I need a method that builds up to d, and I was wondering if there was a method in a java io library somewhere that does this already.

  • Twitter API with urllib2 in python

    I want to use the Twitter API in Python to lookup user ids from name using the lookup method. I have done similar requests simply using response = urllib2.urlopen('http://search.twitter.com...') but for this one I need authentication. I don't think I can do it through the Google python twitter API because it doesn't have the lookup method. Any ideas how can I can auth with urllib2??

Also, it does not provide any option to filter method names by Regex like DotFuscator. DotFuscator is very good but it is too expensive. I have heard about Xeno code and other tools.     I am getting the above error in my VS 2008 C# method when I try to invoke the SQL getColumnNames stored procedure from VS. This SP accepts one input parameter, the table name, and works successfully from SSMS. Currently I am selecting the AdventureWorks AddressType table for it to pull the column names from this table. I can see teh AdventureWorks table available in VS from my Server Explorer / Data Connection. And I see both the AddressType table and getColumnNames SP showing in Server Explorer. But I am still getting this error listed above.     I need to interact with 3'rd party applications by knowing the handle of certain text fields, but the hWnd always changes when that window is recreated. Is there any method that would allow me to identify a window and repeatedly be able to access that window (even after it is closed and then reopened) without having the user manually identify the window? I need the user to be able to identify a window with the usual click, drag and release method but only have to do it once and not every time the target window is recreated.

    I want to make it so that anytime the db is queried for an sfGuardUserProfile it is autmoatically joined and hydrated with its related sfGuardUser. If i was using propel i would normally override the doSelectStmt method of the sfGuardUserProfilePeer class to inspect the Criteria and modify it as necessary as well as modifying the hydrate method of the sfGuardUserProfile class. Im not sure how to go about doing this in Doctrine though.

    I've got a GET method that looks like the following: GetMethod method = new GetMethod("http://host/path/?key=[\"item\",\"item\"]"); Such a path works just fine when typed directly into a browser, but the above line when run causes an IllegalArgumentException : Invalid URI. I've looked at using the URIUtils class, but without success. Is there a way to automatically encode this (or to add a query string onto the URL without causing HttpClient to barf?).

  • How do you manage the namespaces of your extension methods?

    Do you use a global, catchall namespace for all of your extension methods, or do you put the extension methods in the same namespace as the class(es) they extend? Or do you use some other method, like an application or library-specific namespace? EDIT: I ask because I have a need to extend System.Security.Principal.IIdentity, and putting the extension method in the System.Security.Principal namespace seems to make sense, but I've never seen it done this way.
