  I have a database and a site having forms authentication. It is working fine with VS2008. This time, I am using "Trusted_connection =True". But when it is opened from outside or directly from browser then I am getting error "Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON'." I know this is due to permission. SQL server is based on windows authentication. What is the best approach to manage user to connect SQL Server? Should I enable SQL Server authentication? Let me know what to do so that it makes the production feel and there wouldn't be any problem during deployment. Note: SQL Server is installed on domain server.

• Error while creating in app purchase in itunes connect

  I'm having trouble while creating an In App Purchase in iTunes Connect. I have created a test user and am able to see the form for creating the in app purchase. However, when pressing 'Save' I get the following error message: "There was an error saving changes. Please try again later. If the problem persists, please contact us." This error has persisted for about 24 hours now. Have you encountered this problem, and do you know any way to get around it? Edit 2009-11-10: I just received a response from my email to Apple. It stated that they will start looking into it, and expect to have a solution within three business days. As soon as I hear something new, I'll post it here.

  Hi, Has anybody succeeded in developing a bluetooth application on the iPhone that prints to a Bluetooth printer? I have been investigating the feasibility of developing an iPhone application that could print to a Bluetooth-enabled printer. I've gone through the most of the postings in this thread and was confused by the mail exchanges. As per my analysis: Gamekit - can be used for bluetooth connectivity between iPhones and IPods ONLY Bonjour - can be used for wi-fi connectivity between iPhones/IPods and bonjour-enabled printer We can use an external accessory to connect to a third party Bluetooth-enabled printer provided the 3rd-party printer complies with the necessary regulations from Apple (registering for either “Made for iPod”/ “Works with iPhone”, and also customizing their printer with specific hardware/software, etc.) Could someone please share their experiences?

  I am trying to implement InApp purchase in my application. I have implemented it as per Apple's programming guide and it(code) was working fine until I created new application, appid, provisioning profile and in-app products @ another developer account. Now, it gives me following error. Error Domain=SKErrorDomain Code=3 UserInfo=0x2a5a00 "Cannot connect to iTunes Store" Same code works fine if I use previous developer account's appid, pro-certificate and product ids. This is very strange issue, I double checked product id names and other things still facing same error. Any clue..?

  We have an application running locally which two days worked fine and now we get the: TNS:listener does not currently know of service requested in connect descriptor error. I've tested the connection using TNSPing which resolved correctly and Tried SQLPlus to try connecting, which failed with the same error. (i.e. Sqlplus username/passowrd@addressname[or host name] The TNS Listener on the server is running. Oracle itself on the server is running. We don't know of any changes that were made to this environment. Anything else we can test to figure this one out? Thanks, Jacques

  Hello all, I am trying to connect to a SVN server in order to import my project into it with svn+ssh authentication method. I am using the NetBeans IDE (6.8) with subversion plugin installed on Windows XP SP2. I have plink installed with its path set in the Windows PATH env variable. When I use the similar looking repository URL (XXXX and YYYY replaced with sensible things) svn+ssh://XXXX@YYYY/home/dce/svn/trunk along with this external tunnel command plink -l <myUserName> -i C:\\privateKey.ppk I keep getting this error: org.tigris.subversion.javahl.ClientException: Network connection closed unexpectedly I searched about it on the Internet and tried many things but didn't work out. Please help if anybody has some idea what may be going wrong. Thanks a lot in advance.

  hi I am using Android 2.2 . I am unable to connect my emulator to internet . When I open my web browser in the emulator it shows the message "Web Page not available" . I have set proxy settings in the emulator (settings - Wireless & Networks -Mobile Networks - Access Point Names). Also , I set proxy settings in eclipse (Windows- Preferences- Android- Launch- Default Emulator Options). • Monodevelop: `Waiting for debugger to connect...`

  I am trying to debug this Mono desktop software in Monodevelop. I imported the SLN file, ran Build all with success, but when I press the Debug button I get this popup that stays waiting forever saying Waiting for debugger to connect...: The output says: User assembly '/home/nico/src/SparkleShare/SparkleShare/bin/SparkleShare.exe' is missing. Debugger will now debug all code, not just user code. Am I doing something wrong? Monodevelop 2.8.6.3 on Ubuntu 2012.04. Nothing special appears on the console with monodevelop -v -v -v. When I press Run instead of Debug, the app crashes immediately saying The application exited with code: 255, but I need Debug to find where the problem is. Note: It is not the same problem as this question, which is about MonoTouch waiting for a phone simulator... the suggestions over there are about the simulator or updating XCode... no simulator nor XCode here.

  I'm a bit of a noob to iPhone programming and I've read up on using PHP as the connection between an iPhone app and a remotely hosted MySQL database, but what I need to do is to connect directly to a MySQL database running on a local machine in my office. The machine is behind the same gateway and has an ip address similar to 192.169.x.x. Is that possible without PHP in the middle or anything else for that matter? Thanks in advance.   Hello everyone, I am debugging codeplex simple project = http://www.codeplex.com/sl2videoplayer. I am using VSTS 2008 + C# + Windows Vista x86 Enterprise. I have not modified any code of this codeplex project, and just press F5 to run VideoPlayerWeb project.   I am trying to connect to Office Communication Server using the Unified Communications Managed API. I have tried my user and a fresh user enabled for OCS. Both account can successfully log into the Office Communicator client, but fail using the API. When creating the network credential, if I pass in the username in the form domain\username, I get this error: SupportedAuthenticationProtocols=Ntlm, Kerberos Realm=SIP Communications Service FailureReason=InvalidCredentials ErrorCode=-2146893044 Microsoft.Rtc.Signaling.AuthenticationException: The log on was denied. For this test, this is the only thing in my emacs-config: (setq tramp-default-method "plink") Then I connect to my Ubuntu Server 9.10 running in a VM on my local network. Connection goes fine, i can use dired to browse folders and open files. Yay! However, git status shows up as: Git:master^M An when i open speedbar all folders and files ends with ^M, ie: <+ conf/^M Does anyone know how to prevent this line-ending collision from occurring?

  Hello, I installed ZWAMP 1.0.7 (on Windows 7), but I'm having a weird problem. I can't connect to my MySQL server from any PHP script. If I try to use MySQL command line everything works fine but PHPMyAdmin retruns error #2002. I'm not sure whether it's important or not but MySQL server is not able to create socket file. I don't know what's the problem but I think everything is configured in my.cnf properly. Do you have any ideas?

  Hi, everyone. I've been experimenting with Cocoa and Objective-C programming on the Mac for a few months now, and I am wanting to start developing applications that manage large amounts of data. The trouble is, I'm not really sure where to start with databases. I have a good background in Java programming with SQLite. I've read a bit about CoreData and I haven't been able to find any good resources for just manually connecting to the database. I'm looking for recommendations. Should I try CoreData, and if so, can anyone recommend a good tutorial for someone new to the language? Or, should I try to manually connect and query an SQLite database somehow, and, if so, any tutorials? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

  I'm trying to make "In App Purchase " works in my iphone app. I created some products and a few test accounts in itunes connect. It works fine connecting the first time on one connection but if I close that connection and open a new one in the same script it gives me an error. test.vbs(13, 1) Microsoft Office Access Database Engine: ODBC--connection to '{Oracle in OraClient10g_home1}DB_NAME' failed. This is some code that triggers the error. TABLE_1 is an ODBC linked table in the test.mdb file.   My linux application is performing non-blocking TCP connect syscall and then use epoll_wait to detect three way handshake completion. Sometimes epoll_wait returns with both POLLOUT & POLLERR revents set for the same socket descriptor. I would like to understand what's going on at TCP level. I'm not able to reproduce it on demand. My guess is that between two calls to epoll_wait inside my event loop we had a SYN+ACK/ACK/FIN sequence but again I'm not able to reproduce it. Any clue ? Regards, Seb

  I'm creating a Qt Symbian application and need to connect to internet. In some way I need to let the user choose a connection when the app starts. I could use Qt Mobility to get it working but when Nokia approves I wan't do publish my application on Ovi Store. As the Qt Mobility is not included in Qt 4.6 it might be a problem to publish my app later. So for this reason I'm thinking of using native APIs instead. The idea is to use: qt_SetDefaultIap() to set the connection on start. I have been looking at this to actually understand what it is doing. If I have two connections that the app could use, one with WIFI and one through mobile internet, which one will qt_SetDefaultIap() choose? And can I in some way with native api make the user choose a connection on start up? (qt_SetDefaultIap seems to just set a default connection on its own, without user choice) Thanks!

• Trouble Extending Network with Apple Airport Extreme (PC won't connect with Ethernet)

  So I have an Apple Airport Extreme base station that I use to create a wifi network at my house. But on a separate story from this station i have a PC (running Windows 7) that does not have a wireless card. Luckily, I have another Airport Extreme Base Station, so I figured I'd have my second station "extend" the existing network. I asked Apple if this was possible, which it was, and walked through the setup wizard to extend the network. Then I ran an ethernet cable from the Station to my PC. However the PC refuses to connect to the Internet. It says it can access the network, "Unidentified Network (Limited Connectivity)", but that's it. It tells me that my computer does not have an IP address. I tried running the cable to another computer (my Apple MacBook Pro) and got a similar error. Any thoughts?

  I've got some problems running capybara-webkit with the Headless gem, Xvfb and our ci server. We use this setup for automatic integration testing and javascript testing of our Ruby on Rails 3.2 app. During the tests it complains that webkit_server: cannot connect to X server But when I ps aux | grep Xvfb deploy 1602 0.0 0.1 61696 1912 pts/2 S+ Jul10 0:00 /usr/bin/Xvfb :99 -screen 0 1280x1024x24 -ac I see the Xvfb running. If I run the tests with --trace it also only shows the error log above and I can't debug the error. Any ideas how I could get some more information, or even a solution?
