    Suppose I'm running several servers serving basic requests on my local network (say a home network, where all machines generally have an IP in the form K.K.K.x, where x is variable). Is there an easy way to discover all such servers? I would need to find each IP on the network running a particular java server application.

  • How to compile a C project with more than one main function?

    Hi folks, I am new to C, and now read some textbook and going to apply its examples. The problem is, whenever I creates a new project and try to put more than one file that contains a main function, the linker (as I thougt0 explains saying: /home/mohammed/tmp/abcd/main.c:4: multiple definition of `main' (BTW, I used many IDEs, MonoDevelop, QT creator, VS2010, Codebloks, ...) I am currently uses QT Creator, It seems to be a very nice IDE. So, there's not a workaround to solve such problem??

    When I try to go to Localhost by entering http and then ://localhost, it automatically branches to http://naazir-pc/WebDB/WEBDB.home with a message saying "Oops! This link appears to be broken.". I ran "Start WampSever" and the status of the server says "WAMPSERVER - server Online" I have closed Skype as well. Can you please help me with this problem. Thanks Naazir Ajward

  • Why is my site displaying differently In Firefox than in Safari?

    I manage a website called ShareDen.com (http://shareden.com/home) and it looks the right way in Mozilla Firefox and it's totally completely discombobulated in Safari. I Haven't tested it in other broswer's (still in process) however my guess is it looks horrible in IE 8. Could it be because I just added the CSS Sticky Footer to my site?     I am working with a high resolution camera: 4008x2672. I a writing a simple program which grabs frame from the camera and sends the frame to a avi file. For working with such a high resolution, I found only x264 codec that could do the trick (Suggestions welcome). I am using opencv for most of the image handling stuff.     I have my iPhone setup on my computer at home, with my developer account and provisioning profile. I'm trying to get it setup on my work computer so I can run work apps on it as well. My work has their own dev account. I created an app ID and privisioning profile on my personal account and downloaded it on my work computer but its not letting me compile and run on my iPhone. It says valid provisiong profile not found on executable.

    i try to check the permission granted to a directory in linux, i mean i have a directory with permission 755 berty@berty-laptop:~$ ls -l / |grep directory drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 2011-01-10 12:33 directory how can i read that permission with java? I've tried using FilePermission but though i have a directory with all the permissions (777) the FilePermission class always returns an exception java.security.AccessControlException: Access denied (java.io.FilePermission /home/directory read) at java.security.AccessController.checkPermission(AccessController.java:103) at com.snippets.Check4DirectoryPermission.checker(Check4DirectoryPermission.java:50) at com.snippets.Check4DirectoryPermission.main(Check4DirectoryPermission.java:70) is there another way to do this?
