  Hi guys, We've recently upgraded from VS2008 - VS2010 (and hence upgrading from Web Deployment Project to proper deployment templates). Alas - my Workflow skills arent quite up to scratch. Previously, we used a MSBuild task to execute the Yahoo YUI Javascript/CSS compression module to minify/compress javascript and css files. • How do I stop ReSharper from maintaining classes namespaces to correspond a folder?

  If I place a class file into a folder, the folder's name is appended to the namespace, even if I set "Namespace Provider" property of the folder to False. If I then rename the namespace back, ReSharper underlines it suggesting to change it according to the class file location. How do I suppress this behaviour? I use ReSharper 5 and Visual Studio 2010.

• Problem when creating Web Service

  I am using Visual Studio 2008 SP1 and framework 3.5 sp1 on Windows XP sp3. I have Java service which I consume in my .NET application. When attemp to add web service I get next error: The operation could not be complited.An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format But on another machine everything works fine. There is not any error in Java service. I think error in VS. Is anybody have seen this error before?

Any recommendations? apparently there briefly used to be a Euro OSCON (2004-2006? what happened?) some good language/app-specific ones like EuroPython, EuroSciPy, DjangoCon European BarCamps seem kind of fragmented, esp. for an English-speaking audience anything bigger or better?   How can I, from within a java program on windows, prevent a debugger window being displayed if a program I invoke crashes, and how can I detect the fact that it has crashed? Background I have a problem with a java application running on Windows which is launching an unreliable third party program by way of ProcessBuilder.start(). Specifically, if the external program crashes, the 'Visual Studio Just-In-time Debugger' window pops up asking if the user wants to debug the program. From the java application side, I'm happy to deal with the fact that under some circumstances, the third party program will crash, but I'd like to be able to detect and silently handle that situation from within the Java code without requiring any user interaction.

• How to delete multiple files with msbuild/web deployment project?

  I have an odd issue with how msbuild is behaving with a VS2008 Web Deployment Project and would like to know why it seems to randomly misbehave. I need to remove a number of files from a deployment folder that should only exist in my development environment. The files have been generated by the web application during dev/testing and are not included in my Visual Studio project/solution. The configuration I am using is as follows: <!-- Partial extract from Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Web Deployment Project --> <ItemGroup> <DeleteAfterBuild Include="$(OutputPath)data\errors\*.xml" /> <!-- Folder 1: 36 files --> <DeleteAfterBuild Include="$(OutputPath)data\logos\*.*" /> <!-- Folder 2: 2 files --> <DeleteAfterBuild Include="$(OutputPath)banners\*.*" /> <!-- Folder 3: 1 file --> </ItemGroup> <Target Name="AfterBuild"> <Message Text="------ AfterBuild process starting ------" Importance="high" /> <Delete Files="@(DeleteAfterBuild)"> <Output TaskParameter="DeletedFiles" PropertyName="deleted" /> </Delete> <Message Text="DELETED FILES: $(deleted)" Importance="high" /> <Message Text="------ AfterBuild process complete ------" Importance="high" /> </Target> The problem I have is that when I do a build/rebuild of the Web Deployment Project it "sometimes" removes all the files but other times it will not remove anything! Or it will remove only one or two of the three folders in the DeleteAfterBuild item group. There seems to be no consistency in when the build process decides to remove the files or not. When I've edited the configuration to include only Folder 1 (for example), it removes all the files correctly. Then adding Folder 2 and 3, it starts removing all the files as I want. Then, seeming at random times, I'll rebuild the project and it won't remove any of the files! I have tried moving these items to the ExcludeFromBuild item group (which is probably where it should be) but it gives me the same unpredictable result. Has anyone experienced this? Am I doing something wrong? Why does this happen?

  I have an Interop assembly lying in GAC; Windows Explorer clearly shows it listed in the C:\WINDOWS\assembly folder. Yet, when I try to add a reference to it in from Visual Studio, I can't see it anywhere in the Add Reference dialog. If this is happened to you too, what is the reason for this?
