  • authorizet.net local testing and ssl certificate

    hi i am integrating authorize.net AIM api into my shopping cart. i have a developer account from auth.net and i am working locally. when i do auth.net api call, i get SSL certificate problem, verify that the CA cert is OK. Details: error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed i assume it's because i dont have ssl on my local machine. how do i get over this so i can test on my local machine? thank you

  • Target .NET 3.5 C++/CLI in Visual Studio 2010 Beta 2

    Has anyone had any success converting a VS 2008 C++/CLI (vcproj) project to a VS 2010 project (vcxproj), whilst maintaining .NET 3.5 as the target framework? I haven't been able to do this and get the project to build successfully. The project compiles fine in VS2008 as .NET 3.5, and fine in VS2010 as .NET 4.0, but I am unable to target .NET 3.5 in 2010. The IDE doesn't seem to provide an option for it, and modifying the vcxproj file by adding <TargetFrameworkVersion>v3.5</TargetFrameworkVersion> causes compilation to fail with the folling error: Error 1 error C1001: An internal error has occurred in the compiler. According to this link, there is apparently some differences in compilers used between VS2008 and 2010, but manually editing the project file was still suggested as a solution. Does anyone have any idea on this?

  • Move jQuery data() when an element is destroyed and re-created

    Can anyone think of a (preferably quick) way to move the data() attached to a DOM element to a new instance of itself? The lightbox plugin I'm using deletes and re-appends and element to the page in order to display it in the lightbox (to aviod the multiple-ids issue that ASP.net has), and obviously the .data() that is attached to the element is lost when this happens.

I descided to change the user structure - I add an array of Warehouse object. Since that time, when UserResolver.Current executed (after Login), HttpContext.Current.User.Identity.IsAuthenticated was false and I couldn't get the user data. When I removed the Warehouse[] from user structure, it starts to be ok again and HttpContext.Current.User.Identity.IsAuthenticated become true after I Login. What is the reason to this weird behaviour?

  • RSA Encrypt in PHP to decrypt in .NET

    In PHP I am RSA encrypting a message to be decrypted by .NET application... but I keep getting a "Bad Key" exception from .NET.... For RSA encryption, I am using PEAR class Crypt_RSA- encrypting with the public key (which is a modulus, exponent pair) I get from working encryption system in .NET... I guess the easiest question would be- does "Bad Key" mean it is not able to decrypt the message whatsoever? IE, it is not encrypted correctly? The harder question is- Is there anything specific about RSA encryption that causes quirks between .NET and PHP?

    Actually I want to serialize my data using Google's java implementation and then deserialize using C# implementation? I have chosen portobuf-net as it seems to be more stable (porto# is still v0.9 or I would have gone for it). Before I start working on it I wanted to be sure that I can achieve this (serializing data using java implementation and deserializing it using potobuf-net). Or is there any list of methods that are specific to portobuf-net implementation?

  • What's the best way to learn .NET?

    I've been developing Java EE for quite a while now. I've used WebLogic, Tomcat, Spring, and Hibernate extensively, so I have a mental model of what features are available and how things are developed and deployed. The problem that I have with .NET is that I don't have a clear mapping of its features onto Java EE. Here's what I know so far: Java EE - .NET Java - C# JAR - DLL WAR - ? (deployment in general) EAR - ? (deployment in general) Tomcat - IIS web server JSP - ASP? JDBC - ODBC JMS - MSMQ JTA - Microsoft Transaction Manager So much of the functionality that WebLogic handles appears to be dispersed throughout the Windows OS. My confusion kicks in when I see the waves of books at Borders - VB.NET, ASP.NET, C#, etc. If I'm not a VB programmer, would it be possible to stick with C# and write enterprise apps that are the equivalent of what I'm used to with Java EE? If there were a Top Three list of books to learn from, what would they be?     I have a project in ASP.NET MVC1 using VB.NET controlers and JqGrid. it works fine under MVC1. After migrating the project to ASP.NET MVC2, the grid is no longer populated. It seems that there is some new restrictions on returned Jsonresult in MVC2. How to solve this in VB.NET.     I have an ASP.Net Page, aspx with its default form. I have a Submit Button for it. Upon clicking, it will post the data to itself. In other words, Button Click Event() from code behind will execute the necessary. After that, I would like to post the same data to another ASp.Net Page, aspx from another domain. So, how can I do it? I tried creating a Form in Button Click Event and a javascript to Submit the Form so that it will post. But the Form is not appearing hence there is already aForm` on the page. Is there anyway to do it?

    I'm trying to follow Apple's Core Data utility Tutorial. It was all going nicely, until... The tutorial uses a custom sub-class of NSManagedObject, called 'Run'. Run.h looks like this: #import <Foundation/Foundation.h> #import <CoreData/CoreData.h> @interface Run : NSManagedObject { NSInteger processID; } @property (retain) NSDate *date; @property (retain) NSDate *primitiveDate; @property NSInteger processID; @end Now, in Run.m we have an accessor method for the processID variable: - (void)setProcessID:(int)newProcessID { [self willChangeValueForKey:@"processID"]; processID = newProcessID; [self didChangeValueForKey:@"processID"]; } In main.m, we use functions to set up a managed object model and context, instantiate an entity called run, and add it to the context. We then get the current NSprocessInfo, in preparation for setting the processID of the run object. NSManagedObjectContext *moc = managedObjectContext(); NSEntityDescription *runEntity = [[mom entitiesByName] objectForKey:@"Run"]; Run *run = [[Run alloc] initWithEntity:runEntity insertIntoManagedObjectContext:moc]; NSProcessInfo *processInfo = [NSProcessInfo processInfo]; Next, we try to call the accessor method defined in Run.m to set the value of processID: [run setProcessID:[processInfo processIdentifier]]; And that's where it's crashing. The object run seems to exist (I can see it in the debugger), so I don't think I'm messaging nil; on the other hand, it doesn't look like the setProcessID: message is actually being received. I'm obviously still learning this stuff (that's what tutorials are for, right?), and I'm probably doing something really stupid. However, any help or suggestions would be gratefully received! ===MORE INFORMATION=== Following up on Jeremy's suggestions: The processID attribute in the model is set up like this: NSAttributeDescription *idAttribute = [[NSAttributeDescription alloc]init]; [idAttribute setName:@"processID"]; [idAttribute setAttributeType:NSInteger32AttributeType]; [idAttribute setOptional:NO]; [idAttribute setDefaultValue:[NSNumber numberWithInteger:-1]]; which seems a little odd; we are defining it as a scalar type, and then giving it an NSNumber object as its default value. In the associated class, Run, processID is defined as an NSInteger. Still, this should be OK - it's all copied directly from the tutorial. It seems to me that the problem is probably in there somewhere. By the way, the getter method for processID is defined like this: - (int)processID { [self willAccessValueForKey:@"processID"]; NSInteger pid = processID; [self didAccessValueForKey:@"processID"]; return pid; } and this method works fine; it accesses and unpacks the default int value of processID (-1).
