• RewriteRules targeting a directory result in a gratuitous redirect

  I have a standard CMS-like RewriteRule set up in my .htaccess: RewriteRule ^(.+)$ index.php?slug=$1 Let's say I have a directory called "foo" in the root directory. For some reason, if you hit the page it causes a redirect: http://www.mysite.com/foo -- http://www.mysite.com/foo?slug=foo Removing the directory fixes the problem, but unfortunately, it's not an option. Does anyone know of a workaround?

  I'm having a problem with my subversion in Ubuntu, and it's happening only on my computer, my colleagues are working fine. It asks for password for user "(null)": Password for '(null)' GNOME keyring: entering the password it shows: svn: OPTIONS of 'http://10.0.203.3/greenfox': authorization failed: Could not authenticate to server: rejected Basic challenge (http://10.0.203.3) What can be causing that (again: it's just on my computer, the svn server is ok).

Are there any email delivery services that allow easy subscription to arbitrary feeds? MailChimp's api doesn't allow list creation.   I'm looking for a way to force SSL and WWW. I've been able to force both separately but together I keep running into redirection issues. The following code works when handling a url in this format: "http://domain.com" and properly redirects to "https://www.domain.com" but when the incoming url is "https://domain.com" it will not forward to "https://www.domain.com" -- Any suggestions? • My site works with www.example.com but not example.com

  this is the site that I am going to develop: http://www.juve-news.com/ it works like this but it doesnt when I try to open it without the www prefix. it give me 400 bad request! • How to configure apache2 to just save certain POST requests without even passing them to application?

  I'm running apache in front of glassfish server using BalancerMember. For performance reasons I would like that POST requests on certain endpoint are just saved to a file without passing them to application (and to return correct HTTP return code). How to configure apache to do that? EDIT: In other words, if a POST request is for path "http://example.com/upload" then the content of the post (body) should go into a file.
