  • How to import .ops file in Outlook 2007

    Hi all, I install ORK.exe on my Windows 7 machine to create a copy of my profile so I will have it as a template to push it to new user. So basically, I ran the Profile Wizard to create an .ops file. I saved it in my documents for the moment. Right now, I'm trying to import that file into my Outlook but I just can't figure it out! My goal is to have a profile template to push to new users when they log in for first time. Thanks a bunch in advance! EDIT: I just figured it out. But I have a problem: When I create my profile, Outlook 2007 on exchange was not in cache mode. So I created my profile with the Profile Wizard with cache mode disabled. I save my outlook.ops in My documents. Then, I enabled cache mode so when I will import my .ops file, it should be restore as cache mode disabled... But When I do that, cache mode is still checked (which I don't want to) Am I doing something wrong? I guess so but I just can't figure it out

    I have set up a Microsoft Standalone CA on 2008 R2 as a root CA. I'm trying to setup a subordinate Enterprise CA. I generated the certificate request, and submitted it to the root CA. Then, I ran the following command to set the expiration date to 20 years (the request ID is 5): certutil -setattributes 5 "ValidityPeriod:Years\nValidityPeriodUnits:20" Then, I approved the request, but it failed. The Request Status Code is: The specified time is invalid. 0x8007076d (WIN32: 1901) The Request Disposition Message is: Denied by Policy Module 0x8007076d, The requested validity period is invalid. Confirm that the validity period or expiration data and time specified in the request does not extend beyond the validity period of the CA certificate, the certificate template, and the CA. The validity period of the CA can be verified by running the following commands: certutil -getreg ca\validityPeriod & certutil -getreg ca\ValidityPeriodUnits The validity period of the CA certificate is 40 years (expires in 2052). The template condition doesn't apply since this is a standalone CA. The result of those commands is Years and 1, respectively. It appears that I will need to change the CA's validityPeriod and validityPeriodUnits. But, I want to keep the default expiration for a request at 1 year. Is there a way to set a maximum and default expiration, or am I going to have to change it, issue the certificate, and then change it back?

    I am dealing with a frustrating problem with Joomla that is going to require some url trickery. The idea is straight-forward but after reading a bunch of guides for mod-rewrite, I still can't seem to get it work. Let's say my site is www.mysite.com. Joomla is already performing some rewriting for SEF urls so I have links like www.mysite.com/home and www.mysite.com/news and so on. I want to be able to have (4) pseudo-subdirectories like www.mysite.com/mode1/ and www.mysite.com/mode2/ and so on. These subdirectories should work as if the subdirectory isn't there, ie both www.mysite.com/mode1/home and www.mysite.com/mode2/home should pull up the same www.mysite.com/home. It should point any www.mysite.com/mode1/anypagehere to www.mysite.com/anypagehere. The reason I am asking for this is because I will be reading the url for mode1, mode2, etc, to modify the template page. There will be a landing page that will direct people to /mode1/ and /mode2/ etc and the template will change based on that. Note, that I don't want to actually pass a parameter to the url accessible by a GET or whatever because Joomla removes it (perhaps because of my current mod_rewrite settings). I've pasted the current .htaccess file.   • backupexec 12.5 not following symlinks on linux agent

    Ok, we are at a loss here trying to backup a linux box to a backupexec server... we got a backupexec 12.5 server and a "backupexec for windows servers linux agent" (sigh) running on one of our linux boxes. When a backup runs, we get exceptions reported for our symbolic links. it says something like: BACKUP- \\<servername>\[ROOT] File \\<servername>\[ROOT]/<foldername>/<symlink> is in the backup selection list but was not found. Looking at the selection list, the symlink shows as a 1k file on BUE. Tools-Options-Backup has Backup files and directories by following symbolic links/junction points selected. These same checkboxes are selected on the Job Setup-Job Properties-Edit Template-Advanced Additionally, all the checkboxes are checkeced on Tools-Options-Linux, Unix, and Macintosh and on the Job Set-Job Properties-Edit Template-Linux, Unix, and Macintosh. These checkboxes read: "Preserve change time", "Follow local mount points", "Follow remote mount points", "Backup contents of soft-linked directories" and "Lock remote files", but apparently changing those options produce the same result. Any help on how to get BUE to make a proper backup would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    I have a nagios server and a bunch of nagios clients that i currently monitor. All the clients are setup with the following nrpe configuration. check_users, check_load... metrics are successfully displayed on the nagios interface but check_nginx and check_server_proxy displayed as "Unknown"-(No output returned from plugin). As far as i understood nagios simply runs ps command and looks for either the argument strings or the name of the command to verify whether the service is running.
