    Anyone got any experience with this? i tried asking in the automod section on phpbb.com but waited along time to no reply. Basicly i upload the files to the needed directory and go to www.mywebsite.com/install/index.php it then comes up with a screen saying Install etc, and when i click next it returns a 404 error saying page cannot be found, anyone had this ? or know how to sort it or what im doing wrong?

    It's well known that Google and Microsoft host several common javascript libraries on their CDNs (content distribution networks). Unfortunately neither seems to host JSON2.js. I'm aware that I could upload a copy of JSON2.js to my server and serve it myself, but there are a number advantages CDNs offer that I would like to take advantage of. So with that in mind, are there any publicly available CDNs that host JSON2? If not, any idea why?

  • Uploading multiple images through Tumblr API

    I have about 300 images I want to upload to my new Tumblr account, becuase my old wordpress site got hacked and I no longer wish to use wordpress. I uploaded one image a day for 300 days, and I'd like to be able to take these images and upload them to my tumblr site using the api. The images are currently local, stored in /images/. They all have the date they were uploaded as the first ten characters of the filename, (01-01-2009-filename.png) and I went to send this date parameter along as well. I want to be able to see the progress of the script by outputting the responses from the API to my error_log.   • WCF ReliableSession and Timeouts

    I have a WCF service used mainly for managing documents in a repository. I used the chunking channel sample from MS so that I could upload/download huge files. Now I implemented reliable session with the service and I am seeing some strange behaviors. Here are the timeout values I am using. this.SendTimeout = new TimeSpan(0,10,0); this.OpenTimeout = new TimeSpan(0, 1, 0); this.CloseTimeout = new TimeSpan(0, 1, 0); this.ReceiveTimeout = new TimeSpan(0,10, 0); reliableBe.InactivityTimeout = new TimeSpan(0,2,0); I have the following issues. 1. If the Service is not up & running, the clients are not get disconnected after OpenTimeout. I tried it with my test client. Scenario 1: Without Reliable Session: I get the following exception: Could not connect to net.tcp://localhost:8788/MediaManagementService/ep1. The connection attempt lasted for a time span of 00:00:00.9848790. TCP error code 10061: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:8788 This is the correct behavior as I have given the OpenTimeout as 1 sec. Scenario 2: With ReliableSession: I get the same exception: Could not connect to net.tcp://localhost:8788/MediaManagementService/ep1. The connection attempt lasted for a time span of 00:00:00.9692460. TCP error code 10061: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:8788. But this message comes after around 10 mintes . (I believe after SendTimeout) So here I just have enabled the reliable session and now it looks like the OpenTimeout = SendTimeout for the client. Is this desired behavior? 2: Issue while uploading huge files with ReliableSession: The general rule is that you have to set a huge value for the maxReceivedMessageSize, SendTimeout and ReceiveTimeout. But in the case of Chunking channel, the max received message size doesn't matter as the data is sent in chunks. So I set a huge value for Send and ReceiveTimeout : say 10 hours. Now the upload is going fine, but it has a side effect that, even if the Service is not up, it takes 10 hours to timeout the client connection due to the behavior mentioned in (1). Please let me know your thoughts on this behavior.

    I want to upload some files of size 35MB on to the blob container. I have coded for splitting the data into blocks and upload it on to the blob container and form a blob using PUT. I tested the code for some files of Size 2MB or something... It worked well. But When I tried it for a large MB file, its giving me this error Server Error 404 - File or directory not found. The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. when I tried it for files of size 6MB, it gives me this error..     I like how Windows Skydrive lets you drag files into Internet Explorer where an ActiveX component uploads those files to your Skydrive account in a queue. This avoids the cumbersome traditional HTML approach where you present multiple "Browse" buttons and the user has to select individual files one by one, click Upload and then select more files after the first batch completes. What I'm not sure is how the same effect could be achieved in a web app without ActiveX. Any suggestions?

  • Uploadify Hanging at random on 100%

    I am using Uploadify (http://www.uploadify.com/) to enable my users to upload images via my web application. The problem I am having is that every now and then (at what appears to be random) when the progress bar reaches 100% it 'hangs' and does nothing. I was wondering if any developers familiar with uploadify may have any idea how to solve this? I am in desperate need of some help.   • Form submit to target iframe only works once

    I'm having a really irritating problem doing something that I'm sure I've done before. The setup is this: There's a form which is submitted via a "click" handler on a button, though the submit is ultimately a simple call to the form's native submit() function. The form's target is an iframe, which is initially filled with an empty page (that is, its source object is an URL for an empty page). That is, the "target" attribute of the form is the same identifier (and yes, it's a valid identifier) as the "name" and "id" attributes of the iframe (and yes, it's unique) Now the goal of this setup is as follows: the form contains file upload fields. Should something be wrong with one of the files uploaded, the server will report back an error. If the error response (that is, the html page with a new copy of the form, along with appropriate error messages) were to be allowed to reload the original window, then the file input fields would be cleared. That's not good. Thus the form submits to the iframe, so that the response from the server can be a small page that knows it's in that hidden iframe, and knows to move the error messages up to the form. One more thing: the form itself is also in an iframe, as part of a popup modal dialog (like a jQuery UI dialog, only slightly different; same idea though). The setup works fine - on the first submit. In other words, if I supply nice happy files to upload, the server ships back the successful response, and the dialog is closed correctly. If I send a bogus file, the server responds with an error page that correctly copies its stuff up to the form page. On the second submit, however (like, if I fix the bogus file input field), the browser insists on sending the server response to a new browser tab. As far as I can tell, the form's "target" remains correct, the iframe "name" and "id" attributes aren't changed, and I even make sure to update the hidden iframe "window.name" and "window.id" values. None of that is helping; I always get a new browser tab. I'm trying to set up a slightly simpler test case to see if I can rule out some of my framework code (the stuff that does the submit), though via a few console.log() calls I think that stuff is OK; it's certainly OK on all the other dialogs etc. in the site. When/if I create a simpler version I'll post it. In the meantime, if any of you insanely smart people recognize this situation and know of a trick to make it work, I'd be really thankful. I see the same behavior in both Firefox (3.6) and Chrome, so it's got to be my problem and not a browser quirk (well, at least that's what I think to be true).
