  • UITableView in popover doesn't stop scrolling

    I have a UITableView being shown in a popover. One cell in my table view has a UITextField in it. When the text field is being edited (the keyboard is visible) and I rotate the device from portrait to landscape and then try to scroll the table view, it keeps going past its bounds, instead of stopping and "bouncing". Does anyone know how to fix this?

  • Easy way to check if item is in list?

    Hey guys, I'm writing a search algorithm in C++, and one of the things I need to do is have a few if statements that check cells above, below, left of, and right of. Each time a cell is found to be open and added to the stack, I want it added to a list of cells already checked. I want to be able to say in the if loop if(thisCell is not in checkedCells). Any simple ideas? Thanks!

    Hi, I have a table view with a list of hotel, and i want put in cell.detailTextLabel.text the distance beetween userlocation and hotel. How can obtain the coordinates of userlocation? I see on web that i need to use CLLocationManager but i don't understand how and where implement in my table view. Then,to get the distance,i do a "getDistancefrom" between userLocation and the coordinates of the hotel ? Thanks

  • NSTableViewCell uses value from other cells

    Hi Guys: I have problem with using dequeueReusableCellWithIdentifier method. Whenever I use this one, one cell would display its own value and value that does not belong to it. This first and second images show the problem, while the third image shows the proper data.The problem seems to be caused by old value not being wiped off and the new value being added on top if it. Which seems very strange.

  • Is It Possible to get a (rough) Mobile Phone Location from a HTTP Request

    If memory serves me correctly, google does this for the maps site. I know google's mobile maps app can determine the rough location (I assume using some kind of cell tower lookup), yet I seem to remember the site getting somewhat close to the current location when viewing on a mobile browser. Anyone know how/if that's possible? Does the IP address change based on the tower or area (seems like they'd be using some kind of gateway common to the carrier)?

    Hi, I have a user control which encapsulates a NumericUpDownExtender. This UserControl implements the interface ICallbackEventHandler, because I want that when a user changes the value of the textbox associated a custom event to be raised in the server. By the other hand each time an async postback is done I shoe a message of loading and disable the whole screen. This works perfect when something is changed in for example an UpdatePanel through this lines of code: Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManager.getInstance().add_beginRequest( function (sender, args) { var modalPopupBehavior = $find('programmaticSavingLoadingModalPopupBehavior'); modalPopupBehavior.show(); } ); The UserControl is placed inside a detailsview which is inside an UpdatePanel in an aspx. When the custom event is raised I want another textbox in the aspx to change its value. So far, When I click on the UpDownExtender, it goes correctly to the server and raises the custom event, and the new value of the textbox is assigned in the server. but it is not changed in the browser. I suspect that the problem is the callback, since I have the same architecture for a UserControl with an AutoCompleteExtender which implement IPostbackEventHandler and it works. Any clues how can I solve this here to make the UpDownNumericExtender user control to work like the AutComplete one? EDIT: Changed display:table to display:table-cell (and added new jsfiddle), because display:table made the field to loses focus when pressed arrow-up on first text row.

    Hi All, We're trying to alter the DataGridViewComboBoxCell so that when the user expands the dropdown menu, inactive items are displayed in grey text. I've found out how to do this by creating a new object, which inherits from DataGridViewComboBoxEditingControl. The problem with this, is that I'm not sure how to tell the comboBoxCell, or column, to use this EditingControl, when the user clicks on the cell. Any ideas?

  • users see my SMS messages as coming from '1010100001'

    In my application, I ask the user to enter their cell and select their provider. I append the provider's email and create the message and fire via php.mail() The problem is that no matter what the header info is, the message comes from '1010100001' on some phones (like AT&T and the iPhone). When testing on my Verizon phone, I get the proper email address as the sender. Any idea how I can send a clearer message?

    I want to verify if I'm in the last cell of the UITable. Should I use a NSInteger property in my controller and store the value of the count of the data (it's an NSMutableArray) that populates the table? I'm asking because I don't know if count iterates over all objects of the array to count or if it only gets me a value of a count property.
