  • Nhibernate get collection by ICriteria

    - by Andrew Kalashnikov
    Hello, colleagues. I've got a problem at getting my entity. MApping: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <hibernate-mapping xmlns="urn:nhibernate-mapping-2.2" assembly="Clients.Core" namespace="Clients.Core.Domains"> <class name="Sales, Clients.Core" table='sales'> <id name="Id" unsaved-value="0"> <column name="id" not-null="true"/> <generator class="native"/> </id> <property name="Guid"> <column name="guid"/> </property> <set name="Accounts" table="sales_users" lazy="false"> <key column="sales_id" /> <element column="user_id" type="Int32" /> </set> </class> Domain: public class Sales : BaseDomain { ICollection<int> accounts = new List<int>(); public virtual ICollection<int> Accounts { get { return accounts; } set { accounts = value; } } public Sales() { } } I want get query such as SELECT * FROM sales s INNER JOIN sales_users su on su.sales_id=s.id WHERE su.user_id=:N How can i do this through ICriterion object?   • C++ CIN cin skips randomly

    - by user69514
    I have this program, but cin in randomly skips.. I mean sometimes it does, and sometimes it doesn't. Any ideas how to fix this? int main(){ /** get course name, number of students, and assignment name **/ string course_name; int numb_students; string assignment_name; Assignment* assignment; cout << "Enter the name of the course" << endl; cin >> course_name; cout << "Enter the number of students" << endl; cin >> numb_students; cout << "Enter the name of the assignment" << endl; cin >> assignment_name; assignment = new Assignment(assignment_name); /** iterate asking for student name and score **/ int i = 0; string student_name; double student_score = 0.0; while( i < numb_students ){ cout << "Enter the name for student #" << i << endl; cin >> student_name; cout << "Enter the score for student #" << i << endl; cin >> student_score; assignment->addScore( Student( student_name, student_score )); i++; } }

  • Extending timeout and message size in WCF service generated by Biztalk 2006 R2

    - by Sergej Andrejev
    Hi, I'm generating WCF service using Biztalk. The code I get is this: <system.serviceModel> <behaviors> <serviceBehaviors> <behavior name="ServiceBehaviorConfiguration"> <serviceDebug httpHelpPageEnabled="true" httpsHelpPageEnabled="false" includeExceptionDetailInFaults="false" /> <serviceMetadata httpGetEnabled="true" httpsGetEnabled="false" externalMetadataLocation="" /> </behavior> </serviceBehaviors> </behaviors> <services> <!-- Note: the service name must match the configuration name for the service implementation. --> <service name="Microsoft.BizTalk.Adapter.Wcf.Runtime.BizTalkServiceInstance" behaviorConfiguration="ServiceBehaviorConfiguration"> <endpoint name="HttpMexEndpoint" address="mex" binding="mexHttpBinding" bindingConfiguration="" contract="IMetadataExchange" /> <!--<endpoint name="HttpsMexEndpoint" address="mex" binding="mexHttpsBinding" bindingConfiguration="" contract="IMetadataExchange" />--> </service> </services> </system.serviceModel> Maybe it's not the most beautifull configuration, but it works. The problem is I don't know how to modify timeouts and message max size, because it has only mex endpoint. I'm surprised how this works at all with just mex endpoint. So two questions are: Why does this works at all? What should I add to extend timeouts and message size?

  • How to build a GridView like DataBound Templated Custom ASP.NET Server Control

    - by Deyan
    I am trying to develop a very simple templated custom server control that resembles GridView. Basically, I want the control to be added in the .aspx page like this: <cc:SimpleGrid ID="SimpleGrid1" runat="server"> <TemplatedColumn>ID: <%# Eval("ID") %></ TemplatedColumn> <TemplatedColumn>Name: <%# Eval("Name") %></ TemplatedColumn> <TemplatedColumn>Age: <%# Eval("Age") %></ TemplatedColumn> </cc:SimpleGrid> and when providing the following datasource: DataTable table = new DataTable(); table.Columns.Add("ID", typeof(int)); table.Columns.Add("Name", typeof(string)); table.Columns.Add("Age", typeof(int)); table.Rows.Add(1, "Bob", 35); table.Rows.Add(2, "Sam", 44); table.Rows.Add(3, "Ann", 26); SimpleGrid1.DataSource = table; SimpleGrid1.DataBind(); the result should be a HTML table like this one. ------------------------------- | ID: 1 | Name: Bob | Age: 35 | ------------------------------- | ID: 2 | Name: Sam | Age: 44 | ------------------------------- | ID: 3 | Name: Ann | Age: 26 | ------------------------------- The main problem is that I cannot define the TemplatedColumn. When I tried to do it like this ... private ITemplate _TemplatedColumn; [PersistenceMode(PersistenceMode.InnerProperty)] [TemplateContainer(typeof(TemplatedColumnItem))] [TemplateInstance(TemplateInstance.Multiple)] public ITemplate TemplatedColumn { get { return _TemplatedColumn; } set { _TemplatedColumn = value; } } .. and subsequently instantiate the template in the CreateChildControls I got the following result which is not what I want: ----------- | Age: 35 | ----------- | Age: 44 | ----------- | Age: 26 | ----------- I know that what I want to achieve is pointless and that I can use DataGrid to achieve it, but I am giving this very simple example because if I know how to do this I would be able to develop the control that I need. Thank you.

  • Exclude css & image resources in web.xml Security Constraint

    - by Tiggles
    I am using JSF2.1 and Glassfish 3.1.2. I specify a security constraint to block everything: <security-constraint> <web-resource-collection> <web-resource-name>Secured Content</web-resource-name> <!-- Block all --> <url-pattern>/*</url-pattern> </web-resource-collection> <!-- only users with at least one of these roles are allowed to access the secured content --> <auth-constraint> <role-name>ADMINISTRATOR</role-name> </auth-constraint> </security-constraint> and have another to allow access a subset of pages and the resources: <security-constraint> <web-resource-collection> <web-resource-name>Open Content</web-resource-name> <!-- Allow subscribe --> <url-pattern>/subscribe/*</url-pattern> <url-pattern>/javax.faces.resource/*</url-pattern> </web-resource-collection> <!-- No Auth Contraint! --> </security-constraint> This works fine. However, is the following <url-pattern>/javax.faces.resource/*</url-pattern> the correct way to allow all resources? I only did this by looking at the url that Facelets injects into the xhtml. Is there security holes with this approach? Thanks.

  • Efficient alternative to merge() when building dataframe from json files with R?

    - by Bryan
    I have written the following code which works, but is painfully slow once I start executing it over thousands of records: require("RJSONIO") people_data <- data.frame(person_id=numeric(0)) json_data <- fromJSON(json_file) n_people <- length(json_data) for(lender in 1:n_people) { person_dataframe <- as.data.frame(t(unlist(json_data[[person]]))) people_data <- merge(people_data, person_dataframe, all=TRUE) } output_file <- paste("people_data",".csv") write.csv(people_data, file=output_file) I am attempting to build a unified data table from a series of json-formated files. The fromJSON() function reads in the data as lists of lists. Each element of the list is a person, which then contains a list of the attributes for that person. For example: [[1]] person_id name gender hair_color [[2]] person_id name location gender height [[...]] structure(list(person_id = "Amy123", name = "Amy", gender = "F", hair_color = "brown"), .Names = c("person_id", "name", "gender", "hair_color")) structure(list(person_id = "matt53", name = "Matt", location = structure(c(47231, "IN"), .Names = c("zip_code", "state")), gender = "M", height = 172), .Names = c("person_id", "name", "location", "gender", "height")) The end result of the code above is matrix where the columns are every person-attribute that appears in the structure above, and the rows are the relevant values for each person. As you can see though, some data is missing for some of the people, so I need to ensure those show up as NA and make sure things end up in the right columns. Further, location itself is a vector with two components: state and zip_code, meaning it needs to be flattened to location.state and location.zip_code before it can be merged with another person record; this is what I use unlist() for. I then keep the running master table in people_data. The above code works, but do you know of a more efficient way to accomplish what I'm trying to do? It appears the merge() is slowing this to a crawl... I have hundreds of files with hundreds of people in each file. Thanks! Bryan

  • Appending html data when item in html select list is selected

    - by Workoholic
    I have a selector that could look like this: <label for="testselector">Test</label><br /> <select id="testselector" name="test[]" size="5" multiple="multiple"> <option name="test_1" value="1">Test Entry X</option> <option name="test_3" value="2">Test Entry Y</option> <option name="test_5" value="5">Test Entry Z</option> </select> <div id="fieldcontainer"></div> When an entry from the above fields is selected, I want two form fields to appear. I use jquery to add them: $("#fieldcontainer").append("<div><label for=\"testurl\">Test Url</label><br /><input name=\"testurl[]\" type=\"text\" id=\"testurl_1\" value=\"\" /></div>"); $("#fieldcontainer").append("<div><label for=\"testpath\">Test Path</label><br /><input name=\"testpath[]\" type=\"text\" id=\"testpath_1\" value=\"\" /></div>"); I can easily add a click handler to make those form fields appear. But how would I keep track of what form fields were already added? When multiple fields are selected, the appropriate number of input fields needs to be added to the fieldcontainer div. And if they are unselected, the input fields need to be removed again. I also need to retrieve the value from the options in the select list to add them as identifier in the added input fields...

  • Changing Positions of the Chart When Creating Multiple Charts Automatically via Vbasic in Excel 2007

    - by McVey
    I am creating a new chart for each row of data in an Excel spreadsheet. I have the Vbasic working properly, but I want to change the position of the chart on the sheet that is added for each row. Below is my code, what do I need to do to change the position of the chart on the page automatically? Ideally, I would like it to be in the upper left hand corner of each sheet. Sub DrawCharts() Dim Ws As Worksheet Dim NewWs As Worksheet Dim cht As Chart Dim LastRow As Long Dim CurrRow As Long Set Ws = ThisWorkbook.Worksheets("Sheet1") LastRow = Ws.Range("A65536").End(xlUp).Row For CurrRow = 2 To LastRow Set NewWs = ThisWorkbook.Worksheets.Add NewWs.Name = Ws.Range("A" & CurrRow).Value Set cht = ThisWorkbook.Charts.Add With cht .ChartType = xl3DColumnClustered .SeriesCollection.NewSeries .SeriesCollection(1).Values = "=" & Ws.Name & "!R" & CurrRow & "C3:R" & CurrRow & "C8" .SeriesCollection(1).Name = "=" & Ws.Name & "!R" & CurrRow & "C2" .SeriesCollection(1).XValues = "Sheet1!R1C3:R1C8" .Axes(xlValue).MinimumScale = 0 .Axes(xlValue).MaximumScale = 1 .Axes(xlValue).MajorUnit = 0.2 .SetElement (msoElementDataLabelShow) .SetElement (msoElementLegendNone) .Location Where:=xlLocationAsObject, Name:=NewWs.Name End With Next CurrRow End Sub Any help is appreciated.

  • Storing arrays in NSUserDefaultsController

    - by neoneye
    Currently I use NSUserDefaults and I'm interested in using NSUserDefaultsController, so that I get notifications when things change. Below is my current code. items = /* NSArray of MYItem's */; NSData* data = [NSKeyedArchiver archivedDataWithRootObject:items]; [[NSUserDefaults standardUserDefaults] setObject:data forKey:kMYItems]; How should I rework my code to store items in NSUserDefaultsController ? Is NSKeyedArchiver the smartest way to store arrays? @interface MYItem : NSObject <NSCoding> { NSString* name; NSString* path; } @property (copy) NSString* name; @property (copy) NSString* path; @end @implementation MYItem @synthesize name, path; -(void)encodeWithCoder:(NSCoder*)coder { [coder encodeObject:name forKey:@"name"]; [coder encodeObject:path forKey:@"path"]; } -(id)initWithCoder:(NSCoder*)coder { [super init]; [self setName:[coder decodeObjectForKey:@"name"]]; [self setPath:[coder decodeObjectForKey:@"path"]]; return self; } @end

  • How to query collections in NHibernate

    - by user305813
    Hi, I have a class: public class User { public virtual int Id { get; set; } public virtual string Name { get; set; } public virtual IDictionary<string, string> Attributes { get; set; } } and a mapping file: <class name="User" table="Users"> <id name="Id"> <generator class="hilo"/> </id> <property name="Name"/> <map name="Attributes" table="UserAttributes"> <key column="UserId"/> <index column="AttributeName" type="System.String"/> <element column="Attributevalue" type="System.String"/> </map> </class> So now I can add many attributes and values to a User. How can I query those attributes so I can get ie. Get all the users where attributename is "Age" and attribute value is "20" ? I don't want to do this in foreach because I may have millions of users each having its unique attributes. Please help

  • what data structure should I use for hash lookup as well as binary search?

    - by zebraman
    I am working on a school homework. I have a list of names. I want to be able to perform binary search on these names (find all names between a lower and upper bound) for first name as well as last name, and perform keyword searches as well (this will be accomplished using hashing. For example, if I have the names Garfield Cat Snoopy Dog Captain Crunch Fat Cat then a binary search of first names (C,H) will return Captain Crunch, Fat Cat, and Garfield Cat. A binary search of last names (Cr,D) will return Captain Crunch. A keyword search of 'cat' will return Fat Cat and Garfield Cat. I understand binary search will only work on a sorted list, but since I am planning on searching two different criteria, I will have to sort the list by last name or first name depending on what I'm searching for. I feel like it will be too inefficient to have to resort the list each time I want to perform a new binary search. Would it just be better for me to set up and maintain two sorted lists (one for sorted by first name, one for sorted by last name)? Also, for hashing, will I have to set up a different table of names for that as well? I understand each keyword will hash to some value determined by a hash function, and this value (or key) is a table address where the corresponding names are stored. So I just want to know what would be the best way to solve this problem? Maintaining separate structures, or is there a way to efficiently do everything I want with just one data structure?

  • How to set ExportMetaData with multiple values as well as single w/ custom attribute ?

    - by Matthew M.
    I have the following ExportMetaData attributes set on my class: [Export(typeof(IDocumentViewer))] [ExportMetadata("Name", "MyViewer")] [ExportMetadata("SupportsEditing", true)] [ExportMetadata("Formats", DocFormat.DOC, IsMultiple = true)] [ExportMetadata("Formats", DocFormat.DOCX, IsMultiple = true)] [ExportMetadata("Formats", DocFormat.RTF, IsMultiple = true)] I also have a supporting interface: public interface IDocumentViewerMetaData { /// <summary> /// Gets the format. /// </summary> /// <value>The format.</value> IEnumerable<DocFormat> Formats { get; } /// <summary> /// Gets the name of the viewer /// </summary> /// <value>The name.</value> string Name { get; } /// <summary> /// Gets a value indicating whether this viewer supports editing /// </summary> /// <value><c>true</c> if [supports editing]; otherwise, <c>false</c>.</value> bool SupportsEditing { get; } } And of course my ImportMany: [ImportMany(typeof(IDocumentViewer))] public IEnumerable<Lazy<IDocumentViewer, IDocumentViewerMetaData>> _viewers { get; set; } What I would like to do is use a strongly-typed attribute class instead of using the ExportMetaData attribute. I have not figured out a way to do this while also supporting single values (Name, SupportsEditing, in the example above). I envision doing something similiar the following (or whatever is suggested as best): [Export(typeof(IDocumentViewer))] [DocumentViewerMetadata(Name = "MyViewer")] [DocumentViewerMetadata(SupportsEditing = true)] [DocumentViewerMetadata(Format = DocFormat.DOC)] [DocumentViewerMetadata(Format = DocFormat.DOCX)] I am fairly certain that there IS a way to do this, I just haven't found the right way to connect the dots. :) Thank you, Matthew

I had an app upload ok recently but this app is having problems. So after a while I carefully went through the following steps trying to make sure everything was ok. Any help is appreciated. Cleaned project Make sure references in build setting reflect new app name Create new app ID matching project name in iPhone Provisioning Portal Destroyed old developer and distributer provisioning profiles in Provisioning Portal, in XCode and on iPhone. Create new development provisioning profile using new app name. Install development provisioning profile into XCode 8) Build (Release) for iPhone OS 3.1.3 (highest my phone will upgrade to, I'm assuming current released version) Builds, Installs and Runs on actual iPhone: To me this implys App and developer ID's are OK. • svcutil, XmlSerializer and xsd:list

    - by Dmitry Ornatsky
    I'm using svcutil to generate classes from service metadata. This XML schema <xsd:complexType name="FindRequest"> ... <xsd:attribute name="Significance" type="Significance" use="optional" /> </xsd:complexType> <xsd:simpleType name="Significance"> <xsd:list> <xsd:simpleType> <xsd:restriction base="xsd:int"> <xsd:enumeration value="1" /> <xsd:enumeration value="2" /> <xsd:enumeration value="3" /> </xsd:restriction> </xsd:simpleType> </xsd:list> produces following code: public partial class FindRequest { ... private int significanceField; private bool significanceFieldSpecified; [System.Xml.Serialization.XmlAttributeAttribute()] public int Significance { get { return this.significanceField; } set { this.significanceField = value; } } [System.Xml.Serialization.XmlIgnoreAttribute()] public bool SignificanceSpecified { get { return this.significanceFieldSpecified; } set { this.significanceFieldSpecified = value; } } } My questions are: Is it possible to make XmlSerializer understand this type of list: <FindRequest Significance="1 2 3"/> For example by using some kind of a flags-style enum: public enum EmployeeStatus { [XmlEnum(Name = "1")] One = 1, [XmlEnum(Name = "2")] Two = 2, [XmlEnum(Name = "3")] Three = 4 } If the answer is yes, Is it possible to make svcutil/xsd.exe generate classes that are serialized that way without changing the schema?

  • jQuery Datatables throws error when dynamically created row headers

    - by JM4
    I am using the Datatables jquery plugin for one of my projects. For one in particular, the number of columns can vary based on how many children a consumer has (yes I realize normalization and proper technique would insert on another row but it is a client requirement). Datatables must be set up as such: <table> <thead> <tr> <th></th> </tr> </thead> <tbody> <tr> <td></td> </tr> </tbody> </table> my script starts out as: <table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0" class="display" id="sortable"> <thead> <tr> <th>parent name</th> <th>parent phone</th> <?php try { $db->beginTransaction(); $stmt = $db->prepare("SELECT max(num_deps) FROM (SELECT count(a.id) as num_deps FROM children a INNER JOIN parents b USING(id) WHERE a.id !=0 GROUP BY a.id) x"); $stmt->execute(); $rows = $stmt->fetchAll(); for($i=1; $i<=$rows[0][0]; $i++) { echo " <th>Child Name ".$i."</th> <th>Date of Birth ".$i."</th> "; } $db->commit(); } catch (PDOException $e) { echo "<p align='center'>There was a system error. Please contact administration.<br>".$e->getMessage()."</p><br />"; } ?> </tr> </thead> In this manner, the final column headers can be 1 or 50 spots long. However, with this dynamic code in place, datatables throws the following error: ""DataTables warning (table id = 'datatable'): Cannot reinitialise DataTable. To retrieve the DataTables object for this table, please pass either no arguments to the dataTable() function, or set bRetrive to true. Alternativly, to destroy old table and create a new one...ETC."' Yes I have set "bRetrieve" : true in the javascript above and that does not do the trick. If I remove the code above, the file "works" fine but it leaves off the necessary columns for my table. Any ideas? This DOES NOT however cause an error and in fact "resolves" the issue in that datatables functions properly (even though there is NO header record for 5+ fields in the body.

    Hi Here is some dummy xml and dummy xml schema I made. schema <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <xs:schema xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" targetNamespace="http://www.domain.com" xmlns="http://www.domain.com" elementFormDefault="qualified"> <xs:element name="vehicles"> <xs:complexType> <xs:sequence> <xs:element name="owner" minOccurs="1" maxOccurs="1"> <xs:simpleType> <xs:restriction base="xs:string"> <xs:minLength value="2" /> <xs:maxLength value="8" /> </xs:restriction> </xs:simpleType> </xs:element> <xs:element name="Car" minOccurs="1" maxOccurs="1"> <xs:complexType> <xs:sequence> <xs:element name="Information" type="CarInfo" minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="unbounded" /> </xs:sequence> </xs:complexType> </xs:element> <xs:element name="Truck"> <xs:complexType> <xs:sequence> <xs:element name="Information" type="CarInfo" minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="unbounded"/> </xs:sequence> </xs:complexType> </xs:element> <xs:element name="SUV"> <xs:complexType> <xs:sequence> <xs:element name="Information" type="CarInfo" minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="unbounded" /> </xs:sequence> </xs:complexType> </xs:element> </xs:sequence> </xs:complexType> </xs:element> <xs:complexType name="CarInfo"> <xs:sequence> <xs:element name="CarName"> <xs:simpleType> <xs:restriction base="xs:string"> <xs:minLength value="1"/> <xs:maxLength value="50"/> </xs:restriction> </xs:simpleType> </xs:element> <xs:element name="CarPassword"> <xs:simpleType> <xs:restriction base="xs:string"> <xs:minLength value="6"/> <xs:maxLength value="50"/> </xs:restriction> </xs:simpleType> </xs:element> <xs:element name="CarEmail"> <xs:simpleType> <xs:restriction base="xs:string"> <xs:pattern value="\w+([-+.']\w+)*@\w+([-.]\w+)*\.\w+([-.]\w+)*"/> </xs:restriction> </xs:simpleType> </xs:element> </xs:sequence> </xs:complexType> </xs:schema> xml sample <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <vehicles> <owner>Car</owner> <Car> <Information> <CarName>Bob</CarName> <CarPassword>123456</CarPassword> <CarEmail>[email protected]</CarEmail> </Information> <Information> <CarName>Bob2</CarName> <CarPassword>123456</CarPassword> <CarEmail>[email protected]</CarEmail> </Information> </Car> <Truck> <Information> <CarName>Jim</CarName> <CarPassword>123456</CarPassword> <CarEmail>[email protected]</CarEmail> </Information> <Information> <CarName>Jim2</CarName> <CarPassword>123456</CarPassword> <CarEmail>[email protected]</CarEmail> </Information> </Truck> <SUV> <Information> <CarName>Jane</CarName> <CarPassword>123456</CarPassword> <CarEmail>[email protected]</CarEmail> </Information> <Information> <CarName>Jane</CarName> <CarPassword>123456</CarPassword> <CarEmail>[email protected]</CarEmail> </Information> </SUV> </vehicles> Serialization Class using System; using System.Collections.Generic; using System.Xml; using System.Xml.Serialization; [XmlRoot("vehicles")] public class MyClass { public MyClass() { Cars = new List<Information>(); Trucks = new List<Information>(); SUVs = new List<Information>(); } [XmlElement(ElementName = "owner")] public string Owner { get; set; } [XmlElement("Car")] public List<Information> Cars { get; set; } [XmlElement("Truck")] public List<Information> Trucks { get; set; } [XmlElement("SUV")] public List<Information> SUVs { get; set; } } public class CarInfo { public CarInfo() { Info = new List<Information>(); } [XmlElement("Information")] public List<Information> Info { get; set; } } public class Information { [XmlElement(ElementName = "CarName")] public string CarName { get; set; } [XmlElement("CarPassword")] public string CarPassword { get; set; } [XmlElement("CarEmail")] public string CarEmail { get; set; } } Now I think this should all validate. If not assume it is write as my real file does work and this is what this dummy one is based off. Now my problem is this. I want to enforce as much as I can from my schema. Such as the "owner" tag must be the first element and should show up one time and only one time ( minOccurs="1" maxOccurs="1"). Right now I can remove the owner element from my dummy xml file and deseriliaze it and it will go on it's happy way and convert it to object and will just put that property as null. I don't want that I want it to throw an exception or something saying this does match what was expected. I don't want to have to validate things like that once deserialized. Same goes for the <car></car> tag I want that to appear always even if there is no information yet I can remove that too and it will be happy with that. So what tags do I have to add to make my serialization class know that these things are required and if they are not found throw an exception.

  • KendoUI Mobile switch and datasource

    - by OnaBai
    I'm trying to have a list of items displayed using a listview, something like: <div data-role="view" data-model="my_model"> <ul data-role="listview" data-bind="source: ds" data-template="list-tmpl"></ul> </div> Where I have a view using a model called my_model and a listview where the source is bound to ds. My model is something like: var my_model = kendo.observable({ ds: new kendo.data.DataSource({ transport: { read: readData, update: updateData, create: updateData, remove: updateData }, pageSize: 10, schema: { model: { id: "id", fields: { id: { type: "number" }, name: { type: "string" }, active: { type: "boolean" } } } } }) }); Each item includes an id, a name (that is a string) and a boolean named active. The template used to render each element is: <script id="list-tmpl" type="text/kendo-tmpl"> <span>#= name # : #= active #</span> <input data-role="switch" data-bind="checked: active"/> </script> Where I display the name and (for debugging) the value of active. In addition, I render a switch bound to active. You should see something like: The problems observed are: If you click on a switch you will see that the value of active next to the name changes its value (as expected) but if then, you pick another switch, the value (neither next to name nor in the DataSource) is not updated (despite the value of the switch is correctly updated). The update handler in the DataSource is never invoked (not even for the first chosen switch and despite the DataSource for that first toggled switch is updated). You can check it in JSFiddle: http://jsfiddle.net/OnaBai/K7wEC/ How do I make that the DataSource gets updated and update handler invoked?
