    I have this code: BufferedReader br =new BufferedReader(new FileReader("userdetails.txt")); String str; ArrayList<String> stringList = new ArrayList<String>(); while ((str=br.readLine())!=null){ String datavalue [] = str.split(","); String category = datavalue[0]; String value = datavalue[1]; stringList.add(category); stringList.add(value); } br.close(); it works when the variables category and value do not have a comma(,),however the values in the variable value does contain commas.Is there a way that I can split the index of the without using comma?

  • IE7 and IE8 change event not being thrown for text input

    I have a form that I auto focus at startup of the page with jquery. I also have change event handlers in place for whenever an input changes. If I change the value of the first field that was autofocused, and then move to the next field, the change event handler doesn't fire. If I remove the autofocusing, and just focus manually, then change it then move to the next field, the change event does fire. This only happens on IE. It works fine on firefox and chrome. Anyone experience this before?

  • Displaying text in correct column

    After getting a helpful answer here, I have run into yet another problem: displaying two or more strings in the column I want it to be displayed in. For an example of the problem I have, I want this output: Come here! where? not here! but instead get Come here! where? not here! when I use the code cout << left << setw(30) << "Come here!" << " where? " << setw(20) << "not here!" << endl; I made sure (I think) that the width of both columns could contain the two strings, but no matter how large I set the width of the columns to be, the error is still there.

    I am implementing a FakeDataSet class by implementing IDbSet interface. As part of implementing this interface, I have to implement Find method. All my entity classes has an Guid type Id column. I am trying to implement Find method for this FakeDbSet class but having hard time to write it in a generic way. Below is my attempts for writing this method but since it does not know about Id been Guid type, I am getting compilation error on m.Id call.     I have an excel column of numbers and texts. I tried to use "IF LARGE" to find top 3 numbers of the column (A1 to A7), and return "Yes" to the cells right next to the top 3 (in column B). But unfortunately, the cells next to the texts also returned "Yes". This is the data: 0.2 0.3 Yes 0.5 Yes 0.1 0.8 Yes asdf Yes jklm Yes This is the code for cell B7: =IF(A7>=LARGE($A$1:$A$7,3),"Yes","") Any suggestions to fix this? thanks in advance

    I would like to use the syntax that printf uses, using the %d, %s and adding values after to assign a value to a char[]. Is this possible? e.g. Given an output of: printf("now: %d-%d-%d %d:%d:%d\n", tm.tm_year + 1900, tm.tm_mon + 1, tm.tm_mday, tm.tm_hour, tm.tm_min, tm.tm_sec); I'd like to assign that to char[] output; How can this be done? I tried: sprintf(output, "now: %d-%d-%d %d:%d:%d\n", tm.tm_year + 1900, tm.tm_mon + 1, tm.tm_mday, tm.tm_hour, tm.tm_min, tm.tm_sec); but that didn't seem to work.     Hi, I have an XML will is parsed and then fed to a bunch of Labels. I am trying to add a live element so that the labels refresh automatically from the XML. From what I've read this is possible using a tableView and [tableView reloadData] but the design dictates the use of labels. At the moment the labels only get updated on restarting the app, which is not ideal. Using ViewWillAppear is one option, but want to stick to using lables.

    On pageload i want to show all fields in repeater control and on typing licenseid in the textbox i want to show that specific licenceid details IF I place below code in the datasource of repeater,First one is not working.In the second one i placed a textbox and put its value to 0 on pageload.it is working.But i want both to be working.
