  I am using a custom route handler for a webforms application. I am using routes to determine localization. ie: if the url has es or fr in the route it will load either spanish or french resources. for example: www.someroute/es/checkstuff/checkstuff.aspx will load: www.someroute/checkstuff/checkstuff.aspx with the spanish resources. I am configuring the custom routes in global.asax via: protected void Application_Start(object sender, EventArgs e) { RegisterRoutes(RouteTable.Routes); } public static void RegisterRoutes(RouteCollection routes) { foreach (var value in _customRoutes) { routes.Add(value.RouteName, new Route(value.Route, new CustomRouteHandler(value.ResolvedRoute))); } } where _customroutes is a list of routes. Is there a way to do this with some kind of pattern matching so I can avoid adding a specific route for each page in the application. While I know I could use a t4 template to generate the routes, I guess I am looking for a dynamic way to create the list

• UIActionsSheet text shadow problem

  I have a problem with the text shadow of the UIActionSheet buttons. At iOS 4.0.2 long string were truncated automatically. No at iOS 4.2 these texts are presented with a smaller font. But now the offset of the shadow is corrupted and to big. Is there a possibility to change/remove the text shadow of the UIActionSheet. EDIT: I'm building the UIActionSheet not with initWithTitle:, but with the normal init and sets all needed properties afterwards because the number of possible buttons is dynamic and the texts cannot be change. I've tested it with initWithTitle: and got the same results.

• Save objects to a database?

  So far in my .Net coding adventures I've only had a need to save information to files. So I've used XmlSerializer and DataContractSerializer to serialize attributed classes to XML files. My next project, however, requires that I save and retrieve information from a SQL server database. I'm wondering what my options are for doing this. The current version of the app, which was not created by me, uses a lot of hard coded SQL commands. But now I'm trying to avoid doing anything where I have to read or write individual fields to or from the database or objects. I especially want to avoid a lot of hard coded SQL in my code. I like how the serializer classes just figure out how to read and write XML files based on the attributes and or public properties of the class. Is there something similar for a database rather then XML?

  I have a Movieclip on stage with nested movieclips inside. All referenced at 0,0. None of the child movieclips load any dynamic content, animate or have Masked Layers. It does have an input textfield in one of the child MCs. The parent MC shows 280 px width, while it returns 313 px with a .width trace. There is no code that alters the .width value of the parent MC at run-time. And the ParentMC on stage is not scaled (it is at 100% width/height). Any pointers, to what could be the reasons for the discrepancy in .width values on stage and on run-time? Its breaking the scaling code that follows.

  Hello, I have used Eclipse 3.4 to create a Dynamic Web Project. I have also configured my server to use port 8443 with ssl. If I start my server I can access my test.jsp by going to it's address https://localhost:8443/TestContext/test.jsp In eclipse, I have installed this server and added my project to the server. If I Run test.jsp it always launches as http://localhost:8080/TestContext/test.jsp My question is: How can I set up eclipse to run this on https://localhost:8443/ rather than the default 8080? Let's say there is only one car object and I "delete" it in my form, if I do garage_object.update_attributes(params[:garage]), it will delete the car model and make the garage object invalid. Is there to a way to make it not update the attributes if it will make the model invalid?

• Spring / Hibernate project with Tomcat and JQuery.

  Hi, I have a Dynamic Web Project that implements Spring and Hibernate using a Tomcat Server (v6). I'm lauching Tomcat with my Eclipse Galileo and I'm not getting any errors in the console but Tomcat is rendering my webpages randomly. The page just keep loading but without displaying anything, there's nothing on the console either. When I go in debug mode, it goes throught the right steps, everything seems alright. When I display the source code on the web browser (Firefox latest build) it shows me the right code that is needed to display the page I called. What am I not getting here? Plus when I stop Tomcat, it renders a part of the page. I'm wondering if JQuery could be the problem? The thing is that it's a collaborative project and that the others managed to run the web application in the most alright way. Please, share your experience with me.

I was wondering if it was possible for PHP to get the code from a document on the server and put in into the div? Ex: <div id="section... then my text file contains <p>hello</p> Basically I want PHP to put it into the div when the user sees it. If theres a smarter way of acheiving this I'd be open to it as well.   Hi, I asked this question earlier as well: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2773168/lnk2005-delete-already-defined-error-in-vc The answer I got was that I should be using dynamic version of DLLs. I did that and it compiled fine. Now, but when I gave the exe to one of my colleagues to run, they told me - they can't run it as it requires some shared dll, so they need a static one. When I try to do static build then I get the error as mentioned in my previous link. Do, I need to provide some other file as well with exe. I have got .lib file as well in the build directory. Shall I provide taht one as well? I can run it fine on my m/c in whichever directory I put it. Any help is much appreciated as I am really stuck. Thanks in advance, Suchita

  I'm trying to integrate some plain JavaScript library with AngularJS, in which I need to manually $compile some DOM elements. I'm doing the compilation like this: $compile(e.srcElement)($scope); e.srcElement is the DOM element I want to $compile. I wonder, if there is any established way to check if a given DOM element has been compiled. I know it's possible if I attach some data attributes to the DOM during compiling, and try to retrieve that later. What I want to know is if there is any existing method in AngularJS. Thank you!

I also need to provide attributes for size of the new pop up window.   Is there a way with gcc and GNU binutils to mark some functions such that they will generate an error at link-time if used? My situation is that I have some library functions which I am not removing for the sake of compatibility with existing binaries, but I want to ensure that no newly-compiled binary tries to make use of the functions. I can't just use compile-time gcc attributes because the offending code is ignoring my headers and detecting the presence of the functions with a configure script and prototyping them itself. My goal is to generate a link-time error for the bad configure scripts so that they stop detecting the existence of the functions.

  I cannot figure out what is wrong with the XPATH when trying to extract a value from a webpage table. Instead i want that the function will get a directory for example c:\ And it will return me a List of all directories in c:\ Not subsirectories just the directories in c:\ in my case it should be a List with a 14 directories. Meaning in each index in the List a directory. How can i do it ? Tried with Directory and DirectoryInfo but i just got messed up.
