• Restart mysql keeping the data

  I'm quite new using mysql, so let me know if I'm missing something. I took some holidays, and when I got back to work and I tried to log in phpmyadmin I got a ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2). I never had this problem, so I was browsing to look for a solution. I tried some things, and I'm afraid I touched too much. I couldn't solve the problem, and the I realized that I had some actualizations to be done, and I thought that they may be helpful for mysql. Then I also realized that when I was doing this actualizations first day, they stopped because I had a lack of space, so I restarted then. Then,when the system was configuring mysql, it didn't advance. I waited for a long time and then I just stopped it and restarted the computer. After it, I just tried to uninstall mysql with sudo apt-get remove mysql-server-5.1, and install it again, but it didn't work. Now I have 2 questions: What do you think it is happening? Should I remove mysql completely? What should I do? I'm afraid of losing my databases, is there anyway to recover the data?   The Question How do i start this Wiki VM at the startup of the OSX Server? I am running OSX Server 10.6.8 and VirtualBox 4.1.8 r75467 and a Debian Linux VM (called "wiki"). . • RDC and black screen mystery

  The following are all Windows 7 64 bit Business edition computers. I have a PC (lets call it "PC1") that I remotely access now and again using Remote Desktop Connection (RDC) on my laptop downstairs. Sometimes when I physically go back to sit at PC1, the screen is black and there is no way for me to wake it into life, no login screen or anything - the PC is still on and I am always forced to do a hard reboot. • Has the hardware in my modem gone bad?

  I contacted CenturyLink about my modem recently and received useless and unrelated information. The problem seems to be that the modem will no longer save settings, the web interface is unusable except in internet explorer for some reason, and the modem keeps resetting. CenturyLink claimed it had to do with signal strength but I checked and it is currently between good and outstanding according to this. All of the lights remain green even when it starts acting up and I lose internet and shortly before it crashes and reboots. Does anyone have any idea what is going on or what I can do to fix it? (Asking CenturyLink again is obviously not going to help.) Update 1: Accessing the syslog from the web interface causes a crash. • Customer Passenger Error Pages

  How do you replace the Passenger Application failed to load error messages. They are lovely, but I'd rather not display them when we move our application to production. It'd be better to just show them on the dev box and maintenance page on the live site. For clarification, this is the call stack page passenger displays when your rails app fails to load. I'd rather not modify the passenger template files directly. Passenger doesn't seem to be respecting: ErrorDocument 500 /500.html

The problem is Filtering is working when I explicitely call maildrop maildrop -V 9 < msg But When I am using SqWebMail, its not filtering my mails.
