  • CSS: How to make a Div of text underneath another Div selectable?

    Hi, I have a few empty Divs on a page that are basically empty boxes to help me position some stuff to make a "liquid" website. Now I've got content underneath these Divs but I can't highlight/click on the links because these empty Divs are blocking it. I've got a reason I need to have the empty Divs to be on the top layer so I need a way to "click through" these Divs. What can I do? Thanks.

    i want to do this: reads the words in the file one at a time. (Use a string to do this) Counts three things: how many single-character words are in the file, how many short (2 to 5 characters) words are in the file, and how many long (6 or more characters) words are in the file. HELP HERE im not sure on how about reading file into a string. i know i have to something like this but i dont understand the rest.     Hello, my question is how would i be able to go through a string and take out only the links and erase all the rest? I thought about using some type of delemiter, but wouldnt know how to go about using it in java. an example of what i am trying to do: this is my String: String myString = "The file is http: // www. .com/hello.txt and the second file is " + "http: // www. .com/hello2.dat"; I would want the output to be: "http: // www. .com/hello.txt http: // www. .com/hello2.dat" or each could be added to an array, separately. I just want some ideas, id like to write the code myself but am having trouble on how to do it. Any help would be awesome.

    I want to create a simple clock by using java. The code is very simply that i will give an example shown below for(int i=0;i<=60;i++) jLabel11.setText( Integer.toString(i) ); The problem is while I'm running my program the result didn't show the update in sequence. I mean it show only 60 digit immediately. It didn't show the change from 1 to 2 to 3 ... something like this. How can i fix this problem. Thank you in advance.

I have a project folder where I have all the .c and .h files and a conf folder under which there is a config.txt file to read. How can I open that?     I would like to make sure if a textbox has any content at all, that jQuery can show it's parent (an <li class="hidden_dedication") element and set add a class of 'shown'. I'm pretty sure that it should be something like this, but cannot get it to work: if ($('li.hidden_dedication input').val() !== null) { $(this).parent().show().addClass('shown'); } I cannot figure it out.. any ideas?
