  • get string from outside run programm

    Hello I have jsp page with text field and button. Also i have jar of another project. When i click on the button the MAIN.class of the jar is called and program is running in independent window(JFrame). After user is finished with the program and exits, I need to get the String of program that is generated on exit and paste it into the textbox (The String is HTML code) Is anyone else having this problem and has a solution?     In one of the ASP.NET MVC apps we would like to logoff the user automatically if he closes the browser tab in which the app is opened. We are using the following code when he authenticates. FormsAuthentication.SetAuthCookie(userName, false) As of now, if we closes the browser window and relaunch it, users are asked to authenticate again. But we want to ask users to authenticate again if they close the tab and try to access any of the website urls.

    I am trying to write the simples GUI countdown. I found in Internet some code but it is already too fancy for me. I am trying to keep it as simple as possible. So, I just want to have a window saying "You have 10 second left". The number of second should decrease every second from 10 to 0. I wrote a code. And I think I am close to the working solution. But I still missing something. Could you pleas help me to find out what is wrong?     Say i have a string that i need to evaluate in javascript such as : window.some_class.update( 'Runner', 'update_runner', '{"runner":{"id":"1","name":"Nin's Lad" } }'); In order for eval() to evaluate it, i need to escape the apostrophe in runner_name (Nin's Lad). Is this possable with regex? I dont want to escape the single quotes around Runner and update_runner. I'd just like to escape any single quotes inside double quotes. Thanks,

  • Has anyone got the vim taglist plugin working with Scala?

    I'm having trouble getting the taglist plugin working properly with Scala. I've installed the plugin and ctags and verified that it works properly with Java and C++. I then followed the instructions on this page (minus the Lift specific instructuions), but was nothing shows up in the taglist window when I open it while editing a Scala file. Has anyone got this working and what are the proper steps? Thanks.

    Hi everyone, Using Lightbox for a photo gallery and would like to initiate the function by clicking on the thumbnail's parent <li>rather than the thumbnail image. I have been able to do this easily with the thumbnail for the album (not using Lightbox, simply opening another page) with the following code: $(".item").click(function(){ window.location=$(this).find("a").attr("href");return false; }); However, can't seem to initiate Lightbox in a similar fashion.   • sql 2008 express connection problems

    Hi, I've just installed a fresh copy of SQL 2008 Express. before I did anything I opened Management Studio and successfully connected using Window Authentication. However I tried to run the following on the command line "telnet localhost 1433" and got the error "Could not open connection to the host, on port 1433: Connect failed" I checked netstat and there is nothing listening on port 1433. Before I go any further, is there a problem with the install? thanks, Shane
