  I converted my website from asp.net mvc 1.0 to 2.0.   Hi I have a A.swf which loads B.swf onto a movieclip and needs to pass it some FlashVars. When loading B.swf with html, I can pass FlashVars fine. When passing from A.swf, it gets a Error #2044: Unhandled ioError:. text=Error #2032: Stream Error. URL: file: The code in A.swf is var request:URLRequest = new URLRequest ("B.swf"); var variables : URLVariables = new URLVariables(); variables.xml = "test.xml"; // This line causes the error 2044, else B.swf loads fine with FlashVars request.data = variables; loader.load (request); In B.swf, it is checking the Flashvars like so. I'm not sure how the result of getValue is returning that, I would've thought doing A && B && C && D would have returned true, rather than the value of D.

• Stripping variable names from VB.Net assemblies

  Hello every one :) I'm trying to reduce as much as I can my VB.Net assembly side, and I just figured out that all variable names were kept unchanged in the actual assembly. Since I tend to use pretty long var names, it adds up and, by running dotfuscator on my assembly, I could shrink it by as much as 10%. Thus I wonder: is there any way to tell Visual Studio to use shorter var names in the generated assembly? Are there any downsides to using dotfuscator (I'd rated avoid it though, since it'd need to be called after every compilation, therefore forcing me to update my build scripts...)? Thanks a lot, CFP.

First I tried a bookmarklet, but Chrome on Mac seems to have some bookmarklet bugs so I decided to write an extension.   I am trying to write a launchd.plist file for my node server. I am using forever to run my node server. I would like the server to start on boot. I would also like to wait for the mongodb launchd plist to run first. I installed mongobb using homebrew and it came with a launchd.plist already. One thing that caught my eye and I haven't been able to figure out is the use of double not operator !! in the IE property. If you read through the code you will find it at many other places. I dont understand whats the difference between !!window.attachEvent and using just window.attachEvent. Is it just a convention or is there more to it that's not obvious?

(names changed for simplicity) It compiles down into these files (in the silverlight project): AppManifest.xaml MySLApp.dll MySLApp.xap MySLAppTestPage.html And the Web project builds into: Bin\MySLApp.Web.dll ClientBin\MySLApp.xap What I also have in my Web project is a .ASHX file that serves up a generated image, which my Silverlight application calls out to as the URL of an image: var uri = new Uri(@"http://localhost:1122/ImageServer.ashx", UriKind.Absolute); var bi = new BitmapImage(uri); TagImage.Source = bi; My big question boils down to this: How do I deploy my app to my IIS server?   I have javascript code which copy the value of input file and past it in the text box in real time. <script> function copyit(){ var thephoto=document.getElementById('thephoto').value; var fileonchange=document.getElementById('fileonchange').value; if(!thephoto==fileonchange){ document.getElementById('fileonchange').value=thephoto; } } window.setInterval("copyit()", 500); </script> Choose File : <input type="file" id="thephoto"><br> Here Is the file name : <input type="text" id="fileonchange"> Sadly this only works one time and then stops pasting the value when changing the file again. ( i mean you should reload the page to works again) Is IF has a cache or something? you can try the code by yourself to see. Thank you all
