  • Using data from a dataset in styles with Mapnik

    I've setup Mapnik to connect to a PostGIS database, and display geometry. I'd like to have a column in my database called opacity, and use it as the opacity for that row of geometry when Mapnik renders it. So far, I've only found information on how to display text from the database, and how to use filters to display different styles when database values are within parameters. Nothing about how to use the values directly inside of a style or layer though - is this possible?

    [Participant Table [1994]] Error: SSIS Error Code DTS_E_CANNOTACQUIRECONNECTIONFROMCONNECTIONMANAGER. The AcquireConnection method call to the connection manager "I:\My Documents\Flamm Consulting\Migrations.accdb" failed with error code 0xC0209303. There may be error messages posted before this with more information on why the AcquireConnection method call failed. Frankly, I'm confused about how SSIS should connect to Access 2007 - the UI just isn't very friendly - there's no file browser, for example. I'm wondering if there's something wrong with my install - missing drivers, etc.

    I have a requirement where in I want to redirect to an external Url Here is my code in routes.rb map.connect "/myapp/:someparam" , :controller = "foocontroller" , :action = "redirect_to_external_url" In my foo controller i have this action def redirect_to_external_url redirect_to "http://externalurl.com/#{params[:someparam]}.html" end which will redirect to the external url The problem That I am facing is After redirecting, The browser shows "http://externalurl.com/bar.html whereas I want the browser to show "/myapp/bar" url (ex http://mydomain.com/myapp/bar) for seo purpose. Any idea on how this can be achieved in rails ? The Rails version that I am using is 2.3.4

    Hi I have Visual Studio test manager installed in my machine, I have TFS Server installed on another server, I want to connect to that TFS server with new VS 2010. Do I need to install the Visual studio 2010 full version or just the test manager? I installed test manager and its asking a URL to add and I added the one we already have , but its not connecting to that site. Do I need to isntall Full version and TFS on same machine??     Hello! In my Ubuntu 10.10, following this tutorial, I don't face step 2. I mean, while installing the packets, I don't face anything related to configuration. Then, when I run a command, such a mysql -u root -p , I get this error: ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2) As I see in other treads, ps aux | grep mysqld gives me just this output: 1000 4508 0.0 0.0 5172 760 pts/0 S+ 19:53 0:00 grep --color=auto mysqld What is happening??
