I am used to using Visual Studio for development and really like the intellisense, code completion, and file organization it provides and would like to find something (or a combination of tools) that would provide some of this in the django/python environment.

    What open source (preferably gem-based) parser-generator options do I have in Ruby? I've used (flex&bison)|(lex&yacc) from C in the past, and I'm comfortable with BNF-style specifications. I've heard of treetop, but it looks a bit alien and verbose compared to yacc... Purpose: I want to convert my text markup language to a BNF and generate the parsing code.     I am trying to model a collection of systems, their various interconnections, as well as their internal logical structures, as a message is passed through them, initiated by an actor. I have been using BPMN 2.0 notation with Yaoqiang Editor. However I'm not sure if I'm doing this right, or even using the right notation.     Hi all. I have an ecommerce website and I am currently accepting payments from visa, master card and all the other major cards. However, one issue I am having is accepting payment from customers using local debit cards. Say someone from China doesn't have a major credit and he wants to use his local debit card, I want be able to accept payment from him as long as its legal. How do I go about this? Thanks.

    We are using two load balancing server for asp.net site in that we have a functionality which will create a receipt of order in pdf using abcpdf component it was working fine without load balancing server and but when we move it to load balancing server it is giving errors like.     Hi folks, I have a list of usernames on Twitter whose profiles are public. I wish to get "all the tweets" they have posted from the day they formed their profile. I checked Twitter4J examples http://github.com/yusuke/twitter4j/blob/master/twitter4j-examples/src/main/java/twitter4j/examples/GetTimelines.java . According to the Twitter API documentation, only the 20 most recent tweets are returned. Is there anyway I could perform my task?

  • Runtime.exec causes duplicate JVM to hang indefinitely until killed (Solaris 10)

    All, We are running a J2EE application on WebLogic server 9.2 MP2 with a jrockit 64-bit JVM (27.3.1) on Solaris 10. We call use runtime.exec to call an executable called jfmerge to create PDF documents. We have found that in Solaris, when runtime.exec is called, a duplicate JVM is temporarily spawned to kick off the jfmerge process. While this is inefficient (our JVM is 5 GB, thus the duplicated shell JVM is also 5 GB), the major problem lies in the fact that when there is heavy load on this functionality (PDF generation) in our application, sometimes the duplicated JVM never exits. When the JVM hangs, the servers create large issues (extreme application slowness and terminated user sessions) as the entire duplicate JVM get's all of its 5 GB of process size written to disk swap.     So I installed a trial of SQL Server 2008 enterprise edition while waiting for MSDN licenses to come through - I now want to uninstall the trial and replace it with a developer edition installation. However, I'd like to first know how long I have left on the trial. Is there a way to do this programmatically with SQL? I looked at create_date in sys.databases, but these give dates that are in 2003 (which is, I guess, when master and model were originally created).
