• updating/refereshing dojo datagrid with new store value on combobox value changes

  hey all, I have a combo box and a datagrid in my page. when the user changes the combo box value i have to update the grid with children details of newly selected parent. The 1st row just consists of a blank ImageView as a placeholder and an EditText to enter text.   I'm trying to create a custom action for my Wix install, and it's just not working, and I'm unsure why.   Hello everyone! I have a problem with Qt. Here is a part of code that troubles me: void FullScreenImage::QImageIplImageCvt(IplImage *input) { help=cvCreateImage(cvGetSize(input), input->depth, input->nChannels); cvCvtColor(input, help, CV_BGR2RGB); QImage tmp((uchar *)help->imageData, help->width, help->height, help->widthStep, QImage::Format_RGB888); this->setPixmap(QPixmap::fromImage(tmp).scaled(this->size(), Qt::IgnoreAspectRatio, Qt::SmoothTransformation)); cvReleaseImage(&help); } void FullScreenImage::hideOnScreen() { this->hide(); this->clear(); } void FullScreenImage::showOnScreen(IplImage *slika, int delay) { QImageIplImageCvt(slika); this->showFullScreen(); if(delay>0) QTimer::singleShot(delay*1000, this, SLOT(hideOnScreen())); } So, the method showOnScreen uses private method QImageIplImageCvt to create QImage from IplImage (which is used by the openCV), which is then used to create QPixmap in order to show the image in full screen. FullScreenImage class inherits QLabel. After some delay, the fullscreen picture should be hidden, so I use QTimer to trigger an event after some delay. The event handler is the hideOnScreen method which hides the label and should clear the memory. The problem is the following: Whenever I call QPixmap::fromImage, it allocates the memory for the pixmap data and copies the data from QImage memory buffer to the QPixmap memory buffer. After the label is hidden, the QPixmap data still remains allocated, and even worse, after the new QPixmap::fromImage call the new chunk of memory is allocated for the new picture, and the old data is not freed from memory. This causes a memory leak (cca 10 MB per method call with my testing pictures). How can I solve that leak? I've even tried to create a private QPixmap variable, store pixmap created by the QPixmap::fromImage to it, and then tried to call its destructor in hideOnScreen method, but it didn't help. Is there a non-static way to create QPixmap from QImage? Or even better, is there a way to create QPixmap directly from IplImage* ? Thank you in advance for your answers.

• Mac - Flash file not loaded in independent flash player

  Hi, I am working on an independent application to play flash files on Mac. I have already done the same for Linux, and it works flawlessly but on mac for some reason flash is not drawing to my window. It is not throwing any kind of error too. I am using Flash player 10, that would mean that I am using the Core Graphics drawing model. I am able to send mouse events to flash and wrote a sample plugin to check if there was a problem in the context that I was sending, but my sample plugin draws properly to the window. I am getting a call for NPN_InvalidateRect twice and as a response I send an update Event back to flash. I drew a dummy rectangle to check that my context is correct. I have flipped the context to make the origin as top left corner. On doing right click on the debug version of the flash player it shows the following message: "Movie not loaded..." Can anyone give me any idea why is the content not being drawn? I would really appreciate the help, as I have been struggling with it for more than a month now. • Multiple ToggleButton image with different highlight image in WPF

  I am very new to WPF and needed some pointers as to why this is not working correctly. I am trying to make a maximize button that will change to a restore button when clicked. I thought a toggle button with 2 different styles that would be changed in the code behind could work. I am first trying to get the maximize button working and have ran into a problem. I get the error 'System.Windows.Controls.Image' is not a valid value for the 'System.Windows.Controls.Image.Source' property on a Setter. in my xaml. I seem to be not understanding something completely. • Facebook Connect icon isn't showing up in Internet Explorer

  I'm working on a site that is using Facebook Connect and recently made some changes so that the main pages are cached and if you are not logged in (checked with an ajax call) it loads the Facebook Connect javascript and renders the connect button into the page. This works perfectly everywhere except Internet Explorer 7 and 8. The weird part is I render the buttons into a hidden Sign Up / Sign In form and when you show either of those the Connect buttons appear. You can take a look here and you will see the button in Firefox and not Internet Explorer. If you click Sign In the button will show up. This is a Rails app so on the server-side we're responding to an ajax call with rjs like this: page['signin-status'].replace(:partial => "common/layout/signin_menu") page.select('.facebook-connect').each do |value, index| value.replace(render(:partial => '/facebook/signin')) end page << <<-eos LazyLoader.load('http://static.ak.connect.facebook.com/js/api_lib/v0.4/FeatureLoader.js.php', function(){ FB.init('#{Facebooker.api_key}','/xd_receiver.html'); }); eos The first line is replacing the header, the second is the Connect buttons in the Modal dialogs. • WPF - Only want one expander open at a time in grouped Listbox

  I have a UserControl with a templated grouped listbox with expanders and only want one expander open at any time. I have browsed through the site but haven't found anything except binding the IsExpanded to IsSelected which isn't quite what I want. I am trying to put some code in the Expanded event that would loop through Expanders and close all the ones that aren't the expander passed in the Expanded event. I can't seem to figure out how to get at them. I've tried ListBox.Items.Groups but didn't see how to get at them and tried ListBox.ItemContainerGenerator.ContainerFromItem (or Index) but nothing came back.   Hi. I am attempting to create a progress gauge in the status bar for my application, and I'm using the example in Cody Precord's wxPython 2.8 Application Development Cookbook. I've reproduced it below. For now I simply wish to show the gauge and have it pulse when the application is busy, so I assume I need to use the Start/StopBusy() methods. Problem is, none of it seems to work, and the book doesn't provide an example of how to use the class. In the __init__ of my frame I create my status bar like so: self.statbar = status.ProgressStatusBar( self ) self.SetStatusBar( self.statbar ) Then, in the function which does all the work, I have tried things like: self.GetStatusBar().SetRange( 100 ) self.GetStatusBar().SetProgress( 0 ) self.GetStatusBar().StartBusy() self.GetStatusBar().Run() # work done here self.GetStatusBar().StopBusy() And several combinations and permutations of those commands, but nothing happens, no gauge is ever shown. The work takes several seconds, so it's not because the gauge simply disappears again too quickly for me to notice. I can get the gauge to show up by removing the self.prog.Hide() line from Precord's __init__ but it still doesn't pulse and simply disappears never to return once work has finished the first time.   I want to modify the stock JQuery UI slider so that the handle has a arrow on it rather than being a square. i.e. I want to use a custom image as the handle. • Compare NSArray with NSMutableArray adding delta objects to NSMutableArray

  I have an NSMutableArray that is populated with objects of strings. For simplicity sake we'll say that the objects are a person and each person object contains information about that person. Thus I would have an NSMutableArray that is populated with person objects: person.firstName person.lastName person.age person.height And so on. The initial source of data comes from a web server and is populated when my application loads and completes it's initialization with the server. Periodically my application polls the server for the latest list of names. Currently I am creating an NSArray of the result set, emptying the NSMutableArray and then re-populating the NSMutableArray with NSArray results before destroying the NSArray object. This seems inefficient to me on a few levels and also presents me with a problem losing table row references which I can work around, but might be creating more work for myself in doing so. The inefficiency seems to be that I should be able to compare the two arrays and end up with a filtered NSArray. I could then add the filtered set to the NSMutableArray. This would mean that I can simply append new data to the NSMutableArray instead of throwing everything out and re-populating. Conversely I would need to do the same filter in reverse to see if there are records that need removing from the NSMutableArray. Is there any method to do this in a more efficient manner? Have I overlooked something in the docs some place that refers to a simpler technique? I have a problem when I empty the NSMutableArray and re-populate in that any referencing tables lose their selected row state. I can track it and re-select it, but my theory is that using some form of compare and adding objects and removing objects instead of dealing with the whole array in one block might mean I keep my row reference (assuming the item isn't deleted of course). Any suggestions or help much appreciated. Update Would it be just as fast to do a fast enumeration over each comparing each line item as I go? It seems like an expensive operation, but with the last fast enumeration code it might be pretty efficient...

  Hello! Does anybody please know, how could you attach symbols from an .swf file in the Actionscript part of your Flex3 file? I've prepared a simple test case demonstrating my problem. Everything works (there are icons at the 4 buttons, there is a red circle) - except the getDefinitionByName() part.   I've got a problem with RegEx and Delphi 2k9 (Win32). I get the following Error: First chance exception at $7C812AFB. Exception class Exception with message 'TPerlRegEx.Compile() - Please specify a regular expression in RegEx first'. I've got the latest version of TPerlRegEx from the website. Using its defualt settings (Using DLL) I'm including demo source code. • Silverlight Update/Trigger IValueConverter in Listbox DataTemplate in a DataGrid

  Hi I am building an application to display a datagrid bound to an ObservableCollection of Records, where each record has a Course Object and an ObservableCollection of Results Objects. The course is changed using an autocomplete box. The results collection is displayed in a Listbox with an IValueConverter implementation to change the colour of the ellipse template based on criteria of the course currently selected. It works great on loading, but subsequent updates to the course selection via the autocomplete does not trigger a recalculation/refresh of the value converter. Is there a way to trigger the refresh in XAML. I added UpdateSource=Property changed to the binding of the list box - but this caused a stack overflow (haha). But isn;t this very inefficient ? Refreshing the view on the datagrid does not have any effect in that method. Any steps in the right direction are greatly appreciated. Trying to prevent myself going anymore grey :) Had thoughts of getting the binding expression of the list in the grid and updating it, but no clue ? Thanks guys
