  • It is only uploading first row's file input

    I have a application which you can access here. If you open the application please click on the "Add" button a couple of times. This will add a new row into a table below. In each table row there is an AJAX file uploader. Now the problem is that if I click on the "Upload" button in any row except the first row, then the uploading only happens in the first row so it is only uploading the first file input only. Why is it doing this and how can I get it so that when then the user clicks the "Upload" button, the file input within that row of the "Upload" button is uploaded and not the first row being uploaded? This works as expected in Safari and Chrome. In FF 3.5.1, they all return 64. This is wrong. Does anyone know how I can force FF/jQuery to return the correct values?

I was thinking of a bar, which have 10 ' | ' you can move the cursor from one to ten (it doesn't have to be AJAX because the rating is only added at the end of the form) I'm sure you already seend this king of thing but i actually can't find any plugin of it.     I have been using Flesigrid for my CMS and I like it except there are some things I think it could do better like get the column headers from the ajax results rather then in the setup of the flexigrid or having the ability to change the buttons on reload things of that nature. I've been considering a mod of the plugin though I'm not sure i really want to do that. But the question is ... is there something that might be better that I somehow missed when I was looking for grid display ?

  • How can I pipe two Perl CORE::system commands in a cross-platform way?

    I'm writing a System::Wrapper module to abstract away from CORE::system and the qx operator. I have a serial method that attempts to connect command1's output to command2's input. I've made some progress using named pipes, but POSIX::mkfifo is not cross-platform. My specific questions: Is there an alternative to POSIX::mkfifo that is cross-platform? Win32 named pipes don't work, as you can't open those as regular files, neither do sockets, for the same reasons. 2. The above doesn't quite work; the two threads get spawned correctly, but nothing flows across the pipe. I suppose that might have something to do with pipe deadlocking or output buffering. What throws me off is that when I run those two commands in the actual shell, everything works as expected. Point 2 is solved; a -p fifo file test was not testing the correct file.

  • Why is the pavucontrol level indicator jumping while nothing plays?

    The level indicator in the screenshot does jump around even if nothing is playing. The indicator also reasonably represents sound levels when music is playing. I dont have any mediaservers running or noisy browsertabs open. Also no mic connected. When I turn the volume to max in software and on the amp, there is no noise from the speakers at all. Played music is loud and not distorted. Hardware: Realtek ALC889 over optical audio connector to a generic amp. Software: Debian Wheezy with latest backport kernel 3.14 (same thing on wheezy 3.2 stock), wheezy pulseaudio, xfce session, a custom asound.conf that enables pulseaudio to push sound over optical port. /etc/asound.conf pcm.a52 { @args [CARD] @args.CARD { type string } type rate slave { pcm { type a52 bitrate 448 channels 6 card $CARD } rate 48000 #required somehow, otherwise nothing happens in PulseAudio } }

They keep opening discretely, quietly as just another Outlook entry on the taskbar. And I keep overlooking them, because they pop up behind everything else. How do I make them less easy to overlook?   • Apache user owns git project root, with git-http-backend setup, but still having permissions problems

    I've setup git-http-backend on my vps server (CentOS), under one of its users. The apache user owns the git project root directory - /home/theuser/git/, as below: drwxrwxr-x 3 apache apache The apache user also owns everything inside that directory. But I'm still getting the following error in git when trying to push: error: unpack failed: unpack-objects abnormal exit The apache error log shows the following error: error: insufficient permission for adding an object to repository database ./objects I've tried every combination of user permissions and enabled read/write access, but not getting anywhere. Should the git user own this folder? Can someone explain exactly what user should own this folder, or what steps I might take to fix this problem?

There is a numerical field on the form and I would like to sort the results by this number (highest first). How would I go about doing this in jQuery?   • JQuery Datepicker Date highlight Issue

    I have an in-line date picker in which I want to highlight some dates based on array of strings from the server side. I found out the on load of the page with the datepicker, events the matches in the current month will not be highlighted. when I click the next month button the events on the next moth will be highlighted. What I discovered that i the matching only get highlighted when I click to the next month and not when I click back to the previous month.   • Win XP Pro, IIS 5.1, PCI Compliance

    I have a client that was scanned and determined not to be PCI Compliant. I looked and they had IIS setup to allow a program from central office to push/pull info from their server. Many of the reasons they failed appeared to have been fixed in SPs (they were on SP2) or security updates. I fully patched the server to (Windows XP Pro) SP3 with all optional updates. I had them scan again and again they failed with only one less vulnerability that I manually corrected (server was showing debugging/error messages). The main issue I'm having is that when I research the CVE code for each error, they say they are fixed in SP2 and up. I'm wondering if I need to remove IIS and resetup since I have patched to SP3. Any ideas?

  • Virtualbox crashes quite often in Windows 8

    I just installed Windows 8 on my computer. I got the ISO and the product key from my university so the software itself is sound. I use alot of virtual box. And ever since I moved to Windows 8, I have noticed that virtual box crashes more often. In particular, it is very very bad at opening multiple guests. My CPU usage will be at like 20% and I only have 3 guests open and my entire computer just freezes. Cursor and all. In Windows 7, I was able to open like 6 (not that I ever needed to) and really push my CPU. I havent experience any other issues with Windows 8 yet. Has anyone encountered this? Thanks!
