• Bind an ip address to Postfix as outgoing ip

  Is that possible to bind all available public ip addresses on a server to one Postfix instance as its outgoing ip pool and let it choose a random ip or specified ip from the pool each time it sends out an email? If above is not possible, can it be configured to listen on one public ip address per instance and each time it delivers a message, it use the binded one as outgoing ip address.

  XenServer 6.0.2 install fails no matter what I do. I have confirmed that the md5 checksum on my ISO file is good. I tried installing from a mounted ISO file (remotely via iKVM). I tried installing from physical media. I tried installing from a bootable USB stick (using syslinux + contents of the ISO) All attempts have yielded the same result: When verifying the installation media, at 0% initializing, the following is reported: "Some packages appeared to be damaged." followed by a list of pretty much all the gz2 and rpm packages. If I skip the media verification the installer proceeds and then gives me an error when it reaches "Installing from base pack" at 0% which states "An unrecoverable error has occurred. The error was: 'ascii' codec can't decode byte 0xff in position 20710: ordinal not in range(128) Please refer to your user guide, or contact a Technical Support Representative, for further details" there is one option left which is to reboot. Apparently at some point during the processing of the repositories on the installation media non-ascii characters are found, which causes the installer to quit. How do I fix this? Here are my specs TYAN S8236 motherboard 2 AMD Opteron 6234 processors LSI2008 card connected to 2 1TB Seagate Constellation drives SATA, 1 500GB Corsair m4 SSD SATA and 1 Corsair Forse 3 - 64GB SSD SATA Onboard SATA connected to a slim DVD-+RW.   Software & Hardware Setup Host System : Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 64 bit Guest : Ubuntu 10.04 (ubuntu-10.04-desktop-i386.iso) 32 bit VM : VirtualBox 3.1.8 Hardware : Intel Core 2 Duo T6400 4GB SDRAM What Happened I followed the tutorial called Installing Ubuntu inside Windows using VirtualBox located here: www.psychocats.net/ubuntu/virtualbox At first I downloaded ubuntu-10.04-desktop-amd64.iso because I figured that it would be a perfect fit with my Vista 64 OS. I was wrong because it turns out the my Intel Core 2 Duo T6400 CPU does not have Intel® Virtualization Technology. So I had to go with the ubuntu-10.04-desktop-i386.iso which is 32 bit. This got me to the point where I could actually create the Ubuntu VM. So I set up the VM in VirtualBox (according to the tutorial I was following) to prepare for the Ubuntu 10.04 virtualization. The last 8 show my attempt at virtualizing Ubuntu 10.04. You can see booting up but ultimately failing. The Specifics The one error message I got was: (process:210): GLib-WARNING **: getpwuid_r(): failed due to unknown user id (0) It appeared on a black screen that sort of looked like a Windows console screen but with out the c:\ or the ability to type. Then this error message got more complex when tons of text appeared in the screen. Pictures 23 - 25 in the album show this text. I should also mention that I found this post in the Ubuntu forums by zonination who seemed to have similar problems to mine even though they had a different set up. The main issue I think zonination and me may be having is the fact that we can not change the color mode to 32 bit while it is booting. I think the 16 bit color mode maybe making Ubuntu fail. Not certain though. Well I hope I explained my problem thoroughly and clearly. Thanks for the tutorial. It got me started but, now I hope to finish this process so I can start developing in Ubuntu. • IE8 Download's Writing to C:\?

  Every time I download something using IE8 (running on Win 7) I get asked where to save the file, I choose my downloads folder, then the download continues and when complete I get the following message: "C:\ is not accessible. Access Denied." And I so I can't access any files I download. So why on earth would IE8 be trying to write to the root, and where can I change this?   I am using Mac OS X 10.5.8 behind a company firewall and have proxy settings and username / password through which I can connect to internet. The internet is working as I am posting this question through it, but if I try to open Facebook or Gmail the following message appears: Safari can’t open the page “https://www.google.com/accounts/ServiceLogin?[..]” because Safari can’t establish a secure connection to the server “www.google.com” What could be wrong?

  Everytime I try to install this 2 updates I get the same error while I've succesfully installed other updates. I've tried to disable NOD32 antivirus and Spybot resident with no result. I've also tried to download the updates and open with the Windows Update Standalone Installer but it comes up with a message which states "The update is not applicable to your computer".

• Mac OS X - Could not start Terminal.app - shell has illegal value

  I can not run the Terminal.app after rolling back my system from time machine. Mac OS X Version 10.6.2 It displays the following error. "Your are not authorized to run this application" "The administrator has set your shell to an illegal value" After that I have deleted the file ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Terminal.plist But the same message is displayed. I have repaired all system rights with the DiskUtility but that did not help.

• HP DL380 reboot problems

  I have recently installed RHEL 5.3 on a HP DL 380 G5. Then I installed HP's PSP(Proliant Support Pack). Since then I cannot reboot the system anymore. The system just stays in "Broadcast message from root (tty0). The system is going for reboot NOW" Neither halt, poweroff, reboot nor init 6 works.
