I tried using the negative look-behind expression (?<!Test)/Properties/AssemblyInfo\.cs$, but I didn't find a way to "un-ignore" in both folders "Test/" and "Tests/".

  Hi All, I have the following strings in my application. /admin/stylesheets/11 /admin/javascripts/11 /contactus what I want to do is to write a regular expression to capture anything other than string starting with 'admin' basically my regex should capture only /contactus by excluding both /admin/stylesheets/11 /admin/javascripts/11 to capture all i wrote /.+/ and i wrote /(admin).+/ which captures everything starts with 'admin'. how can i do the reverse. If I define a DynamicResource, I realise that an expression is created (where?) that is not translated into a resource until runtime, however, What I do not understans is whether this dynamicresouce, once built, is now "Static" For instance, if I create a context menu via a dynamicresource, are the menuitems which are created at runtime on access then static, even if they are bound? If so, how can i create a dynamic context menu in XAML?

  hi how do i return after the first match of regular expression? (does the Matcher.find() method do that? ) say I have a string "abcdefgeee". I want to ask the regex engine stop finding immediately after it finds the first match of "e" for example. I am writing a method to return true/false if the pattern is found and i don't want to find the whole string for "e". (I am looking for a regex solution ) thanks

  Hi, I'm a relative novice to regular expressions (although I've used them many times successfully). I want to find all links in a document that do not end in ".html" The regular expression I came up with is: href=\"([^"]*)(?<!html)\" In Notepad++, my editor, href=\"([^"]*)\" finds all the links (both those that end in "html" and those that do not). Why doesn't negative lookbehind work? I've also tried lookahead: href=\"[^"]*(?!html\") but that didn't work either. Can anybody help? Cheers, grovel

  Hi, I'm working on a regular expression that will only return true when a date string is in a format something like 'ddd, dd mmm yy'. Valid matches would be values like "Sun, 20 Jun 10" or "Mon, 21 Jun 10" but not "Sunday, 20 Jun 10" or "20 Jun 10". This will be used with mb_ereg in PHP.
