  • How do I access Windows Event Viewer log data from Java

    Is there any way to access the Windows Event Log from a java class. Has anyone written any APIs for this, and would there be any way to access the data from a remote machine? The scenario is: I run a process on a remote machine, from a controlling Java process. This remote process logs stuff to the Event Log, which I want to be able to see in the controlling process.     Hi, I'm pretty new to C# and asp.net so aplogies if this is a really stupid question. I'm using a grid view to display a number of records from a database. Each row has an Edit Button. When the button is clicked I want an ID to be passed back to a funtion in my .cs file. How do I bind the rowID to the Button field?   • How to post data in PHP using file_get_contents?

    I am using PHP's function file_get_contents() to fetch contents of a URL and then I process headers through the variable $http_response_header. Now the problem is that some of the URLs need some data to be posted to the URL (for example, login pages). How do I do that? I realize using stream_context I may be able to do that but I am not entirely clear. Thanks.

Using UnknownFieldSet.Field.getGroupList i was able to get the content of field 3 and 4, does that means field 2 has the "deprecated" group structure ?

    Is there an easy way to update the data source for multiple pivot tables on a single Excel sheet at the same time? All of the pivot tables reference the same named range, but I need to create a second worksheet that has the same pivot tables, but accessing a different named range. Ideally I would like to be able to do some kind of search and replace operation (like you can do on formulae), rather than updating each individual pivot table by hand. Any suggestions?

Entity1: LatestData Entity2: LatestDetailedData LatestData has URL, publishedDate, heading LatestDetailedData has URL, NewsDescription, PublishedDate, Author Both entities have same URL for a record. Both the entities are connected with inverse relation ship. And the relation ship is "delete-Cascaded" What I want: If I remove a record in LatestData, I want the record with same URL in LatestDetailedData must also be deleted. How?
