• Spritebatch drawing sprite with jagged borders

  Alright, I've been on the making of a sprite class and a sprite sheet manager, but have come across this problem. Pretty much, the project is acting like so; for example: Let's take this .png image, with a transparent background. Note how it has alpha-transparent pixels around it in the lineart. Now, in the latter link's image, in the left (with CornflowerBlue background) it is shown the image drawn in another project (let's call it "Project1") with a simpler sprite class - there, it works. The right (with Purple background for differentiating) shows it drawn with a different class in "Project2" - where the problem manifests itself. EDIT Ok, even if the matter remains unsolved, I have made some more progress! As you see, I managed to get the two kinds of rendering in the same project (the aforementioned Project2, with the more complex Sprite class). I wish to avoid the hassle of storing the binary content in a temporary file on the client machine and then create html container code to reference this temporary PDF file. Is there a way inwhich I can embed the PDF binary content into the html directly and show this html on the webbrowser control directly? I found these previous threads referring to a COM 'hack'. • WIF using SAML 2 protocol / Federate AD FS 2.0 with CAS

  I'am are trying to implement a Web SSO with claim based identity using WIF and AD FS 2.0 right now. Right now I have a existing ASP.Net application which delegates authentification to the AD FS 2.0 server and trust issued security tokens. That works just fine. However, in the organization there is an existing JA-SIG Central Authentication Service (CAS) server which supports the SAML 2 protocol. I would like to replace AD FS 2.0 with the existing CAS service. In my understanding WIF uses WS-Federation, which is like a container around a SAML token. Is it possible to use the plain SAML 2 protocol and it's bindings (redirect or POST)? If that is not possible (as I guess), a second alternative might be to use federate identity and federate AD FS 2.0 with CAS. Is that possible? There is little to no information about that on the web. Thanks :-)

  I just installed the POCO Template for EF4. I have a single entity in my model, AnnouncementText, and the T4 files seem to be properly generated. Attempting to access this new entity is throwing the following error when I access the auto-generated property MyObjectContext.AnnouncementTexts: InvalidOperationException: Mapping and metadata information could not be found for EntityType 'MyNamespace.AnnouncementText'. The properties on the AnnouncementText POCO seem to match up with the columns in the database, and I haven't changed any of the auto-generated code.   I am trying to create a zoomable container and I am targeting API 14+ In my onScale (i am using the ScaleGestureDetector to detect pinch-zoom) I am doing something like this: public boolean onScale (ScaleGestureDetector detector) { float scaleFactor = detector.getScaleFactor(); setScaleX(getScaleX() * scaleFactor); setScaleY(getScaleY() * scaleFactor); return true; }; It works but the zoom is not smooth. In fact it noticeably flickers. I also tried it with hardware layer thinking that the scaling would happen on the GPU once the texture was uploaded and thus would be super fast. But it made no difference - the zoom is not smooth and flickers weirdly sometimes. What am I doing wrong?

  This is a classic sort of question, I suppose, but it seems that most people are interested in having the textbox cause a postback. I'm not. I just want the event to fire when a postback occurs. I have created a webpart with a custom editorpart. The editorpart renders with a textbox and a button. Clicking the button causes a dialog to open. When the dialog is closed, it sets the value of the textbox via javascript and then does __doPostBack using the ClientID of the editorpart. Currently it consists of custom DirectShow push filter (C++) which receives data from remote hosts using RTP protocol and tiny C# application that sets up the DirectShow graph and is used as a container for the video. I'm using DirectShowLib interop library. However, I'm not sure how to pass parameters from this C# app to my custom filter. What are possible ways to do it?

  Hi All, I got this homework. And have solved it in following way. • Silverlight RelativeSource of TemplatedParent Binding within a DataTemplate, Is it possible?

  I'm trying to make a bar graph Usercontrol. I'm creating each bar using a DataTemplate. The problem is in order to compute the height of each bar, I first need to know the height of its container (the TemplatedParent). Unfortunately what I have: Height="{Binding RelativeSource={RelativeSource TemplatedParent}, Path=Height, Converter={StaticResource HeightConverter}, Mode=OneWay}" Does not work. Each time a value of NaN is returned to my Converter. Does RelativeSource={RelativeSource TemplatedParent} not work in this context? What else can I do to allow my DataTemplate to "talk" to the element it is being applied to? Incase it helps here is the barebones DataTemplate: <DataTemplate x:Key="BarGraphTemplate"> <Grid Width="30"> <Rectangle HorizontalAlignment="Center" Stroke="Black" Width="20" Height="{Binding RelativeSource={RelativeSource TemplatedParent}, Path=Height, Converter={StaticResource HeightConverter}, Mode=OneWay}" VerticalAlignment="Bottom" /> </Grid> </DataTemplate>
