get the data transfer between subclass and parent class. I'm certain it's a concept issue, but im stuck. Thanks!

    Update Looks like Jon Skeet was right (big surprise!) and the issue was with my assumption about the Average extension providing a continuous average (it doesn't). I think I've probably misunderstood what Average is actually supposed to do. (This also seems to be the case for all of the aggregate-like extension methods on IObservable<T> -- e.g., Max, Count, etc.)

When my callback function is called (waveIn) when the buffer is full, the hdr structure passed back in wavehdr is obviously corrupted. I do not know if Visual Studio .NET cares about actual memory order when displaying the record in the "local"-view, but they are obviously not displayed in the order I speciefied in the struct. Then theres no data pointer and the bufferLength field is far to high. Interestingly the bytesRecorded field is exactly 64000 - bufferLength and bytesRecorded I'd expect both to be 64000 though. I do not know what exactly is going wrong, maybe someone can help me out on this. I'm an absolute noob to managed code programming and marshalling so please don't be too harsh to me for all the stupid things I've propably done. It's like trying to learn how to swim with your hands tied on your back. Some things I tried (to no effect): .NET compact framework does not seem to support the Pack = 2^x directive in [StructLayout]. I tried [StructLayout(LayoutKind.Explicit)] and used 4 bytes and 8 bytes alignment. 4 bytes alignmentgave me the same result as the above code and 8 bytes alignment only made things worse - but that's what I expected. Interestingly if I move the code from setupBuffer into the setupWaveIn and do not declare the GCHandle in the context of the class but in a local context of setupWaveIn the struct returned by the callback function does not seem to be corrupted. I am not sure however why this is the case and how I can use this knowledge to fix my code. I'd really appreciate any good links on marshalling, calling unmanaged code from C#, etc. Then I'd be very happy if someone could point out my mistakes. What am I doing wrong? Why do I not get what I'd expect.
