  • nginx trailing slash issues

    I'm googling a lot and found several workarounds, but you have to deinfe every single directory. On Apache: example.com/hi - example.com/hi/ On nginx: example.com/hi - Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at example.com:8888 where 8888 is what Apache is listening on (nginx's :80 - localhost:8888) Any ideas how to fix this and have it just forward normally like folder?

  • Why don't all XSLT templates get executed at once?

    Refer to: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1613454/retrieving-one-element-and-filter-by-another In the above linked posting, I don't understand why the two template blocks don't get executed upon in the incoming XML at the same time. As far I can can see, the XSL risks the second template executing for every Document element whether it is called with apply-templates or not. Could someone explain this to my stifled brain, please?     When I do something like the following: $site = ORM::factory('site')->where('name', '=', 'Test Site')->find(); $users = $site->users; $deletedusers = $users->where('deleted', '=', '1')->find_all(); $nondeletedusers = $users->where('deleted', '=', '0')->find_all(); The contents of $deletedusers is correct, but the $nondeletedusers contains every non-deleted user, not just the ones in the loaded $site. What am I doing wrong?

    I find the surefire-report plug-in very unsuitable to my working style. I clean the project all the time and I don't want to spend 5 min to rebuild the whole site every time I want to look at the test report in my browser. If I type mvn surefire-report:report-only, the generated report is too ugly and barely readable. What I'm looking for is something like ant's JUnitReport task. Is there one available out there already?

    I have a form page in PHP that reads a DBF, and conditionally converts it into a MySQL - extracting the data from an old, but still production accounting app. The conversion should be able to be actioned without user intervention, ie scripted from the web-host's command line on a cron job. How can I get PHP to submit the form automatically when receiving variables at command line, like for instance a specific post variable? Every auto-submit I've found so far relied upon javascript, which would be useless at PHP command line.

However, I can't seem to find php5isapi.dll anywhere after installing PHP 5.3.0 and PHP 5.2.10. If I recall correctly it should be in C:\InstallDir Am I missing something important?

Basically, every boost hpp file that happens to contain "namespace boost" errors with: error C2143: syntax error : missing ';' before 'namespace' Any idea what could be causing this?

  • UIView drawing problem.

    Hi everyone, I have this big problem that i dont know how to fix. I have a UIView that i want to draw a scrolling background on. I am using NSTimer to update 30 frames per second but it seems to redraw one frame every 8 seconds. I am calling [self setNeedsDisplay] but it has no effect. I cant figure out why this is happening, does anyone have any tips? Thanks for your time.

    Hello, i am devloping a site using .net MVC i have a data access layer which basically consists of static list objects that are created from data within my database. The method that rebuilds this data first clears all the list objects. Once they are empty it then add the data. Here is an example of one of the lists im using. its a method which generates all the UK postcodes. there are about 50 methods similar to this in my application that return all sorts of information, such as towns, regions, members, emails etc. public static List<PostCode> AllPostCodes = new List<PostCode>(); when the rebuild method is called it first clears the list. The exception is "Index was outside the bounds of the array." it is due to when a list is being cleared. ListPostCodes.AllPostCodes.Clear(); - // throws exception - although its not always in regard to this list. Once this exception is thrown application dies, All users are affected. I have to restart the server to fix it. i have 2 questions... If i utilise caching instead of static objects would this help ? Is there any way i can say "while the rebuild is taking place, wait for it to complete until accepting requests" any help is most appricaiated ;) truegilly
