• Where to register mediator in puremvc ?

  Currently I am working on flex using puremvc framework. Actually my question is related to where to register mediator in puremvc framework. One of my colleague is registering mediator in views(components) creationComplete method only (inside view). While my preference is send some notification from creationComplete method which could be handle by some command and command will register mediator. So which one is better approach in terms of best practice ?

  I recently upgraded my MacBook Pro to Snow Leopard and "git pull" returns: rakudo $ git pull git: 'pull' is not a git-command. See 'git --help' Did you mean this? shell rakudo $ git-pull -bash: git-pull: command not found I've tried reinstalling via macports, but to no avail. Then I saw this rakudo $ git --exec-path /Users/ovid/libexec/git-core That surprised me as that directory does not exist, nor has it ever existed. Google is not helping here. Hopefully you can :)

  I've got a ItemsControl (to be replaced by listbox) which has it's ItemsSource bound to an ObservableCollection<User> which is located in the view model. The View Model contains some DelegateCommand<T> delegates for handling commands (for instance UpdateUserCommand and RemoveUserCommand).   I bash, how do I convert dos/windows newlines to unix? It must be non-interactive, not like starting vi and typing something in, but a command on the command line that can be put in a script file. The dos2unix and unix2dos commands are not available on the system. How do I do this with commands like sed/awk/tr?

  Are there any workarounds to get the Flex compiler to work with a 64bit JRE? If I use an MXMLC task in an Ant buildfile in Eclipse it works fine but if I try to use MXMLC from the command line (or try the Run... command from FDT in Eclipse) it fails, telling me ... "Error loading: C:\Program Files\Java\jrrt-1.6.0\jre\bin\jrockit\jvm.dll" (this is with a 64bit JRockit runtime but that shouldn't matter).

In the page shown in the frame, I set a CommandBinding for Refresh. • Speed up login to StarTeam?

  I'm working on a program that accesses StarTeam using the StarTeam SDK for .NET. And I've noticed that it takes about 10 seconds to login to the StarTeam server. I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to speed that up. Edit I used this command to run the StarTeam Cross Platform client with debugging output: stjava.exe StarTeamCP.stjava -- -netmon It appears that the delay happens when it send the command SRVR_CMD_GET_USER_PERSONAL_INFO. So I don't think there's anything I can do to speed it up.

• Linux cc compliation of library in directory within project?

  My directory structure looks like the following: -xmllib -libxml++-1.0.a -main.cc ..and I issue the command: cc -lstdc++ -L./xmllib -llibxml++-1.0.a main.cc But then it tells me that it can't find the binary for the library...even though I issued the command from the root directory. /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -llibxml++-1.0.a main.cc collect2: ld returned 1 exit status Is there any reason why cc can't find the binary library? I'm using cc version 2.96 (yes, it's old).
